IT'S TIME FOR A CONTEST.

That is right a contest.

A Free-for-All Contest.

So, what's going on?

RULES

This is a free-for-all, so that means that you can enter in ANY medium you like. Anything. Write a fic, draw a picture, draw a comic, dress up as a character (I'd like to see that), interpretive dance... you name it.

The entries will be judged by a panel of random people i pick up off the street, and they will be judged for the following:

1. Creativity
2. Effort (maybe?)
3. How much money is included in the entry
4. Quality... however the hell that is defined.
5. Taste. Meaning our taste. As I'm not gonna tell you what our taste actually is, I guess it'll just be a shot in the dark. Everyone on the panel will have different tastes anyway, most likely.


Is that it, you ask?

Why, of course not, you thilly goothe.

There will be two prompts. You can take your pick as to which one you want to work with. Or you can work with both.

Prompt #1: "CREEP" BY RADIOHEAD

Prompt #2: The phrase: "Buy a little time"


Ok so there will be a few guidelines, mainly because we do have pet peeves. And you could probably get away with breaking these if you're reeeaaally good.

1. No songfics.
2. Don't flip from one pov to another.
3. No crossovers.
4. Do not break the 4th wall.
5. No original characters. Side characters don't count as original characters.
6. Do not use lined paper. If you do, edit out the lines.
7. No mpreg, crossdressing, or aprons. Sorry.

As I said before, you could probably get away with these if you're super special awesome. But they're a few pet peeves, and you might want to avoid them.


PRIZES

Everyone likes prizes, right? Super special AWESOME prizes?

Super special awesome prize #1:
-2 prints of choice (you will have more to choose from by the time the contest ends)
-Appearing as a faceless (extra) in the comic. With a face. If you appear you'd probably run into one of the protagonists and have one or two lines of dialogue (which you'll choose, of course.)
-Something awesome. I can't tell you what it is, but if you like HoneySyn, you'll like it. I guarantee you. But not with my life. Maybe with schumie's life.

3. What are prompts?
Prompts are triggers, starting points, themes. It could completely stray off path, but if it's completely left field you might want to justify it to us. If you can do that, then go right ahead and do anything you want.

Hmm... prompts are where you start, I guess. Yeah, I guess theme is a good word for it.

Questions, but not directly related to the contest:
1. what would be the color of Charles's eyes? I know he's bleached blond, but couldn't find canon info on his eyes.

2. Is there someplace where we can see what entries you guys got so far? I stumble on a few of them by mistake and they were all very awesome, so I've been wondering what others got in yet.
