I'm having a few friends over tonight for dinner and cards or a movie and I'm still trying to decide what to make. I really want Chili but maybe I should throw some steaks on the grill (but it is very cold outside to be standing at a grill). I was thinking chili with cheese, crackers and cornbread and a salad and I have a Strawberry Cheese cake already made. Or I could make steaks on the grill, baked potatoes and a salad and dinner rolls. It is going to be very casual and very informal so what do you all think?

I would do chili, because it's really warm and it requires you not to stand outside and freeze your butt off. >.< And if you want, I've always liked it when I have this special chili my mom makes over rice. It's quite excellent. C:
But if you're really craving steak you could make that and have a baked potato bar or something like that. :3

Go for the Chili ~ it's cold out and will make everyone feel very warm, comfortable and at home where if you do a steak is usually more formal.

Even so. I'd say chili. I've never actually tried it, but, not only is it warm, it fills the house with "chili" smell which would make your guests feel more confortable and "at home".
