Hiya! I'm just curious who here likes/love to cosplay? Who do like cosplaying as? Who do you want to cosplay as? Was it fun? I enjoyed it a lot at anime conventions! They brighten my day a lot! Even if some of them are un-glomp-able. I'd Love to hear what you have to say!! I used to cosplay Riona and Aeris/Aerith. Now I'm working on Paine. She's just soooooo cool >_< 3nodding

I am currently working on Beatrix's coat. My attentions were never to go and coseplay, but my friend manage to convince me to attend the the Sakura Festival in San Francisco this April. So now I am going to try and get this costume done before April. But... I don't really think that possible now that I think about it. Especially since I am planing to actually make the sword and bandanna from metal... None the less, I am still going to try. Good luck to you.

Yay, Beatrix! April, I think, is plenty of time. *won't be able to finish own costume by June* Good luck, just make sure your sword won't be against con rules.

The first person I ever tried cosplaying was Rikku (X, not X-2 o_o), but it turned out absolutely horrible... Last year, though, I actually got a pretty good Haku (Naruto, sorry...).

ooooh it's ok! I've done horrible cosplays too! But it doesn't stop me from representing FF! >_< Beatrix eh? I'm going to find you and glomp you. Thats if I can get the Paine Costume done in time. I dont know how to make the sword. I'll see you at the Sakura Festival in Japantown then!

I love cosplaying but I never really had a decent costume. When I did I just threw together what clothing I had. If I could get a decent costume it would be Yuna's from X

It's pretty awesome, though I've never put one together for myself. Have friends who have and seen plenty of course! Love seeing a well put together costume.

Hey thats cool smile Friends who cosplay, I usually like to see them have fun in their costume instead of cosplaying myself but its addicting. Although sometimes a pain when people want your picture very three minutes.

ok... so about 6 or 7 months ago I put in a custom order with a blacksmith from kingofswords.com and next week I'm gonna finally receive it... I can't wait..... cuz this is my order.... with his swords too. I bet I'll get a bunch of people at expos to think I'm actually part of some exhibit lol

I remember that; you said it was going to be surprisingly cheap, right?
You must post pictures.

I'll do what I can... and it's costing me $550 pre-S&H. The swords are going to be another $90 each but I'm still getting them. I'm just glad I paid for it all in advance when I had a well paying job... I couldn't afford it now.

Pics? I'll do my best.

Yay! I like seeing cosplayers. They're usually creative and they do stuff that you can't see them doing.

Cosplaying's fun but it can be expensive. Last year at anime usa 2007 I cosplayed as Yuna from FFX-2. Had to take a lot of pictures though, but it was still fun. I think I'm going to try and cosplay as Yuna beserker, Kadaj, or maybe Himemiya from Shoujo kakumei Utena next. Don't know though.

This year I'm planning on going as Lucrecia then gunner Yuna and crisis core Aerith to this one convention. I'm having hell finding a good wig for Aerith though. Hopefully I can find contacts for my costumes too.

The past two years, I have been Cosplaying as Advent Cid Highwind, at the Youmacon, in Michigan. I must say, this upcoming year, may be my last planned year to be Cid, but he will alway be my backup if I can't come up with anything. to veiw some pictures from last years con, visit my deviantart profile CD's DA page. People find it funny how I can play Cid so well, yet I am female.
