I'll always prefer the Jazz club sound. Jazz, Blues, Swing, stuff that takes a little more work to work it in properly.
There is a reason I love it when shows can pull off music the way Cowboy Bebop did.
My real issue with Orchestrated Game Music is the vast majority of it tends to wind up awfully generic. Though that really is an issue with the people writing the music more than anything else.

s**t I'd love to find some music to old ps1 games like battle stations or to time crisis three for ps2 or for red dead revolver there so much game music that stands out in my mind that I miss

My friend and I recently got the sheet music for the Chrono Cross sounddtrack. My friend also just got the latest version of Reason, so we're going to try and do a remix of one of the songs from the game. Probably the Marbule Theme, since no one does that. mrgreen
Problem is, we're both lazy, and work full time. So if we ever get it done, I'll let you guys know.
