Warlock specs that involve casted damage are vastly inferior to drain specs, with the exception of 2346 and other very specific 5v5 setups. You'll need more resilience to survive against any type of melee, or a partner that's a more threatening target than you are (shadow priest, disc priest, elemental shaman).

This is what I run with. I used to run SL/SL, but I just find this spec a little more fun to go around with. Even in the crap gear my warlock has I still do really well. It relies heavily on DoT and instant cast burst. Drain or SB as needed. :3

SL/SL is better if your more worried about survival, but if you aren't worried as much, off specs like mine can be really fun and enjoyable.
