I love Peyton Manning...His personality, his football knowledge and skills, and his leadership. I'd rather have Peyton on my team as a leader, and a person.
But in order to win a championship, and be successful, I'd have to say Tom Brady. He has been the most successful QB in the NFL since the new millennium. Three Super Bowl rings, a Super Bowl MVP, league MVP, and a couple of records to throw onto that. He manages the offense well, and is a winner. He wins the big games, and rarely makes mistakes. He usually gives his team their best chance to win. Brady spells success...
(although I think Brady will go 3/4 in Super Bowl championships, after a Giants upset in XLII wink )

i dont know about that brady more or less jus throws down field and lets randy moss do the work ( not even that good by the way ).
but payton manning has never not been too the playoffs and is undoubtally the smartest qb of all time and throws more accurate and further than brady

Brady has done all that, and is looking for his fourth ring. Manning, who completed his first last year, is great, but just falls short on Tom Brady's success in Championships.

but thats all they have done manning plays great in every game including play offs just becouse he hasent been on the best team every year.
brady on the other hand dosent play good if his team is having a bad game exspecially if he gets presured then pick after pick

I take nothing away from Manning who is great, but you can't argue with 3 Super Bowl rings in the last 7 seasons, currently looking for #4...this question was in the perspective of an owner of an NFL franchise...

I would choose Manning. He seems like a more natural quaterback & leader. With or without Tony Dungy, Manning would be great. I dunno if you could say the same thing about Brady. if you took him out of Belichick's system, would be still be the same QB as we see now?

If i had a franchise, I think I would take Peyton, yes partially becasue i'm a huge Colt fan, but also I think he's a smarter QB and he has much more football knowledge, his throws are more accurate and, he can throw farther. wink

Peyton Manning may be the better QB, and better people-person to hire...
...but Brady is a winner, and a true franchise owner care most for winning [Championships]. You have seen Brady win a trio of Super Bowls with no-name receivers, more than Manning's one and his big-name receivers.
Peyton is the better QB, but you put winning over character, as a stern owner of an NFL franchise.

And if "I" was a franchise owner I would take Peyton. wink
