I happen to write Christian Poems and I would like to share a few with all of you, but before I do that, I just want to say a few things. First, I really love Christian Poems and would like to know what you think of them. Second, if you do like them, please share some that you have wrote or some that you know of whether that be some you find on the internet or a Christian Poet that you know of. Third, just discuss Christian Poems in general.
Now, I'm told that I'm very talented in writing such poems as I share them
with many of my Christian friends. I really like the ones that I write, but I'm not hear to gloat. I'll let you be the judge of how you like them. I do not have names for the poems and I try to keep mine short and sweet.
------------------------------------------------------
Your love is my warmth in the winter
And my comfort in the summer.
It's everything that keeps me, me,
And makes me everything You want me to be.
------------------------------------------------------
Even though it was our sin that killed You
You still forgive us, You have saved us.
Thank You for all that You have done,
You will never be forgotten.
------------------------------------------------------
When I was young, I knew little about You.
As far as I was concerned, as long as I believed in You,
I would join You in heaven, I know now that I was wrong.
As I grew, I became wiser, I learned more of who You wanted me to be.
You have called to me, Lord. I am no longer lost.
------------------------------------------------------
I love You with all my heart and soul.
Thank You for all that You have done.
Please accept me, for I cannot live without You.
------------------------------------------------------
I know that his evils have me down right now
But I know that You will lift me up, Lord.
I pray that You heal the pain that is in my heart
And remind me that You love me more than I could ever know.
------------------------------------------------------
Please tell me what you think of my poems and don't forget to post some of your own or some that you know of and discuss Christian poems in general.
