I got bored about a week ago and started this, mostly as
practice. I figured since I have the first half done that I'd
post it. I'm aaaaalmost done with the second half.
Also, when I wrote this my Tama wasn't fully evolved yet
so he still look like this:

Mykaen walked along the empty streets of Durem with his little
Tama following along side. He sat down next to the clock tower
and pet Tama, who had crawled into his lap. The sun was setting
and most Gaians were out near Barton, partying and hanging out
with their friends.
"It's beautiful tonight, isn't it Tama?" He looked up to the warmly
colored sky with his white eyes. Tama replied with a small
squeak and nuzzled into Mykaen's hand. "So. What would you like
to do tonight, Tama? We can do anything you'd like!" He smiled
at his pet.
Tama looked up at his owner and jumped out of his lap. He
scurried in a circle and then hid behind a lamp post and peeked
out at his owner.
"Oh, so you wanna play hide and seek, eh?" Mykaen chuckled.
"Okai! I'll count to 30." He closed his eyes and started counting
while Tama took off to the southwest and out of Durem.
The small animal scurried around the graveyard, looking for an
adequate place to hide. Upon deciding that just hiding behind
some of the tombstones or up in a tree would be too obvious he
moved along to the west.
"28...29...30!" Mykaen opened his eyes and looked around. He
had heard Tama run out in the direction of Durem Graveyard and
Halloween Town earlier and decided to start his search there. He
got up from his seat on the sidewalk and began to walk out of
town.
Once in the Graveyard, Mykaen began to inspect the trees and
bushes and look behind the tombstones. After coming to the
conclusion that Tama wasn't around he decided to go south and
check around Halloween Town. He figured since Tama loved
going there so much when they took walks that he would've
hidden there.
Tama thought to himself that he should find a good hiding place
in the forest soon since he knew that his owner would've finished
counting to 30 by now. He inspected several tree roots until he
found one that he was satisfied. The animal dug a small hole next to
the root and tucked himself in.
