Due to the new update with its many Awesome AND Expensive items, I see deflation coming.
A lot of people's gold will be going to these items and prices will drop.
Your opinions?
I'm selling my 3 '04 items (Kitsune, Horns, Laurels) expecting to buy them back cheaper in...maybe...2 weeks.

Remember that you can still buy all those new hella expensive items with cash just as well as gold. If you're short of gold, just whip out the trusty ol' credit card, buy some cash, and the items are yours. No need to run your gold down if you have real life money.
I expect some mild deflation just due to the time of year and the higher than usual numbers of people around over the holidays drove the prices up overall. But I don't expect the kinds of drops we saw last spring. (Which were MORE than made up for by the run up since Halloween.)

There may be a hint of deflation, but there are not enough items and they are cool, but not breathtaking, so their impact will be short. I think the Knight items had more immediate impact.

As Diana has said, I see the knight items having more of an immediate impact. Especially since some people may choose to dress their avi up in more of a battle attire due to Gaia Battle being brought up more often as of late. If there's deflation, I'm thinking it will happen more along the line of what happened with the release of Elegant items.

Especially since some people may choose to dress their avi up in more of a battle attire due to Gaia Battle being brought up more often as of late. If there's deflation, I'm thinking it will happen more along the line of what happened with the release of Elegant items.
Is there any news on the battle system? Did they pick a name, how has the playtesting gone?
