The day started off like any other day. One would wake up, stretch and get the body awake and moving if needed then go in search for food if one was hungry, the usual stuff. But today was just a bit different. Doing things slightly different then you'd normally do can bring out unexpected surprises, some may be good while others may be bad.
Hijau Satu was starting her normal morning routine. She just finished stretching and decided it was time to find her breakfast. She usually goes by a river or stream to find her food but today she decided to try her luck in the forest. She then trotted off into the forest hoping to find a meal she was able to catch. Hoping that the morning sun will lighten the forests colors, to more of a green or at most impairing the vision of anyone looking in the suns direction, she could blend in more with her surroundings.

 Dubhán blinked at the rising sun. His time of the day was almost over. Being a creature of the night meant that he hardly ever stayed up to watch the sunrise, in fact, this was probably the first sunrise Dubhán had seen in months. Perhaps if he had realized that this was a warning sign that something drastic was about to happen, he would have turned around on the spot and he would have found a nice cozy tree where he could sleep the day away in peace, only to awake 12 hours later once the sun set again, happily unaware of the events that were about to unfold.
But alas, he did not understand the warning, and his grumbling stomach that witnessed the fact that his hunting had resultet in very little food that night was demanding to be filled. now.
Perhaps it was his hungry state of mind that ensured that he didn't notice the green female, whose path he should have never have crossed in the first place, until he bumped into her rather painfully as he jumped out through some bushes.

Not knowing where to find anything, mainly becuase she never really hunted in the forest before, she was starting to think that she should have just stayed near her normal hunting area. But boosting her confidence a little she was indeed proud of herself that she actually decided to do something different on her own so she kept on going.
After walking for a while she, out of the blue, was jumped on/ran into by an unknown figure. She let out a little yelp as she flipped over not knowing who or what ran into her. She instantly reacted by getting back on her feet, backing up a few, and faced the unknown figure, which turned out to be a pitch black spotted ulaya. Not knowing if the new ulaya was friend of foe she stood still, stared and was on high alert.

Dubhán twitched in annoyance with his misfortune as he turned his yellow eyes on the green female. It seemed as if the universe felt like turning on him today. He did not have the patience for interruptions right now, he was seriously beginning to think that he would go insane with hunger if he didn't fill his stomach soon. Insane rage was most likely already creeping into his eyes as he stared the female down. Not as if he didn't always look half crazed in his default sardonic behavior.
On a normal day he would have ripped the head off the unfortunate ulaya that would have crossed his path like this. But of course, this was far from a normal day.
Instead, he restorded to snarling at her "Out of my way, b***h". Pushing her quite forcefully, he didn't care to see how or where she landed, but merely continued on his way.
((Sorry for cursing. It seemed majorly fitting, I'll edit if you're uncomfortably with it ^^; ))

Fear struck Hijau as she stared into the males yellow eyes. Wanting to turn away or atleast close her eyes she hesitated, feeling that something bad would happen if she wasnt watching back. She didnt really know why she was so scared. Though anyone could tell when something bad might happen just by the presence of another, a gut feeling that doesnt go away.
Refusing to show fear she stood strong, in an alert stance, being ready to run off if needbe. Ears twitching and almost flinching the moment the male spoke thinking something might happen she was both relieved and surprised when his words ended with a forceful push. So much for her being alert. She ended up flinching anyway. She toppled over but regained her footing quickly and responded. "W-w-what?! Excuse me!" She surprised herself as she heard words come out of her mouth but couldnt help but continue on. "Sir! Not to sp-peak out of line or anything but you were the one who bumped into me! So you got in MY way."
((Not a problem. :3 I dont mind cursing or anything of the sort. ^w^ *thinks some things tend to be bland without it*))

Dubhán froze at the sound of her voice. Did she have an insane deathwish? Was she suicidal?! Had he not been very clear that he wanted her to disappear?! Silently, and as fast as possible. It wasn't such an unreasonable request, was it?
He turned slowly, a sneer plastered on his face, and anger evident in his eyes. He saw surprise in her eyes. Hmph. So she was the type that spoke without thinking. Idiotic, really. Right there, he decided that he didn't like her very much. Actually, he pretty much hated her.
He growled slightly and hissed at her "you were on my path, not the other way around". It was hardly a proper justification, but his hungry brain wasn't making much sense now anyways. He couldn't help but twitch slightly as an odd grumbling sound was emitted from his stomach, seconding the fact that he was hungry.

A moments pause was made after she finished her statements. Her stomach starting to knot, she wondered what was going to happen. Regret started forming as she saw him slowly move. Oh god... why did I speak out. I'm never like that! Why is today different.... She literally thought she was going to die but prayed against the thought.
The sight of his faces emotions sent shivers all through out her body and the lower part of her legs started to shake. Her emotion stayed the same. She couldnt seem to change it even if she wanted to. Eye's forcing closed and ears pressed back her head lowered a bit as he growled and hissed. "W-w-w-w-well yo-you came from the bushes so-" She really needed to think before she spoke. Luckily she stopped herself before she went on.
Her eyes fully opened and ears perked up, as well as her head, when she heard a sound. Was that his stomach? Strangely her terrifying thoughts left for a moments time and turned her attention to him again. "You're hungry.... aren't you?" Maybe it was his hungry that made him seem unpleasant. Thinking that he was hungry made her feel bad for getting in his way. But still he could have had a nice attitude about it.

He watched her shiver in satisfaction. Even in his hungry-crazed state he enjoyed scaring the sanity out of other ulayas when he had the chance. He was enjoying listening to her shaking and stuttering voice so much that he completely ignored what she was actually saying. But he did notice her abrupt stop of speech.
He smirked slightly. Perhaps she had finally learned to just shut up when in his presence. He was just about to turn to leave again when she, for some ungodly reason, decided to pipe up again.
This time he listened. "Well spotted" he snarled sarcastically "And if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way to put down some deer or another" he turned back to her and eyed her "unless you feel like being the main course of my dinner tonight?" he grinned maliciously.

A bit annoyed at the males unneeded sarcasm Hijau's eyes narrowed. "Yes well spotted!" She stated. "Just because you're hungry doesnt mean you had to be so mean about it. A polite 'Excuse me' would have been just fine." Her tone was a mix between annoyed, hurt and scared. She didnt know what was going to happen to her. The best thing she probably should have done was just be quiet and dealt with his rudeness and continued her day. But she felt a bit stronger today than any other day, for some odd unknown reason.
Ears perking up at his dinner comment made her stutter. "O-oh? N-no I dont think t-that would do. I'm sure a deer would be alot better of a meal than me..." She looked away with an uneasy face, "I'm sorry for wasting your time. No one likes to be hungry.. I understand. Though... if it meant anything to you. I just came from that way and I dont remember passing any deer..." With that said she felt she shouldnt take up any more of his time so she turned and started to walk in the direction she was originally going. Adding, in a low voice, "I may not look it but I do quite well in smelling deer and other game out.."
