So, I've got a great story in my mind for an AU fanfiction, excpet one large detail:
What the Fire Nation in it will be.
I can't tell if I want it to be a communist army (which would make sense because--well, yeah--but it's a bit too close to the canon) or some sort of unethical business (either, like, Enron unethical or baby-animal-killing-for-superfluous-reasons unethical.)
I like both of them, and I really wanted to make it not like the average AU where they're all being cutesy in high school, you know?
So, what do you think?
And if you have an idea for what else the Fire Nation could be, tell me. I want it to be some form of organization that people find unjust or unconstitutional or immoral (obviously.)

I'm torn.
Lol, the only detail that I'm really set on is that Yue will have white dreadlocks. XD
The Gaang is gonna be like a bunch of hippies. But modern-day ones. Like the kind that does yoga. Or street performance. XD
It's gonna be so much fun to write when I ACTUALLY HAVE ALL THE DETAILS DOWN.

This is pretty interesting. My first though was Communism because their favorite color is red. Then, I thought about the shady kind of operation, like in The Godfather. I can imagine it now. Ozai sitting in a black armchair in a dimly lit room, a Fire Nation "soldier" waiting patiently, standing in front of his master.
"Awight boss, you want da Avatar? Awight, boss, I can do that."
"Yes, very good. Since my incompetent son can't seem to capture him."
"Yeah, boss. Of cwause."
A kinky looking Azula walks in.
"You wanted to see me, Daddy?"
"I want you to do away with the Avatar."
"Of cwause, Daddy. Anything for yous. I'll just get Mimi and Tanyas, and we'll get him in no time."
I'm having too much fun. I need to go write this.
