It has finally begun! The Second LDS GAIAN AVATAR CONTEST!
Your chance for easy gold is here!
This contest is one that circles around participation, and a fair vote. As such, instead of a poll, we have voting cards. Submitting a competitive voting card will earn you 2500 gold, and submitting a casual voting card will earn you 500 gold. Each are in the post below, if you wish to mail them both at the same time. An explanation also accompanies them.
YOU MUST VOTE IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR PRIZE MONEY! Mailing the voting card earns you 3000 gold! So DO IT!

This contest has prizes as follows, provided there are enough votes to validate giving out this much money:

1st - 15000
2nd - 10000
3rd - 5000
4th - 3000
5th - 2000
6th - 1000
7th - 800
8th - 600
9th - 400

11th - 100
Casual Section
1st - 1500
2nd - 1000
3rd - 500
Prizes will be cut if there is not enough participation to warrant the excessive amount of gold being given out here.

VOTING - YOU MUST READ THIS!
Voting is done by the following scheme:
For the Avatar that you feel is best, type 1 next to "Ranked" underneath their name on the voting card. Type 2 for the second best, 3 for the third, etc. Until you have filled the card. If you cannot decide which is better, give them both the same number and then continue on to the next number. You can rank as many people as you want the same number, but please make sure you are giving your honest opinion.
To vote, right-click on the link for my PM found in the next post, and open it in a new window. Click Quote on the next post, and copy the contents into the PM. Fill it out, mail it to me, and I will send you your gold.
If there is confusion, please post and I will clarify

I should probably state that voting cards will be kept completely confidential. Also - I will take NO OFFENSE whatsoever if I get last place. All the clothing I have on was given to me - all the gold I make goes to the guild.

Please feel free to comment on avatars here as well (make sure your comments are either constructive criticism, or compliments please).
If the votiing card is too intimidating, you may send a PM with the rankings of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, instead of individual ranks. Doing this, however, will only qualify you to recieve prize money. You will not recieve the bonus 3000, you will only get 500, as I have to convert this into the other ranking system in a fair manner, which will be time consuming.
The leaders board will be updated when I get home tonight, as I need to enter the numbers into a spreadsheet that I made to calculate the totals.

For those who did not post specific avatars, please refrain from changing your avatars during this month, as it will mess up voting. If you wish to change your avatar for the competition, do so NOW. For those who wish to re-do their voting, they will get an extra 100 gold added to their bonus, (IF there are avatars that have changed). This extra little bonus only applies once.

The contest is far from over - we have only recieved 11 votes so far. Please remind your friends that they get 3000 gold for a rank-by-rank voting card, and 500 gold if they rank each avatar from 1-10. They don't even have to be members of the guild, as they should be able to see the thread, and PM their vote to me. For those who aren't participating in the contest, I will send you your gold as soon as I get your vote.

Please forgive me for being dense, but could you give us an example of a filled in voting card? I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're getting at. Also, can we vote for ourselves? (Not that I have a burning need to vote for myself but would I have put myself in if I didn't think I deserved to win? wink )
