James C. Edwards walked across the campus of Stadium High school. A t-shirt hung off of his skinny frame as he made his way up the front steps of the large high school. Every thing seemed normal about him. Being a teenager he was still growing upward, but had just recently paused his growth spurt and was now at a hight of 5"7. Blue jeans hugged his hips, then bagged down until they reached his converse-covered feet. The only thing that seemed odd about the boy was that in front of him a walking stick swayed to and fro, guiding the boy's gray (blue-tinged) and lifeless eyes.
As he was making his way forward, the cane that was in front of him tapped against a bench, then the side of a shoe. James could tell from the sounds that were made when the object struck against them. "Excuse me, but do you mind telling me where I can find the front office?" The blind boy awaited for an answer, hoping that what he found was actually connected to a person rather then just a random shoe. If not, then James had a good sense on where the main building would be.

Kurt looked at who was talking to him. He looked the boy over, He's blind! He was shocked, he'd never met a blind person that was this young before. "Um....yeah, it's right infront of the main doors. Would you like me to take you there?" Kurt said stand up, he stood about a foot taller than the boy.

James smiled, his white teeth glittering in that warm way. It was a friendly smile, simple and warm, but one that was often seen on the happy-go-lucky boy. "Oh yes, thank you!" The boy said with a huge grin on his face. He had an Irish-American accent that flowed perfectly through his voice. Nothing seemed to be even remotely creepy about him at all, all was warm and friendly. "My name is James by the way." A hand protruded from the body of James as he held the palm out in the other kid's general direction. He waited for a reply or reaction.

In her human form, Natalie stumbled into the library. "...stupid-..mission." she mumbled quietly to herself, taking a seat at an empty table in the library. She swept the hair from her eyes, pondering. 'Why was I sent here? To this school filled with teenagers who 'aven't a clue about the real world...' To be honest, she really didn't know why she was down here, other than her questions...that must be it. She had questions about life as a human so now they were going to show her. Great.

"Kurt." He replied taking the boy's hand, it was surprisingly warm. A cold breeze picked up and russtled the fallen leaves around the ground. "Woo, fall sure has come." He commented as her pulled his blound hair back behind his ear. He looked back down at James. "So main office then, do you need me to lead you or can you just fallow?" Kurt asked, he didn't know if it was rude or not to ask, but he did anyway.

ames smiled when the other boy took his hand. "No, I can follow the sound of your footsteps, but thank you. And there is no need to feel the slightest bit guilty about the question. I am blind, and I have come to deal with it. It was interesting how ames could not see the people themselves. But all of his life, he had been able to read the emotions of the people that were around him. It was a talent that he often portrayed, simply because it came into use. It was easy for James to tell the emotions through the actions that people took, even by the simple act of breathing. And this was how james could see without seeing. Not to mention his ability to pick up even the slightest noise. Though it was nothing new to him, it often came as a hock for others that were around him.
It was as they were walking towards the main building that ames suddenly stopped, his ears twitching slightly when he heard the unsteady step of someone in the recently abandoned building. "Excuse me, I don't mean to be a bother Kurt, but there seems to be something out of place in the west wing of the building...what is in that direction? If there is anything, then will you please guide me to it. There may be someone that is in some sort of predicament." James was not one to be a rude person and often did is best to portray that to everyone that he met. The boy's lifeless eyes looked to the general direction of the boy that he was following. Once more, he awaited a response. If the boy chose to not lead him there then ames figured that he could find the area relatively well on his own.

"West wing?" Kurt said, a bit confused. He turned toward the school, "To the west is the even side of the school, and there is the cafiteia there and half the school's class rooms and on the other side of the building is the football field. And a predicament?" Kurt chuckled lightly at James' use of such a big word in this day and age. "I'll take you there if you want."

Zeek was lost. He hadn't explored this part of the city yet and he had no idea where he was. He was in his human form and currently had deep blue eyes. He saw a building with kids coming in and out. A high school? He thought. Perfect, maybe i can have some fun while I'm here. He grinned and walked in.

James looked a bit confused, but shrugged and went on with his life. "I donno... sometimes my ears play tricks on me." James said with a bit of a laugh, though he had sworn that he could have heard something. Oh well... maybe it was just another one of the stowaways that hadn't left yet. Or perhaps a staff member. But ames was not about to let that bother him. "Yeah... sometimes my ears will pick up a few sounds at once, and I get confused by them...I can't enter shopping malls because of them..." James explained softly, feeling a bit of heat rise to his cheeks. Though he did not say anything more as he followed the boy. His cane swinging back and forth. the boy's head was bent down in thought. A little ways away, James sensed a person whom he could have sworn was up to no good. But James decided to let the thought pass. After all, his ears were capable of playing more then one trick on James's brain.

"Hmmm interesting, I didn't hear anything, but I guess that issue might be very helpful in some situations, right?" Kurt strached his head as he saw James blush, Damn he's cute. "So what are you doing here?" He asked trying to stimulate more conversation. He grabed the door and held it open for James, "Door here." He mentioned.

Zeek started walking around the school. He saw a girl and a boy hugging in a corner of the entrance hall. Love, He thought. What's the point? He had never felt love and didn't understand why humans were fascinated by it. He stood where he was and thought about what he should do.

With a little nod, James gave a polite smile and entered the door that the other held out for him. "Thank you... And I am here... because I wish to enroll in this high school. And...It is a ways from home." the boy trailed off a little, and even for a moment looked a bit sad, but he quickly dismissed the cursed emotion. There was no need to be sad. there was no need for a negative emotion at all. So, wiping away the thought in a single second, James forced himself to give one of his warm smiles. "But I suppose that a lot of people get fed up with their parents every once and awhile." James added smoothly, smiling at his ability to shove away the sadness from his mind. The boy then paused beyond the door, waiting for the other boy to lead the way for him.
