Another WWCW Member?

The war between XCW and WWCW has been raging over the past month. At Ground Zero, XCW seemed to pull ahead, taking two of WWCW's championships and taking the lead in a win-loss war. This past week, WWCW turned that around, with a little help from the Heartbreak Kid.

The main event was a six man tag team match pitting 3 XCW superstars against 3 WWCW superstars. Shawn Michaels was the guest referee, being one of the few wild cards in the bunch. Earlier in the evening, he was placed in a number 1 contender's match for the WWCW World Heavyweight title against Christian Cage, who was making his XCW debut that night and had a run in with both world champions. As he made his way to the ring, Shawn Michaels had a brief staredown with the XCW champion before going into the ring and starting what could have been a true classic. Unfortunately, the XCW champion got involved, allowing Christian to capture the number 1 contender's spot. Obviously unhappy with the distraction, HBK superkicked everyone in the ring, including both world champions and the new number contender. But there was no rest for the weary as he had to head into the main event as the guest referee.

Starting off, Shawn Michaels seemed impartial. XCW took control in the early going but eventually WWCW fought back. however, at the end of the match, XCW's team of Cartwright, Mystique, and Brandon Damone, took charge again with some impressive and unexpected teamwork, Shawn michaels seemingly showed his true colors. Having had his problems with Cartwright's tag team partner earlier in the nite, it seems Shawn Michaels chose to get a little more payback by turning on Cartwright. As Cartwright had Snypa set up for a figure four, Shawn Michaels delivered some Sweet Chin Music to the talented one to give Snypa the chance for the victory. WWCW teammates Snypa, Jed, and Janelle fled the ring as Brandon and Mystique came back into the mix, and Shawn Michaels left too, leaving behind the impression that he's joined the WWCW ranks. Unfortunately, Shawn Michaels declined all comment at this time.

A New Intercontinental Champion

Coming into this week's Impact, we had a triple crown champion. Zarel Damone walked into Impact as the Intercontinental champion, and had every intention of leaving with the gold still around his waist. However, he had a score to settle with the Big Red Machine. Kane and Zarel have been at each others throats since Zarel's XCW debut last year. The two have had some hellacious matches, with their feud culminating in an ambulance match that was one of the most brutal and bloody contests of the year. But this time, they had a different score to settle.

At Ground Zero, Zarel retained his title by disqualification against the Phenom. As Zarel fled the ring, it was Kane that tossed him back into the ring and with his brother double chokeslammed him. The Undertaker capped it off with a Tombstone, and Zarel was left near unconsciousness. Upon his awakening, it seems Zarel went to the chairman, his twin brother, and demanded a match with Kane. Jarel granted his request, but made him put the intercontinental championship on the line.

Zarel dominated the early going. instead of brawling with Kane, he went after the Monster's legs, targeting them with several submission holds including the figure four leglock and the sharpshooter. However, it seems the undertaker wanted to return the favor to his brother for the night before. as Zarel had kane down in the figure four leg lock, possibly getting ready to submit, the undertaker stepped out, the familiar gong tolled, and the lights went out. When the lights came on, Kane had Zarel by the throat and finished him off with a hellacious chokeslam.

After the match, Kane quickly found out who his first challenger would be. In the past several weeks, he's had run ins with the returning Jed, and Jed made a statement this night, finally getting the best of Kane with a JKO. Kane obviously intends to retaliate, as he faces Jed one on one for the first time in XCW history next week with the intercontinental title on the line.

HBKs Mistake!

Shawn Micheals was the special guest referee in my tag team match against those WWCW invaders. No worries, I thought, he is XCW like me!

As usual, I was about to win the match, proving once again why I am The Talented One and XCWs uncrowned Champion!

However, HBK gave me some Sweet Chin Music before I could put that pyromaniac moron Snypa into a Figure Four for the obvious victory!

While nobody knows where HBK stands at this moment in time regarding whether he is XCW or WWCW, I couldn't care less. All that matters was that HE SCREWED ME OUT OF MY VICTORY! Nobody does that and gets away with it!

According to my good buddy and fellow XCW Tag Team Champion Zarel Damone after the match backstage, he and HBK had a disagreement and HBK attacked me to "get one over" Zarel.

Now I'm all for Zarel and HBK kicking the turd out of each other, because I can watch Zarel mop the floor with him! But now that HBK has crossed the line and attacked myself, he is in for a whole new world of pain!

Snypa's Record/Aces Work Well

We were ordered by Damien and Snypa to say one thing about them.

They work well together as a tag team since becoming WWCW's Tag Champions and Snypa would like to say that through countless companies, he has gathered a record of 5 wins and no losses against Cartwright.

The Champion Strikes Back

This edition of Impact saw the Undisputed Champion, Zarel Damone, lose one of his three championships due to interference from the number 1 contender, the Undertaker. After Ground Zero when Kane helped in the beatdown of Zarel, whose tactics have become questionable at best, it seems Zarel was out for revenge against the Big Red Machine before heading into the last man standing match with the Undertaker. And during the course of the match, Zarel showed how dominant he can truly be, working Kane's legs over for the entire match. The Undertaker made his presence known, however, costing Zarel the title before preparing for his own match later that night.

The Undertaker took on Adam Mastrocola, the television champion, in a back and forth contest in which the newcomer took it to the Phenom. However, as the Undertaker was about to possibly pick up the win, Zarel interfered, bringing the match to a no contest. Zarel and the Undertaker then brawled in and around the ring, eventually heading up to the stage where Zarel tossed the Phenom several feet off the stage into the tables resting below. Zarel looked down at the Undertaker triumphantly, having finally gained the upper hand on his challenger.

Zarel:You know, that's just a taste of what i have in store for the Phenom. You know, guys like Damien Ace and Christian Cage talk a big game about how they defend their titles. It's time for me to show them how you really dismantle a challenger. Next week on Impact, the Undertaker's a** is mine.

Triple-Debut Match Blows XCW Roof Off

This latest edition of Impact saw the first ever Pit of Hell match, where the ropes were wrapped in barbed-wire, the ring apron soaked in gasoline, and the turnbuckles filled with shards of glass. The brainchild of a man who also made his Impact debut, "The Punk" Matt Shanahan, was a huge pop for the crowd. As stated by Matt, the rules were to make your opponent bleed, set them on fire, and then pin them.

This match also marked the debut of the wrestler known as Rhamm. A man who, as many fans know, has wrestled for and held many championships in several federations. And, as a former 2nd Lieutenant in the Marines, is never one to back down from a fight.

The Punk's promo challenged anyone to his creation. Wanting to make an immediate impact, Rhamm accepted the challenge. The match was just as brutal as described in the promo, going back and forth between the Animal and The Punk. The match was filled with unbelievable and shocking points, including Rhamm hitting The Punk over the head with a flaming piece of broken table and Matt hitting a top-rope leg drop with the Animal down on the outside. But, in the end, it was The Punk winning the match with a Sidewinder. Bloodied and beaten, Shanahan walked out of the ring only to have another XCW newcomer, Poisin, challenge him to the same match!

Rhamm was carried out of the ring on a stretcher and taken to the local hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He was released the next day. We managed to catch up with Rhamm as he left the hospital.

Rhamm: That's the most brutal match I've ever been in. It's gruesome, bloody, and barbaric. I respect Matt for coming up with the idea for the match and for his abilities inside the ring. Not many people can say that they've put me in the hospital, let alone in my debut match with a company. But, don't worry. The Animal will be back in the ring before you know it.
