I happen to write Christian Poems and I would like to share a few with all of you, but before I do that, I just want to say a few things. First, I really love Christian Poems and would like to know what you think of them. Second, if you do like them, please share some that you have wrote or some that you know of whether that be some you find on the internet or a Christian Poet that you know of. Third, just discuss Christian Poems in general.

Now, I'm told that I'm very talented in writing such poems as I share them
with many of my Christian friends. I really like the ones that I write, but I'm not here to gloat. I'll let you be the judge of how you like them. I do not have names for the poems and I try to keep mine short and sweet.

------------------------------------------------------

Your love is my warmth in the winter

And my comfort in the summer.

It's everything that keeps me, me,

And makes me everything You want me to be.

------------------------------------------------------

Even though it was our sin that killed You

You still forgive us, You have saved us.

Thank You for all that You have done,

You will never be forgotten.

------------------------------------------------------

When I was young, I knew little about You.

As far as I was concerned, as long as I believed in You,

I would join You in heaven, I know now that I was wrong.

As I grew, I became wiser, I learned more of who You wanted me to be.

You have called to me, Lord. I am no longer lost.

------------------------------------------------------

I love You with all my heart and soul.

Thank You for all that You have done.

Please accept me, for I cannot live without You.

------------------------------------------------------

I know that his evils have me down right now

But I know that You will lift me up, Lord.

I pray that You heal the pain that is in my heart

And remind me that You love me more than I could ever know.

------------------------------------------------------

Please tell me what you think of my poems and don't forget to post some of your own or some that you know of and discuss Christian poems in general.

I don't know if you could consider these poems but these are things I wrote.

As I draw this line in the name of the Lord:

Blessed are the one who come to my side for they understand and choose to understand what I stand for.

Woe to the ones who choose the other side of the line for they do not understand and choose not to understand what I stand for.

"I've been in pain,
I've been lost and lonely.
Been scared and sick, and often cried out.
I have had my head spin from confusion and strife.
I have fought to break free of a time worn life.
Only pain and defeat met me.
Only ways to forget - failed me.

Lord, all along it's has been you - only
who answered my call when I was so lonely.
It's been you Lord who answers - who pulls me out.
It's been you Lord, who listens when I cry and shout.
Only you understood and cared to save me.
Only you saw the good, only you choose to make me
One of your own. One of your own. One of your own.

Oh, it was almost tear-jerking, as if it came straight out of Psalms. Gorgeous, gorgeous, as well as Truthful words. Bravo, Tep!

The War Song

Unbearing, they're tearing
At ones who are caring.
They serve the sin
And not True Might.

They're lying, they're crying
In incomplete lives and they
Do not know what's
In the Light.

Our Gifts to them
Is Prayer for them.
We'll Hope someday
They'll understand.

Since what they don't know
Is that soon we will go
To a Beautiful, Sanctual Land.

Mine is "bleh status" compared to yours. xD

Thanks, but that was not one long poem. Those are all seperate poems. I split them with the hyphen's.

I disagree. You made it for God and Jesus Christ, hence, making it better than ANY secular poem. So, if you ask me, I would say that it's an equal status to mine.

Here's one of many

No word can define You
No phrase can describe You
No praise is high enough no horror great enough
For You are above then all You are beyond then all
Not one can compare, not all can equate
Not all the words of glory, horror and worship can even touch Your shadow
Yet, still You hear us, still You love us, and still yet, You save us
