 The past couple of very long gruling days had taken a lot out on the usually alone female. She had been drug around by a male named Kato from place to place in search of this plot of land he drempt about. His discription was nothing like any part of the territory her jade eyes have ever seen, but then again, she did usually have her head arched down to the ground as she walked around mindlessly.
She doubted he even knew exactly what he was looking for, when they came to a random spot he'd claim 'this is it!' and run about the place as if searching for a sign with his name on it only to turn out disappointed and they continued to the next spot. Each time they continued after he got her hopes up she was in a little bit of a fouler mood than before. But there was something about that wolf that calmed her down.
By now the sun was almost at about set and her male companion was almost sure this was the right spot. He did seem a little more excited about something about the place, so he went to go and check it out. Wether it was the right spot or not to make a pack, it would be the right spot for them to make camp for the night. And that's exactly what the grey wolf was doing, locating a place for the two to relax for the night as she waited bitterly.

 Open gashes let out the most vital thing to most, blood, the source of life, in a soft trail that drizzled out behind the hellish female. Lips pulled back in the menacing snarl that was like an official feature to the dark brown and black wolf. A loose piece of skin flopped back and forth in a sickening motion, one that also would give any other feeling creature pain at just looking at it.
Valdis moved with sharp turn and speed that most would think impossible for a half blind wolf; however, the female's ears and nose worked ten fold. They were sharp and following the next animal which would be her next meal and sun dried jerky. She was gaining on the poor animal.
Gaining on it, until she smelt the scent of another wolf, two actually. Skidding to a stop, Valdis' wild red eye turned to look around. Nose already twitching to pick up the trail, ears flickering to find them. She was going to spring up upon the closest one without any warning and make a kill swiftly.

The smell of another wolves blood came to the nostrils of Callisto very swiftly and strong enough to make her cringe. There was no way that Kato would have been able to go completly around her and into the direction that she smelt the blood coming from so that fear was put down quickly. Now came more alertness, as long as whatever attacked the wolf didn't come near, she should be fine.
There must have been something wrong with the female, perhaps she was getting sick, but she secretly hoped that the injured would would come towards her so she could offer it assistance and possibly protection from whatever was on these lands. No way in hell were the two wolves that were surveying the land going to settle here with the smell of blood in the air.

Valdis had came close to the others strong scents, one a female the other a male. The silent snarling lips twirled into a gruesome smile, a mated pair most likely, it just meant more jerky in the long run. Although a thought crossed her demented mind. Play an innocent.
Nope, never, she was a hunter and playing games just didn't work for her. Judging the distance between her bush and the other female, she stepped back. Valdis would do a side attack upon the other, go for the throat in one swift second, then leave a heavy trail of her blood for the male to follow. It was a plan that just needed to be put into action.
At the unmarked point, Valdis turned and broke through the brush headed straight for the other. No names, just meant another dead animal on the ground, anyways not like she could have cared about taking the other's life if she wanted to.
Blood running back across the blind eye, she looked like a rabid animal with saliva dripping from her maw. She was truly insane, but something she had grown to love about herself. Nothing was better then knowing yourself, even if it was just an outer shell to the wolf she once had been.

Callisto got a weird sensation in the pit of her stomach. After being alone for so long, the sleet gray wolf's skills have both sharpened and dulled. The fighting skills of this lone wolf were adequate, however her skills of avoiding, and manuvering were at an all time high. The pungent smell of the strangers blood made her want to gag, but the feeling of agression in the air forced her to remain very still and be ready to jump into or out of the line of action.
Sure enough, as she was charged Callisto rolled to the left out of the way and barked at her attackor getting to her feet in one foul swoop. "What's your problem?! If this is your land, I'll leave. No need to get fiesty.."
Where was that brute when she needed him.. No, she could handle this on her own. She was more independant than that, besides, Kato would only get in the way.

Right before she had leaped out towards the other's throat, it had moved. Aw well, what was the point of a kill if it was going to be uber easy? Although she had seen a brief common reflex to the smell of her blood. Most wanted to gag or take it as a sign of weakness and try to incapacitate her.
As the other took precious seconds to speak and roll of the ground, Valdis was already moving into another striking position. She didn't hear a single word the other stated and she lunged forward again, slobber dripping from her canines. Every muscle in Valdis' body was so tightly pulled together in this moment, the adrenaline was pumping so loud nothing seemed to make a noise to this killer. If she couldn't get the other's throat, she would tear open their legs.

This female was becoming most troublesome. Callisto again rolled out of the way and back onto her feet again with a smirk coming to her face, she could do this all day. But now the game came to wearing down this bloodthirsty mongrel until she got bored and left. After this strike however, she realized that she had a bit of the beast's slobber on her and only glanced down at it momentarily before looking back up to keep her eyes on her attacker.
If she were back home then she'd have her godly powers back and be able to send a puff of fire at this thing, but no she had to be kicked and and had to leave her powers there. Damnit.

Watching the other rolling with her bloody-brown eye Valdis was learning how the other countered. No teeth, just evasiveness. Circling the other, like a rabid mongrel, she truly hated acting like such, but the other's blood called to her. The blind eye set in her head looking straight forward, the flap of skin bouncing with her every move, ears pinned back she kept her fangs showing.
This was the time that she normally showed others she still had control of her black tongue, "You. You, did this to me," she growled low and throat fully.

Callisto growled as well with her hackles up high, her tail out straight and her ears glued to her head as she too showed her teeth, this was becoming rather annoying and hard work.
"Oh so it can speak.. I didn't do anything to you, monster." No, she didn't honestly believe that this would have any effect on the b***h trying to attack her, but she decided to validate her with a responce anyways.
Where the hell was Kato? ...It'd be nice for him to see her being able to handle her own.

Kato trotted back to where he left Callisto, finding no other wolves in the area he decided this was where they would stay.
He was on low alert since therewas no other wolves he knew of aronud. He head another wolf from the area where he left Callisto and started running towards her.
Crashing through the bushed he came to a stopseeing another female wolf firghting his sirens. HE growled and stood infront of her his tail held high and fur standing on end.
"Stay away from her" he warned as he looked over the scarred wolf.

Any other wolf would have given up on the other the moment it seemed to have dodged simple meaningless attacks, but then again any other wolf would have passed out from the blood lost that Valdis had in just half a day.
However, the growling sound was broken at the word monster. This Valdis had heard in the years behind her, and a small twitch in her maws right corner. The curl quivered more at the sight of the green creature that came to the area.
Two wolves on one, this was what she expected, his scent clung to the femme's fur, but she rushed upon the pair teeth coming out in a hungered quiver. Valdis had an unknown wish to actually feel things, but this pair just reminded her of the fact she had now feeling or nerves.

The day had tired the female wolf out enough going into this battle with this demonic b***h, now after a while of the dodging and rolling Callisto's reaction time and movements were slowing down. Not once had she gone on the attack, perhaps that was the only way to win this battle. And now that she had backup on her side perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing...
"This is irritating me..." She spat to Kato after the wolf's last running attack that actually nearly nicked her! Growling her hackles went up higher than before and she shook her head from side to side shaking off the feelings that she might lose this going up her back. She didn't want to engage before, but now, there was next to no other choice.

The green male looked back at his mate only for a second "You look tired go lay down i'll finish this off" he said not wanting her to be hurt. He turned his attention back to the female and snaped at her showing his canines, his fur standing on end.
He wasn't gonig to let this. . . thing, hurt his Callisto. He may not have been an Alpha but he could still fight and kill without thinking twice if the fmeem even layied a hand on Callisto.

The stench of their bond made the bloody femme hack up something in the back of her throat, one could compare it to a cat with a hairball. It irrated the female, but it made Valdis smirk as the male instructed his lover to lay down.
Geez, what a waste of meaningless energy, though the show of the male's fangs got her to give her fully gum exposed snarl. To take a bit out of the green male would be well more then enough prize to take another bite, or two, into her mangled hide.
As her last motion to just taste the blood of another wolf, feel the life from them come into her mouth, she moved with a deadly swiftness she had lacked on the previous attacks. Her red eye was locked on the male's shoulder and her neck was protected all the way up to the last second where she could feel fur brush her black gums, blood dropping in a coagulated breadcrumb trail behind her.
