I'm from Highfolk, one of the regions on the outskirts of Iuzian Territory, next to the Shield Lands and a little ways from Verbabonc. Highfolk is prime elf territory, there's so many of us around.
I do a lot in Highfolk, and its a pleasure to meet you!

Katiana's recent trip to Highfolk had taken her all over the Vesve as she did various things for the fight against the Dawn, as well as for the Dawn...it seemed.
She escorted the Dwarven Ancestor Incarnus of Dargas Mor to where he needed to go and everything as well.
It was an exciting trip. More perhaps to come?

Machika Hizurumi was an excited 15 year old kid. Already packing what she thought she would need for the trip, as well as making sure the eggs were still nice and comfy. It was sooo like her mom to take in a child and want to take care of it. Gold dragon eggs were extremely special. She breathed on the enchanted embers a little to watch them flare up, using a bit of her own magical energy to keep the embers fully charged. They kept the eggs nice and warm, and helped them hatch.
She felt close to them as well, considering she started taking care of them when mom brought them back from somewhere near the Dragondown Grotto. Almost tried to keep the eggs of Tiamet and Bahamut too, at least that of Bahamut. But they hadn't needed to use the eggs, so they didn't.
Mom was so fire happy though, Machika liked the flames...but something about ice just made her that much happier too. She was a bit opposite of her mom in that respect.

Katiana and Sei walked through Highfolk. First things first was to meet Grandma Volmyrith. No surprise that she was expecting them really. Expediting dropping off paperwork and all that jazz.
"Greetings..." Katiana said. She bowed.
"Hello Kudryo. How are you? Both of you..." She gestured towards Katiana's belly. "Would you like some cookies or pie?" Both were on the table. Katiana helped herself to both. She was famished...at least the kid was, and that made her famished. And who could pass up Grandma's sweets? She just didn't want a pseudonatural one crawling down her throat.
"We're doing fine," she said. "But...we're not here for formalities. You know that though..."
"Correct." she said. "But I'd much rather you explain."
"The Vashra of the Aimana clan..." Katiana began. "Is asking for your aid in the coming ritual..."
"I see," she replied. "You do know...and remember the Dawn decimated us, draining us of many of our very valuable magic items...and artifacts. She consumed much..."
"I know that," Katiana said. "She knows as well. But she thinks we need all the help we can get, she wants all the help we can get..."
"I understand...hrm...there might be some things..." Grandma Volmyrith said. "Or should I say something..."

"What do you mean?" Katiana asked.
"An item...of particular...draconic interest was found in Verbabonc...for one reason or another, it was delivered to me. Its a pendant...lovely little thing that it is, with a jewel in the middle surrounded by a draconic figure in gold and silver mix. Studying it revealed it was an item to protect draconic creatures, pureblood dragons or otherwise...but I cannot figure out more than that. And as I am not of draconic heritage..." she trailed off.
"The item is useless to you, though Volymrith is known for collecting powerful magical items. Purpose was one of them..." Katiana trailed off.
"Correct, until it left our hands and ended up with Relishi," Grandma replied. "But...still, the pendant may be of some use..."
"But you don't know what it does?" Katiana asked.
"Not in the least..." Grandma said. "Aside from that it protects those with dragonblood inside of them."
"I see..." she trailed off. "Well, I suppose It'll have to do..."
Grandma Volmyrith smiled. "Of course. Though if you were looking for more aide, don't you have friends to call on?"
"I wouldn't want to drag them into this," she said. "And I never asked to come here to ask for aid in the first place..."
"Correct, but still, you should ask. Perhaps you'll find someone able to help more. But this pendant is all that I have to offer currently." Her smile turned a bit...twisted...if that was a word that could be used for it. Katiana shuddered, if more aide was coming...she didn't want to know what it was.
"Where is the pendant?" Katiana asked.
"I'll have a clan member take you to where it is," she said. "And then I'll send you back with plenty of cookies and pies for the road."

And so she was lead by one of the Volmyrith clan members into the basement of the clan's main house, and into a small room. Once there, she saw a small bunch of boxes sitting on a table in the corner of the room. The guide did some magic and made one of the boxes stand out against the others, as well as taking down a few other security proceedings. He nodded for Katiana to approach, and so she did, cautiously, picking up the box, which now seemed a bit larger than it had at first too.
She opened it up, looked inside and looked back to her guide. "This is it?" He nodded and she closed the box and stuck it into her havaersack. The guide led her back up to Grandma, who was having cookies and pies boxed up for her to take for the road. Some might have been pseudonatural, but she couldn't tell at first glance. Even with her really good eyesight.

"Thank you for your kindness Grandma Volmyrith," Katiana said, taking the bundles, handing some to Sei to carry, putting a few in her haversack.
"Good luck with the ritual," she said, nodding. "You will need it I do suppose..."
"Yeah, we will," Katiana replied. "Good day." She bowed and the two headed out back into Highfolk. Katiana did have a few other errands to make, so they would be there for a bit.

Streamlining out of the Highfolk gate was a scantily glad purple skin and hair Succubus. She started looking around calling out for her mistress.
"Excuse me...can I help you?" A short elf with curly hair was waking up in a tree near the gate.
"I'm looking for my mistress..." Alruna didn't have time to seduce, she just wanted to find her.
"Who's your mistress? And...wait...Succubus?" His eyes went a bit wide and he drew a green elven courtblade.
"No! I'm not here to fight! I'm looking for Katiana Nahalim Kudryo," she said, holding up her hands.
"For Katiana?" he asked. "She's back in town?"
"I was told she was here..." Alruna said. "Do you know her?" Of course, she was rather well known, Alruna wasn't surprised that the man knew her.
"Of course, we traveled together often...I'm one of her closest friends," the man replied.
"You did?" Alruna asked. Well, Katiana hadn't much shared her life from Highfolk with her, she'd been wanting to more focus on what was going on on Gaia.
"I'm Sarvanick of Lleyluna, clanmate and friend of Katiana," he said. "Her bodyguard...just as Munothu is." He wasn't very clean though, very wild looking.
"Can you help me find her?" Alruna asked. "I need to find my mistress..."
"Sure...I can help..." he said, though he was very wary of her. "I want to know why she's consorting with a succubus..."
"I'm Alruna by the way." she said, playing with her hair idly.
"Yeah yeah, just don't cause trouble..."
