History: This RP takes place thousands and thousands of years in the future. But unlike most Role Plays of the future humans are still on earth. And what has become of our planet 800,000 years into the future? First you must know what has happened in the past. On May 8, 2097 global warming finally caught up to humans. The animals and plants have been going extinct for 50 years because of humans need for resources and the heating of the planet. And on that day there was an event that changed the history of man forever. The moon rotated in front of the sun causing an eclipse. This may not seem bad for the start but the moon failed to move its orbit around the Earth. This plunged the planet into a mini Ice Age. Unfortunately, the Yellowstone super-volcano erupted only a week after. It’s clouds of soot covered the sky and allowing no sunlight through. This soot stayed in the atmosphere for almost two centuries. This was considered by many people a new era that would only stop once all the humans suffocated or froze to death. It still is believed by Earth’s inhabitants that it was His wrath upon us for destroying his world of beauty. Of coarse this wasn’t true but it was and still is quite interesting to think about. By now most humans were killed. The more adaptable ones had to put themselves on the endangered list along with almost every other animal. So for thousands of years humans started over for no one no longer knew how to create machines. So they entered a time called the Age of Rebuilding. And for thousands of years they came from hardly cavemen to gentle Renaissance Actors. But all was lost when a real Ice Age occurred and this one was horrifically longer. 490,000 years longer. By the end only three thousand or so humans were alive. And for 100,000 years the humans have been rebuilding a world without electricity, without CO2, without war. But just months ago there was an earth quake. An unnatural one that affected the entire world. Earth shook and rumbled for hours but then it stopped. And in every man’s, woman’s, boy’s, and, girl’s every humans head sounded, “We are the Atlanteans, humble servants of Poseidon. The Lost Civilization has awoken from it great sleep. Your limited technology will cost you your lives. Surrender your selves to us or we will come and kill your race!” And thus began the great war of the New World.
