***Please read everything here to make sure you understand how my shop works. It is a little different from everyone else’s and I would like to avoid as much confusion as I can.***
Hello, all. I'm rather new to Gaia as of now ( I spent some time here a year or so ago but left ) but have looked around a bit before deciding that the best way for me to earn some gold and ( maybe ) friends on here will be through my art. Now, I'm sure you see dozens of new shops opening up every day and ones that have been used before for lovely drawings. I'm just like that, but in a different perspective, I'm offering my own talent ( as far as I can tell ) to you.
Note : Some of my art is inaccessible at the time because I am having problems with DeviantART, so the things I am posting are probably not the best things that I have, and will try to post the things I consider my best as soon as I can. I also hang around the Sutaro Sketcher Oekaki sometimes, but recently I haven’t gotten as much time to doodle on it.
I have been able to get some pictures on Photobucket for display here; however, I am still having trouble with DeviantART and if you want to see * everything * I have done then I suggest you go there yourself so you can see it all. I have added another post with my featured art as examples.
My knowledge as far as art is severely limited, but because I have been able to teach myself, I have been also able to develop what I believe is a unique style. Do not think that this means I can’t draw; compared to many people in my art class at school right now I think that I’m doing pretty good. However, I do realize there are things I have to work on, and I practice a lot. Drawing more and more helps me learn, and even by doing work that is for someone else I am able to find something new about drawing. I've combined elements from many artists I admire, as well as some I might not like so much. But despite this, I am here with my own art now.
I'm sure you will want to see some samples of my artwork before you even think about talking to me about commissions, am I right? I do five kinds of drawings. Within those five kinds are subcategories, explained below. I specialize more in humans, but can draw Pokemon in addition to humans.

PRICES
I’m pretty flexible in terms of bargaining, and break rather easily when it comes to pricing, unfortunately. Don’t take this as a sign that you can just ask for things for almost nothing, but do know that I price things a little higher than they should so I can allow for more bargaining with others. As of now my prices are listed here, though if anyone thinks they are overpriced, I will take initiative and lower them to meet standards. ( Do note I will investigate as to if you are just trying to knock my prices down so you can get cheap art. ) There is a price range, and in between are different options ; I am just giving you an idea of what I am expecting from you and what you can expect of me.
FULL-BODY
-Sketch : 400 g
-Outline ( black // white ) : 700 g
-Color ( simple // no value ) : 1500 g
-Color ( complex // value ) : 2000 g
HALF-BODY
-Sketch : 300 g
-Outline ( black // white ) : 600 g
-Color ( simple // no value ) : 1000 g
-Color ( complex // value ) : 1300 g
BUST
-Sketch : 200 g
-Outline ( black // white ) : 400 g
-Color ( simple // no value ) : 800 g
-Color ( complex // value ) : 1000 g
HEADSHOT
-Sketch : 150 g
-Outline ( black // white ) : 300 g
-Color ( simple // no value ) : 750 g
-Color ( complex // value ) : 900 g
POKEMON
-Sketch : 200
-Outline ( black and white ) : 400
-Color ( simple, no value ) : 800 - 1500 g ( depends heavily on the chosen Pokemon )
-Color ( complex, with value ) : 1000 - 2000 g ( depends heavily on the chosen Pokemon )

---50x50 : 150 g
---100x100 : 250 g
-Special : 300x300 : 400 g
Extras :
Background : * applies to all choices *
--Simple : Add 50 g ( something simple, like a design in the background. If you are not satisfied with it, then I will refund this. )
--Middling : Add 100 g ( a more complex design, but not a landscape or anything )
--Complex : Add 250 g ( may increase if I have problems ; usually entails a great deal of effort as I am not as strong in the background areas as I am, say, humans )
Extra accessories : * applies to Avatars only *
--Every extra accessory past the four allowed will cost 25-50 g in addition to the base price, depending on the accessory in question. This is if you really want something else but it would make it “cluttered” ; note that I will accept a little bit of “cluttered-ness” but not something worth 1 000 000 g + because of all the capes and magic and dragons and fairies. If you are unclear then feel free to ask me about this.
Extra characters : * applies to all *
--One character is what the price includes. However, for an additional 75 % of that price ( rounded down ) I will add another character that you may submit in the same fashion as the first. This is for one picture ; all will be in the same picture. It is not for additional pictures, just a combined one with both or all in it. Feel free to ask me if this is not clear.
Discounts : * applies to Avatars and Characters only *
--If I find there are some people who keep coming back then I will give a discount, 10 % for the second drawing I do for someone, 20 % for the third, and so on up to 50 % . This is my way of saying “thank you”.
I will do one of two things in dealing with payment :
1 ) If you send the gold right away then I will not accept it. Why ? I want to be sure I can handle the request before I accept it. Usually I will not take the gold until I am nearly 80% finished or so, and this is also to reinforce the fact I am trustworthy. smile
2 ) Send you a small bit or a highly-watermarked version of it to tell you I have finished. When the payment has been received I will then post it and send you the high-quality version of it ( since the versions posted won’t be as good in quality ). You may then make an avatar, banner, or whatever out of it, since it is now yours. I do not ask for down payments, but if you do not pay me even after I show you the piece then I will have to blacklist you. I do not take commissioning art lightly, and neither do any other artists out here. I do not ask much, just that you keep your promise to pay.
You choose what you want to do ; some people have sent half in advance and half after I finish, and others just sent it right away. You choose what you want to do. ^^

Types :
FULL-BODY This means I will draw the character in full, no questions asked. I charge more for these because I sometimes have a difficulty drawing shoes/feet. I ask that your character is not barefoot for this ; I dislike drawing bare feet. If this takes longer or you have to wait a while for me to finish, I will add or deduct, depending on if it is because your choices were complex or I was merely slow in drawing it. HALF-BODY Generally from the thighs up, but will sometimes include knees or part of the lower legs if I want to make the shoes visible, or for other reasons I may do this, too. This is my preferred style since it just seems to be easier, as it does not include the feet. If this takes longer or you have to wait a while for me to finish, I will add or deduct, depending on if it is because your choices were complex or I was merely slow in drawing it. BUST From the bottom of the ribcage up, this is a more simplified version of the half-body drawing. It doesn’t take me quite as long to do, but will not include the arms, except for the upper arms. Eliminates the hands and lower arms completely, as well as the lower body. If this takes longer or you have to wait a while for me to finish, I will add or deduct, depending on if it is because your choices were complex or I was merely slow in drawing it. HEADSHOT This is from the shoulders up, the simplest version of the body. It is just the head and the shoulders; nothing more, except maybe the top of the shirt or top your character is wearing. Nothing too special, really. POKEMON ( Yes, Pokemon. ) I draw almost all of the pokemon, but I will have to say if I find a Pokemon to be too complex or unusual for me I will have to deny your request, but will ask if you have another in mind. It would make it easier for me if you drew up a list of your favorites or desired Pokemon and sent them because then I have more choices. Do not, however, tell me when I am done that you wanted a completely different Pokemon. I will, however, draw another if you are not completely satisfied for a discount. If this takes longer or you have to wait a while for me to finish, I will add or deduct, depending on if it is because your choices were complex or I was merely slow in drawing it. Limitations:
1 ) I will not draw anything anthro. Animal ears/tails/claws are about as best as I can do. Sorry.
2 ) I have a slight difficulty drawing males, but with practice this should remedy itself. I will attempt anything that you want, but if something does not turn out quite like it should I will refund/cancel/exchange your request.
3 ) I will not draw:
-so-called “ugly avatars”, ones that clearly are not worth my time—I will decide what is acceptable and what is not since I am the artist here
-Extremely cluttered avatars, where you can’t tell what is what. If I have a hard time seeing what something is, then I will have to make something up, unless I see you are online. If you do not reply, I will choose something for you and work it into the drawing instead of whatever you have selected.
-Buck teeth, eye patches, etc; joke-like things that I consider weird and pointless; again, I will decide what to draw here
-Dragons, animals, etc; with the exclusion of the cat plushies, I generally dislike drawing these kinds of animals; I would prefer you do not choose items like these for me to draw.
4 ) Please do not ask me to draw anything sex-related. I can do “sexy” just fine ( females only, please ) but nothing graphic / vulgar, etc.
5 ) Real people or anything “realistic.” I may be able to draw them in my style but if you are looking for someone to draw them realistically then you have come to the wrong place.
6 ) I do not draw mecha or anything mechanical. That means no guns or gears or anything of that sort. Please.
