Auburn District: Reconnaissance Report
After the destruction of Origin Point several years back, the explosion was so immense, that it took out most of the city--an estimated fifty kilometer radius (approximately thirty-one miles). Due to the massive fallout of the explosion, the blast zone was deemed as a hazardous zone, as military personnel once moved in beyond the SFOD-D and F.E.A.R. operatives. However, not many days after the destruction of Origin Point, Replica forces soon began to swarm the entire city with tremendous numbers. Needless to say, this caught everyone off guard, including US military forces.
Uncertain where these Replica brigades were hiding, the military quickly disbanded search and rescue of any possible survivors and focused solely on the defeat of Replica Army. However, due to the extensive damage dealt to the city, as well as third, fourth, and fifth party interference, the US Army was quickly pushed back. Needless to say, after a few weeks of battling out within the Auburn District, it soon grew to the entire city. Slowly after that, the invasion took place on a county scale. More and more Replica soldiers began to appear, and soon the state fell. Eventually, bordering states collapsed beneath the crushing weight of cloned soldiers. Eventually, half the nation, as well as partial of bordering countries, have become occupied by the Replica soldiers.
But as the Replicas continue to threat all on a global scale, they have their own internal struggle with forces from ATC, Nightcrawler Mercenaries, F.E.A.R. operatives, and even unknown/unaccountable beings seem to impede any true control the Replicas hold. And yet, at the same time, all these forces have quarrels with one another; causing further destruction of the city, but of all on a nation scale.
