Make it so only people who have cleared say SSC/Tk and done a certain quest to enter Northrend. This of course would act as a noob filter ^^. I'm just really tired of seeing so many mass noobs at level 70 who have no experience with raiding and such.

That would be more like 75% of the WoW population, espically heavy PvP servers.

what about KARA attuned? with nightbane down? this would be a better noob filter, since many people seem to struggle with nightbane. or shade.....

As much as I hate noobs, I disagree entirely. The game is to have fun, whether you know how to play it or not is not really the point. Blizz won't do this because many will stop playing altogether. Logic says this idea is not a good one. ><

Kayariy what about KARA attuned? with nightbane down? this would be a better noob filter, since many people seem to struggle with nightbane. or shade..... Yay, that would let my guild in. But I agree with Ginhana. smile

i've cleared up to tk/ssc on my first 70, paladin,
but my new main is a shaman and i'm not even kara attuned on him, nor do i plan on being so anytime soon.
not everyone likes raiding.

This suggestion is completely retarded. A lot of people are very casual players who may never even see Gruul's, nevermind SSC or TK.
For WotLK I hope they allow players to use their flying mounts in Northrend. This includes Netherdrakes and the flying vaginas or whatever they're called, frankly I dont care.
New mounts would be cool, maybe aquatic mounts.
I havent been keeping up to date on rumours/releases/news about WotLK so I have no idea if this is actually going to happen in the exp, but if they introduce Nazjatar, I think an aquatic mount would be pretty cool.

Naz is the city where the maelstrom is, at the bottom of the ocean, where all the naga live.
Next next expansion probably lol
Yeah I'd like if at 80 or whatever you got a quest chain to maybe 'upgrade' your flying mount, placing an enchantment or something on it (maybe you can outfit your flying mount with guns and armour, that'd be kinda cool, have a whole new aerial battleground) to withstand cold winds so you can actually use it.

Because SSC and TK are hard, right?
There's no reason for Blizzard to close off "fresh" content to people who didn't see previous raid content. It severely limits accessibility of the game to people unable to commit time to raiding, or for people who can't stand the monotony of pve in this game. MMO expansions are intended to draw in new players, and reset gear stratification between players with different amounts of free time.

I don't think we'll be able to use the flying mounts from Outlands in WotLK. The coding would be a PITA, on top of the other new things they're introducing. It'd be great if we could, but I wouldn't count on it.
