History: When he was a mere pup his parents were always looking out for him. The pack they were in wasn't very large and it had been visited by a traveling shaman, just in time to help with the birthing. Everyone liked the odd old shaman, wishing for her to stay and help raise the pups. However, this was not to be. While most of the pack was out hunting, a rabies infested rogue managed to bite two adults in the pack, causing the disease to spread rapidly through the pack. The shaman sensed something bad was going to happen and tried to keep all of the pups from leaving the cave. Only Koshare managed to stay quarantined from the disease. The last survivor of the pack told the wise shaman to take Koshare and teach him all that she could, saying its what everyone would have wanted. The shaman agreed to this and made sure to perform one last ritual for the pack to send off the souls.

The wise old shaman raised Koshare as her own, teaching him of the shaman ways as well as other pack positions that she knew about. She often sang odd and old songs to him, telling him myths and legends of far and wide, experiences from her travels, and all that she knew of the spirits, nature, and the ever important survival skills. She eventually encouraged him to find himself and join a pack so he could live a more normal life, knowing that it was time for her to go settle down in a pack of her own to live out her days. Her name was Zyanya, meaning "forever, always" a point she made about being a shaman and dealing with the spirits. After Koshare left, he has found his way to Dacaiana and is exploring it.

Personality/Temperament: Very curious about the world, sometimes withdrawn from his lack of contact with many wolves. This also leads to him coming off as very strange to new wolves he meets; singing old songs, talking in riddles, acting mischevious or even saying odd comments in general about his perspective on life. He also seems to pick up subtle things about the wolves he meets, an odd gift he has.
