I just want to know if I'm alone on this, or that there are other devoted Warcraft players besides myself. I mean, Wow is great and all, but I say there will be no denying from the fact that it cannot quite compete the the vastness and complexity of the original Warcrafts.

Blizzard's storylines are a complete bore to me. {Since they overplay a single kind} But looking pass all that and add custom mappings, I love Warcraft 3/TFT. I espeically like that NoTD:Aftermath maps.

Yeah, Warcraft 3 was great, because the races were separate and were barely alike in the construction, unlike Warcraft 1&2 sweatdrop

I must admit I loved the other warcrafts, but WoW is MASSIVE. You can play for days and not see the same thing or do the same thing. Its a much bigger game then WC3/WC2.

I don't like the way that Warcraft works.
blah blah blah build some barracks, not enough gold... blah blah blah
I like Diablo though, which I view as more of a gameplay predecessor to WoW than Warcraft

Helies I must admit I loved the other warcrafts, but WoW is MASSIVE. You can play for days and not see the same thing or do the same thing. Its a much bigger game then WC3/WC2. When you break it down, there's a) Gathering quests. B) Kill quota quests, and C) use item on X quests. A few rare escort quests, and of course shitty messenger quests, but you do the same thing a LOT. The games highly repetitive, only players and bosses make it fun.

(Haha, "Airplane" joke) anyway, seriously. Pretty much all the stories in WoW quest are crap. I wouldn't even consider 90% of those quest to be sub-stories to anything. Maybe a rock.

I'm not, and dont call me Shirley. lololol xD
WC3 wasn't indepth. Blizz is known for their epic, grand-scale storylines, but as far as detail and complexity goes, the original WC was very, very shallow. WoW is pretty complex. It has to be, though, its an MMO. I personally like most of the quest storylines. Theres one in Netherstorm that takes you through the Kirin Tor village, and you hear about Milhouse Manastorm, who was a little enigmatic mage who loved fire. I personally felt sad that whoever Milhouse was, he was gone. Later on I found out that Milhouse was alive in the Arcatraz. I thought that was pretty cool, and was happy. A lot of the preBC quest chains are shitty storyline, but they start getting really good around Silithus and Naxx and whatnot, and I think the BC quests are really great. When I first came to Hellfire I thought it was amazing the way everything was laid out and how the quests went, it really made you feel like you were actually in this big important war, and everything you did was extremely important to the success of the Horde. I rambld 8D

warcraft 3 is good and all but its missing some things that still come to question in world of warcraft. sweatdrop
Such as the new release of sunwell, which is not out yet..I thought it was destroyed by Arthas whats with the name? Also how did the blood elves become part of the horde? Weren't they all part of being led by kael'thas? So shouldn't they be part of illidan's army like the rest? how did them becoming horde come to play? It explains why they left the alliance forces but why did some join the horde and not illidan?
