Quote: "Director Catherine Hardwicke is keen to find the right teenager for the role of Jacob," says Casting Director Lana Veenker, owner of the Portland, Oregon-based casting company. "Besides being an authentic Native American, he needs to have charm and charisma. At this point, Catherine is more concerned about finding someone with the right looks and personality, than she is about prior acting experience. And he needs to be available for sequels! This will be an amazing opportunity for one lucky teenager." yeah i got this off the miss meyer's site. here they're talking about looking for a jacob which is all fine and dandy but thats not why i posted this thread. I posted it to point out that the're already talking about Sequels!!!

I wish they would have done the casting for Edward like they are doing for Jacob. Maybe then we would have got a hotter Edward.

I really want to see how Twilight goes.
And even that isnt an indication. Some sequels SUCK. And some turn out decent, like the directors learned a lesson.
We really need to wait for Twilight before we get too excited wink

i hope so too...but then they might also smuch a couple of plots together...which would completely SUCK. They did that for the stupid sisterhood of the traveling pants movie. They butchered it! I am very afraid...

you know not every movie series started off to be great. I mean Harry Potter SS wasn't THAT great, the only thing that really gave it more leverage(sp) was the fact that it was harry potter and now as the series go on the films are getting better (despite some little hic-ups here and there) And I'd rather have it start out in a slight slump like harry potter than it being a total hit as a begining and crash on the sequals like many disney movies *caugh*Priates*caugh*

Heh,I'm glad I wasn't the only one that caught that ;D But it all depends on how the first movie goes.If it sucks I doubt they'll make the sequels because that takes ALOT of money to make & continue further.I don't mind sequels,I mean it would be lovely to see the rest of the movie filmed....and see more Jacob >w>;;
