((this is carrying over from rp starting in the shop thread. I'll try to keep track of rp colors as more join the coversation)) deeppink=Kaliska turquoise=Kaliska's familiar red= Ren darkred= Ruby blue=Sayuri green= Grendel

Eyecandy needs to be quiet, stand there and look good..."im always friendly." (more so when girls are around but she doesnt need to know that) he gave his best shocked look, "you think im scarying her off""You call talking about possibly eating someone's familiar being friendly?"Oh yeah he's a smart one... Kaliska glares at the coyote, "Oh be quiet Nida."Ren eyeed the coyote for a moment, "no i decided yours didnt look tastey enough to eat, im worryed about a stomach ach."Swerving from her flight pattern the red and black Painter looked down. 'Who are they?' She wondered before slowly landing nearby. Peering around a rock she watched, unsure of whether to approach the two or not.

Kaliska couldn't even think of a reponse to that and just shook her head.The coyote eyed Ren up and down and then sighed shaking her head as well, Ok he just ruined it completely. Have fun talking to Mr Clueless here, I'll meet you back at the cavern. Oh by the way that book you were waiting for arrived, nice choice. With a last disappointed glance at Ren the coyote spirit turned and raced away.

 Too interested in examining the two other painters, Ruby almost forgot about the Coyote. That is until the coyote ran straight past her. Startled Ruby jumped out of her hiding spot and attempted to scoot back out of view...but figuring it was too late she just nodded her head at the others. "Umm...I just happened to spot you two talking." An uncomfortable pause, "I wasn't spying or anything! Just curious..." A small cough and she looked up from her talons to the other female painter, "I'm Ruby and it's...it's a pleasure to meet you!"

as Ruby jumped so did Ren all precautions he had to seem cool and in charge melted and he gave a small squeal in suprise. a noise that was surely not fiting his size. "oh god another girl." trying to gather what remaining pride he had he stood up tall and smiled at her. "hello ruby im Ren." looking over at Kaliska "and i would never eat something that belonged to someone like you."

Kaliska being used to sudden appearances with a friend like Nida only gave a slight start in surprise at Ruby's sudden appearance. "Hi Ruby I'm Kaliska. Nice to meet you. Sorry if Nida startled you." What really surprised her though was the change in Ren. She grinned at him, "You might want to take coyote in general off the menu then because there's other nice painters around here with familiars."

"hmmm." he thought about it for the moment then sighed "done." (they werent that good tasteing anyway) ruffling his wings he looked around to make sure the coyote was no where near by. just so she couldnt surprise him or someone else more.

Kaliska laughed and accurately identifying his discomfort reassured him, "Don't worry she's gone. She was only around to oogle you anyway and for some reason she doesn't find you as cute any more."

On this most pleasant of days Sayuri had decided to laying idle would be a waste, and so she decided to walk. Normally she flew for dragons had a rather ungainly walk, though she was more graceful then most. The reason she chose to walk on this day was it was good to be humbled on occasion, to experience life from the point of view of those not fortunate enough to have wings. However, that did not mean that her testy companion Grendel agreed with her. No, Grendel flew through the air, grumbling beneath his breath the whole time. Chiyo, Sayuri’s familiar, also flew, but Sayuri did not hold that against her; after all, birds had an even more unseemly walk then dragons.
Spotting a small gathering of Painters, Sayuri immediately changed directions and headed towards them. Stopping a respectful distance away, she called out,” Would you mind terribly if we were to impose our company upon you?”
“ What’s with this “we” stuff?” Grumbled Grendel.

"hmm i wonder why?" Hearing the voices hear he looked over to see more coming. "ummm no i guess its a free world isnt it?" He looked back and Gredel and wasnt sure if he was ok with him tho.

Ruby smiled at them and whispered a quiet thanks. She listened to Kaliska and Ren talk before another painter called out to them. Looking around and deciding it okay for her to reply, Ruby called out, "It's fine! I just arrived here myself!"
How did that one saying go? The more the merrier...yes that was it.

Kaliska is distracted a moment by a strange voice in her head, but quickly recovers with a blink and welcomes the new arrivals. "Its no imposition at all. I rather like spending some time with other painters every now and again. My familiar makes for odd company sometimes. So anyone else starting their magic studies?"

"whats all this about magic these days, i like the good old fashion biteing and clawing, give me that over magic." nodding his head fast he looked at Kaliska as if seeking that it was soemthing ok to have said and nothing something that would, send her into another one of those reactions, he had seen the look the coyote gave him. He wasnt sure if he liked that reaction much. And he couldnt get away with hurting the coyote with out it bugging Kaliska, oh what a issue. Sighing again he looked at the new painters. "silent bunch arent they."

“Please pardon me, I seemed to have lost my head in the clouds for a moment.”
Walking up to join the group of Painters, Sayuri lifted her bow-adorned to slightly for her familiar to land on. Grendel however stubbornly sat down right where he was, folding his wings against his back and looking on with vague disinterest.
“ I find myself ill-suited to confrontations of any sort, though my human has on occasion mentioned having me trained in Water magic.”
Chiyo bobbed her head in agreement from her perch on Sayuri’s tail before speaking.
“ Yes, human say’s Sayuri is “full of water.” Him though, he’s full of meanness.” She said, tilting her head in Grendel’s direction. “ He is studying the magic of Darkness.”

"Magic?" Ruby shook her head slowly, "I haven't decided yet..." She blinked and looked at Sayuri and Grendel, "Water and Darkness?"
Closing her eyes for a minute the painter sighed, "I think if I did decide to learn magic...it'd be either fire or air magic." Turning her gaze back to Kaliska she asked, "What about your area of magic?" She wasn't for sure on whether or not she should ask Ren...after all he didn't seem to want to learn magic.

Kaliska grinned at Ren. "When it comes to a fight yeah I prefer a good physical attack as well," she replied. "So it suits that after a long discussion between my human, my familiar and myself, I've chosen shapeshifting. I think it would be really interesting to view the world through other eyes."
