... my German professor decided to assign our term paper at the very last minute ... and she only just now posted directions for it, and it´s due Monday. We have to analyze a poem that is in German, which is only 100 words long, and create a 1500-2000 word (6-8 paged) essay about it. We have to make an outline for it... we have to do some outside research to fully understand what the poet is trying to say... we have to also analyze it through poetic techniques (does it use pentameter, rhyme scheme, etc)... all in three nights.
How messed up is that?
I usually love this professor, but she is really doing a total s**t job this semester.
I´m actually just more pissed off about this than upset/frustrated.

So I´m working on the paper now, right? It´s been a good 2 whole hours and I´ve only got 181 words down... out of about 750-1000. crying
UGH.

That is pretty shitty. I ******** hate being told to do an assignment last minute. Even if I do it last minute. >.>
Still, I like to mentally prepare myself.

Omg, I'm having the same problem, well did.
I had to do a movie review for my music teacher and she was like,
I never got it. I was like WHAT, I handed it in!
A day early in fact.
And then she brought up, "the window of opportunity" s**t.
I'm not going to lose mark for handing something in early.
Then she was questioning that I did it, I'm like YEAH, my friend saw me hand it in and my boyfriend has a copy too.
It's not like I'm some slacker student...

I hate it, too. I have SO much to do other than this assignment this weekend... but I have a sick feeling in my stomach that I´m only going to have time for this assignment, since it´s so far proving to be incredibly time consuming. x_x

I never got it. I was like WHAT, I handed it in!

And then she brought up, "the window of opportunity" s**t.
I'm not going to lose mark for handing something in early.
Then she was questioning that I did it, I'm like YEAH, my friend saw me hand it in and my boyfriend has a copy too.
It's not like I'm some slacker student...
Jesus. I had that problem my freshman year of college. x_x I was sick the day we had to turn in our last papers for my one history class and my professor emailed me back saying that he recieved it... but then I got a D in the class which didn´t make any sense and I saw on blackboard.com that I had a 0 for my paper. gonk I emailed him and he was like "yeah, I thought that was weird for you!" and he found it and yeah... I got a B. x_x

Teachers are not forgiving these days.It doesn´t get any easier as time goes on. gonk I was lucky that that professor was so understanding and knew that it was his own fault... most college professors are old and very ... cold and uncaring. gonk
