I was personally a big fan of L and not of Near....so do you think, it would've been better if somehow Near died instead of L?
Not changing the story but you know...L should've lived!!! crying crying

No, why would Near have to die? It's not his fault L is dead...it's Light's...

Well yeah but in a writer's perspective to make Light seem more evil he had to kill one of the beloved heroes. Yeah his dad could've been enough but all I'm saying is if I was the writer and I had to choose between killing L or Near I would've deffinitely choose Near. Just what I think but yeah it's Light that died in the end; I'm not saying that should change.
