Hey everyone,
I"m thinking of putting together an event/RP for the guild and figured I'd brainstorm some ideas with you before starting.
My thoughts:
- Have the RP in the ASOUE universe and visit different locations in the books to solve a mystery or stop Olaf or something else decidedly miserable. ^_~
- Have certain threads as rooms or locations for people to post in.
- Have "NPCs" (nonplayer characters) interact with guild members to provide clues, etc.
Questions:
- Do you want to run this as your own VFD member? People from the books? Both?
- What would you like to see in the RP?
- How will we get enough people to come to the guild to make this work?
Hope to hear back from you all. And keep in mind this is just to start brainstorming, I haven't written anything for this or even thought of a date.

Those all sound like really good ideas. I think would be fun to have some people from the books but mostly are own characters.
I think it would be fun if they were clues we had to find. No idea what....

Okey dokey, so mostly original characters but some book ones, it seems so far. Would we then keep it to the major players from the books? So perhaps the Baudelaires, Olaf, Snicket, Mr Poe, some guardians, the triplets, etc? I may take some of those as my clue-givers, but just brainstorming. Oh, and do we want to have a specific time in the ASOUE continum to set this, or have it pretty open (so we can pick book characters as we choose)? Any other thoughts?

Hi everyone,
So I'd really like to delve into this still especially cause school will be finishing up soon, so I'll have more free time, but I need your support. I don't want to go through making this whole thing and then have only a one or two people show for the event.
SO, anyone have suggestions to gain support? Any ideas still floating around? (pokes at guild)

It seems like a very good idea. However, I suggest that A.) You have the NPCs as people from the book. It won't be as interesting if we are the characters, and B.) Have both factions of the schism present. Some of us would be allied with The Orphans and the Non-Fire side, others could be friends of the MWBBNH and the WWHBNB.

Sounds good. (Apologies for the delay in replying). So...have both sides of the schism, NPCs to add surprise. Anyone want to suggest where in the timeline? Post-Baudelaire fire? Pre-schism?
