Bio
<>
Full Name: Sadie Thornebaum Nicknames: Sade, Thorny, Ms. Thornebaum Age: 26 Height: 5'7" Weight: 130 or so. Build: Slender, but somewhat toned. She works out from time to time, and she likes to run - so her legs are rather nicely muscled. Hair Color: Black. Hair Style: A short "flip" cut with spiky bangs. She tames them as best she can for work, but the hairstyle is demure enough to be acceptable. Eye Color: Blue with violet undertones. Style of Dress: In a word, stylish. She's not so afraid of color, but prefers to wear black with colorful accents. She's almost never seen without leggings on, but she has the utmost disdain for pantyhose and will not wear them unless absolutely required. Her preference is shorts and short skirts over long skirts and pants. Makeup Style: Usually, she keeps her makeup to a blue and purple palette, doing her lips in dark plum and her eyes with lots of smoky eyeshadow. For work, she tones it down with lighter purples and lighter shadow. Distinctive Markings: A three-inch-around burn on her left upper arm. It's old, and she doesn't try to hide it.
Profession: Substitute Teacher General Likes: Reading, video games, seafood, children, cooking. General Dislikes: Fire, moving her furniture, panic attacks, cockroaches. Favorite Food: Hoo Mee's Chow Mein (this is real, by the way, and it's very good XD) Favorite Song: "What is Love" by Haddaway Favorite Movie: Anything by Stephen King, especially "Room 1408" and "The Shining." Favorite Color: Violet
History: Sadie was relatively normal growing up. She was personable, she was bright, she was well-behaved - the perfect student. Her family wasn't rich, but they lived comfortably, and Sadie herself had a generally happy life.
The most traumatic experience of Sadie's life came in high school, when she was in a science class and an experiment caught fire and got out of control. The whole classroom wound up burning before the fire was neutralized, but poor Sadie was tripped in the rush to evacuate and wound up with a badly burned patch on her arm. She was otherwise all right, but even today she carries the scar, and a certain fear of fire.
Her life has otherwise gone rather smoothly up to this point. Once she graduated, she became a substitute teacher at elementary schools, since she was so quick to learn herself and loved kids.
No, the trouble only started when she moved into her new apartment. Something about the move caused just a little too much stress in her, and she suffers now from acute panic attacks. Her friend keeps nagging her about it, claiming the place is possessed and she should try something to cleanse evil spirits from her person, but Sadie only brushes it off for now.
After all - possessed apartments? Things like that just don't happen....
Right?

What is Aglaophotis?
According to www.wikipedia.com -
The Greek doctor Dioscorides named Aglaophotis as a member of the peony family, Paeoniaceae. It has been speculated that the species paeonia officinalis, or the European peony, is the source of Aglaophotis, but there is little evidence to prove this theory.
According to Dioscorides, peony is used for warding off demons, witchcraft, and fever. This is at odds with the presentation in the Necronomicon, in which it is used to call upon dark forces.
In Silent Hill 3, Aglaophotis is further referenced as a means to expel evil, and is shown in the form of a red pill. It is in that context that I use the Aglaophotis here.
