Daggermark
What's Daggermark? Good question.
Daggermark was created for the purpose of having a special place away from the Barton Town forums for the creation of my games. The guilds to which I already belong at the time of writing have the right kind of audience I need, but my creations don't belong there. Thus, I've decided to make this my base, and to draw in participants, friends and strangers alike. That's not the sole purpose of Daggermark, though. I want for this guild to be a place where everyone who enjoys structured RPGs can come and enjoy my games and create their own.
To make things simple, these are the driving ideas behind Daggermark:
This is a place for friends. Let's all be friends here.
This, above all, is the most important idea. I want to form a group of people that enjoys talking to and roleplaying with each other.
This is a place for innovation.
Blending together good stories and tabletop-styled mechanics brings about a unique and entertaining kind of Gaia roleplay. This guild promotes playing and creating these kinds of games. It also encourages the creation of games which include elements of trading card games and board games. This is most certainly the most important idea.
This is a place for fun.
Whether you play the games, create the games, stick to traditional freeform, or just hang out and chatter, the most important idea of Daggermark is to enjoy yourself.
The Forums
Central Forum is the one right here, outside of all the subforums. This is where general chatter goes.
The Steam, The Knife, Paradise is the place for Kunai's original group of settings that are connected by one greater storyline. All things canon to TSTKP are found here. Generally only Kunai is allowed to make threads here.
Other Games is the forum for, well, every dice game that isn't TSTKP canon. Other members are also allowed to create games here.
Freeforms is for the "normal" open-ended roleplaying.
Hammerspace is a secret. It contains stuff for crew only.
Absolute Zero is where completed or dead threads are placed for reference reasons. Every thread here is locked.
Way of the Rhyme development is for exactly what it says. It's open to the WotR team only.
