Story Background
Demons came to take the earth for there own. Angels came to destroy the it. Spirits came to help us fight. We are the chosens.... 12 spirits came to earth in hopes to save our world from certain doom, through the temples was created forges in which they were used to create Armlets with great power. They were all fused with one of the 12 spirits and allowed the chosen of these armlets to have great power to protect there world. But a law was cast upon the armlets that any one who harmed or killed a mortal being with its power shall be punished. For the blood will burn away its metal and a death of mortal will cause the armlet to eat away your soul. That was the law of the Darkened.
The armlets gave the chosen the ability to manipulate nature as well the ability to summon a armor and a weapon. Each generation a new chosen is picked out be the Armlets, that is the will of the great 12 spirits.
There are three worlds, the umbra, the nexus, and earth. It is believed that the umbra, home of the sprites and the nexus home of the demons are separated by a wall that is earth, and if demons were to conquer earth then there would be no way to stop them from taking over the umbra, and so the spirits wish to destroy earth so there is nothing left but a void and no reason for demons to cross over. This is believed to be the demon spirit war. Twelve spirits came to earth to stop it for they believed if earth was destroyed so would everything else.
The Story
You are the 3rd generation of chosens, a conspiracy and a mystery unfolds, there is more then what meets the eye to the war, as there is more to the law of the darkened. It is the near future, Chosens had fought a ancient evil and nearly lost, they fought a Demon god and won but at the cost of lives, the 13th spirit who betrayed the 12 spirits of the chosens had been resurrected and the chosens banished her into darkness, Spirits had managed to attack Earth and nearly succeeded, in the end the cause of the demon spirit war "Asumas (A witch who created the 13 spirits) to power a machine that could take the three worlds and make them one, believing that doing this would make every one immortal and be forced to serve her as a queen and destroyed her for good. But the worlds were lift in chaos and hell has swept through all three worlds.
Now is the time for chosens to return and unite, and to seek out the Crests of Gaia on all three worlds in hopes to heal the life stream and to fix the miss that was caused by Asumas' attempt to combine the worlds for immortality.

Chosens = People picked out by the 12 great spirits to protect the Earth from the war. They have the ability to manipulate nature, to summon a armor, and a weapon all from a special armlet infused with 1 of the 12 great spirits. The armlets are blood thirsty and devours souls for energy. It is said that when something is killed by the armlet (demon, Spirit, or Mortal) that the chosen inherits a fragment of that beings memories.
Demons = There are many classes of demons as there are Spirits. When a mortal being dies and the great flow that covers all three worlds (a life stream) depending on the mortals nature they are sent to the nexus and become demons.
Angels = Angels are higher class spirits. There are many classes of Angels all with different responsibilities.
Spirits = When a mortal dies and depending on there nature they may get sent to the umbra were they become spirits. There are many classes of spirits.
Demon Lords = Demons are territorial by nature and there are leaders. Demons who are powerful by magic and by laws can gain the rite to become a demon lord.
False Chosens = People who created there own armlets of power using a fallen fragment of a real armlet of a chosen, are called false chosens. Often there armlets have a demon spirit inside it and have powers that a normal chosen would not have, but the armlets them selves are weaker then the real ones. (Powers Vary)

Character Background Information
Note that story wise, Chosens are picked by the spirits, that is why they are chosens. There are laws that exist for both demons and spirits, In order for a demon to physical exist on Earth they need to posses a host to grow in side of in order to gain a physical form, sometimes it takes more then one host (that means hosts die), in order to gain a physical form. Alternatively there are things of great power that are strong and powerful enough to instantly give them physical form. Laws for spirits and angels, in order for them to exist physically on Earth they need to be resurrected or reincarnated. They can not posses a living being with out tearing theres or the hosts soul apart. Although there is one last alternative that goes for both Demons and Spirits, is a powerful enough Gate way able to reverse that Great Flow (The River of life) its self granting them a instant Transition Between worlds. Only one object has been said to be that powerful and that is something called a Crimson Jewel. There is only four in existence.
It is possible for some one to become a demon or a angel with out dieing, and you can be born a demon or angel, as well as half demon or angel.
Demons and Angels are immortal beings, they can live agelessly if they choose to. They are only immortal when it comes to age.

A busling city fully of people. Cars, smoke and pollution. Things that Aki didn't enjoy. He lived in a house that his late mother Luna had owned. She also left him an armlet, but he didnt like jewlery too much. His mother, he remembered was a beautiful woman. His father had left her, she had told him when he was only a month old. He hated his father. Aki sat in his bed, then fell asleep. The armlet started to glow.
Aki...Aki..it's your mother...Aki...AKI WAKE UP THIS INSTANT!!!
Aki snapped awake and he looked around.
Mother? No...it couldnt be...
Oh yes it is son. Look at the armlet I gave you...
Aki opened a drawer and he took it out. Looking in it, he saw it begin to swirl.
Put it on son..
He did and a big flash of light appeared and he could hear his mother's voice clearly in his head.
Aki..you are the next in line..for the chosen...of the Fox. I was one when you were little and my Uncle Arashi was the one before me....it is our destiny..

Char raced through the city on her bike, moving swiftly through the ruined city. She was almost to the warehouse facility. She wanted the documents that the DLN been hiding. She remembered the first time she ran into the DLN, They considered them selves the true Demon Lords of the Nexus, thus DLN. They told her that they had nothing to do with her Fathers death but she wanted to be sure. She hat the white wolf seto on her side, she was the chosen of the armlet and with its power she thought she was unstoppable.

Aki blinked a bit and looked down.
"Mother...but...what really happened to you......?"
I died saving my friends...Brandon and the others...I died saving them.
Aki fingered the jewel on the armlet and sighed a bit. He was currently shirtless, O.O while he looked around for his shirt. It was a white sleeveless shirt. He wore black stealth camo pants as well. the number 13 was tattooed on his right upper arm as he smiled a bit,"Mother...I'm glad your spirit wasnt damaged..."
Well I am your mother..I can't go down that easily

Its been such a long time. No one had heard or even had news of Brandon. Charr was the only know who knew anything about him as he was her father. She beated her self up for such a long time, cause her soccer games, plays, and anything she did in school and anything else, her father was always never there. She never knew about chosens at the time. No nothing about demons, and knew nothing about what was going on with the worlds crumbling. Like everything it was hidden and people were blind. She knew though that pollution rate rose considerably high since the days before she was born. She knew about global warming now becoming ever so much a serious issue. Floods spread across the globe as the Ice of the north pole melted. There was even reports of heightened awareness in many people across the globe, spirits and ghosts were no longer simply a belief, every one knew the existence of them. Some thought of them nothing more as phantoms form the passing consciousness of the loved ones, others believed that they were spirits of the dead. Charr believed... she knew they were spirits. And there were reports in the news that a world war may break out soon. Religions across the world believed it was now the days of the end.But nobody not even her knew about the chosens.. the demon spirit war... and the Machine that was to combine all worlds into one.. the very machine that caused this mess in all three worlds. That was until the day.. Charr witnessed her fathers death. The day she found out that all those days her father was never there... it was because he was out fighting for her. And now.. died for her. She grew up hating and resenting her father.. Now she loved him so much and would never be able to tell him cause he was dead now. She inherited the great spirit of the wolf.. learned all that she could about chosens, the demon spirit war. That was also when Seria began to speak most to her.. and explained to her much of the critical situation. Seria was a spirit that always kept Charr company since the days of her birth. Seria was a dragon. She never spoke much to Charr, but she always comforted her when it was needed and she always tried to tell her not to hate her father for he had a good reason for why he missed out on her life and yet Seria never explained why to her till the days of her fathers passing.
Charr was no longer on her bike, and was now jumping roof to roof, in full white wolf armor. The armor looked different from when Brandon had it. It was reconfigured to fit a womans body, and the design was a tad different. There was even a long scarf that came down from her neck that seemed to added elegance to the armor.

Lowering his gaze, Aki sighed a bit,"Mother...why me?"
You are next in line for it son..I died protecting you and now you must inherit that same fate...I'm so sorry son....I truely am...
Aki looked at the Armlet and he turned his wrist around. It had conformed itself around his wrist. he yawned and went outside. the city looked different from when he was younger. Of course the war had gotten worse. Sighing, he went out and followed the trail down towards the city.

Said Sierra, the dragon spirit that fallowed her since she was a child. "I got it." Charr triggered the blade as she leaped onto roof to roof. Suddenly a demon appeared on the roof in front of her. "AH!" She yelled and leaped up into the air, as she cam falling she struck that blade strait through the demon. The demon looked like a skeletal lizard. And there was more coming. This was not a DLN, but a mere minion. She had finally found her target. In a near by building was a man looking out the window of his apartment. As if he knew she was coming and she was just above his window, she quickly grabbed on to a ledge and did a sorta summer saulted into the window. She grabbed onto the mans shirt and held him close to intimidate him. "Charr... that is definitely you... I know why your here!" He said nervously and pulled out a key. "Here!" He said and held it with his free arm. She released him and took the key. "Thank you for making this easy for me." She said and leaped out the window. She got back to her bike and she was off to the warehouse. The man knew about her for she had questioned him before about the ware abouts of something called the Shamen Stone.

Charr suddenly wiped out on her bike, when two men jumped into her way. She skunned up her arm pretty bad, but she was lucky, it wasn't enough to keep her down, and wasn't skunned to badly, she had leaped off of her bike just in time before it had a impact with the ground scraping up the side fo her bike... She stood up and pulled off her biker helmet, and dropped it on the ground. Blood dripped from her and onto the armlet and it sizzled and melted in the places the blood dripped. "You better have a good reason for scraping up my beautiful paint job." She said triggering her blade. She knew right away that they were also DLN. "I think the least of your worries missy is your bike. The Key!" Said one of the men, who wasnt a man at all but a demon, in his fullest form. In the dark he looked like a man, but in the light of the street lamps, you could see the spikes that exited his head, and the reptilius look of scales on his face. Some sort of human lizard demon. By the looks he was a demon lord dog. The other one was a Angel, and although Angels normally chose not to mix in with demons, this one was obviously working for the DLN as well. The angel had long ruby red hair, and eyes the color of fire, and although beautiful, he was dangerous, Angels are nothing like demons, but are just as dangerous if not more.
"Foolish child... Poor foolish sinful child..." Said the angel, pulling out a rapier.
"Your world is fallowing apart like the rest of them, Why work for the DLN? The shamen stone is essential for the survival of all our worlds!" Charr asked. She had no trust for demons, she had no trust for anything but she always believed that angels were good. But she also believed demons were evil. She still did.
"Worlds that are falling apart, full of sin... full hate... full of foolish children... Lady Asumas, had the right idea of combing all worlds.. it was children like you who interfered and made all the worlds like this. What was a sacrifice of one world if it meant creating a wonderful one? A true heaven.. Don't you see child we only seek a true heaven... and not this hell you middling chosens had caused?"
Charr grew angery. "I had nothing to do with those events, I only seek a way to restore the worlds..."
"Once again foolish child.. blind child... The worlds cant be saved. they were fated to parish.... But i grow tired of this..." The angel said just as 3rd person had came up from behind and grabbed Charr with a fish net. "Auh." She tossed and turned int eh net, but was so confined she couldn't move enough to get the blade to cut the net.

If this was a successful hit, hopefully it would drop the girl so he could catch her and tear the fishnet to free her.

If this was a successful hit, hopefully it would drop the girl so he could catch her and tear the fishnet to free her. Said the angel by the demon. The Angel that shoved Aki back with his wings summoned a sword and spoke with a deep toned voice "Ill slay the both of you who wish to interfere!"

Gauntlets and greeves appeared on him and he jumped up and kicked the creature in the side. If this was a successful hit, hopefully it would drop the girl so he could catch her and tear the fishnet to free her. The Angel stared blankly, the demon laughed and the man Aki kicked turned out to be a Angel as well, White wings shot out from his back and spun around shoving Aki back. "Another fool..." Said the angel by the demon. The Angel that shoved Aki back with his wings summoned a sword and spoke with a deep toned voice "Ill slay the both of you who wish to interfere!" Aki growled and stood. Staring at the creature,"It takes a fool to know a fool." he said, flipping him off. His tail flipped around and his ears twitched. Growling again, Aki went to punch the creature in the face. Hopefully, connecting this time.

Aki hissed in pain as he felt the sword cut his flesh. Growling lowly, the armlet started to cover his arms. Soon he had Gauntlets and Greeves. Grinning, Aki rushed at the creature. But in mid rush, he saw that the girl had left. Stopping, he then flipped off the creature and ran off. (xD)
