Agia is a world of accepted oppression, Earth is at war, with these worlds suddenly thrust together only chaos can follow, but beyond that simple sentence what is going on? In the desert world of Agia much of the population is pressed into service for the military simply because they have the ability to use magic, grouped off based on their talents then forced to spend the rest of their lives working for their government. Earth has been plunged into war by terrorist attacks, with London in ruins the armies of the middle east push back the failing armies of europe as America falls into the hands of criminals.
A resistance has grown in the shadows on Agia, though many their numbers they are no where near powerful enough to fight the oppression the government of their people is built on, instead of uselessly throwing lives for their cause they try to run, in secret they create portals to Earth, unsure of what the new world will hold but betting their lives it will be better than this. But their plans go awry and the people of Earth first learn of Agia as a major city explodes in the largest explosion ever known, a whopping 80 megatons right in the cultural center, to say the least relations between Earth and Agia start with a fumble.
Project Waiver is an RP about sudden change, world views, many other things that I probably don't even have the ability to put into the format of this sentence, how will the different nations deal with these new people, some will surely want alliances, others will want them dead and that resistance movement is still out there plotting the Agian government's downfall.
It's a big RP, and it will be done in a guild of it's own (the guild has been purchased but isn't ready yet), but that doesn't mean you can't help out. Things that need to be done:
- The magical system needs some expansion
I have details that aren't here but that's still not dealing with the magic. Now I'm thinking there wont be much summoning in this system of magic, mostly enhancing what's there or working in directed energy systems (balls of flaming death and whatnot)
The current geography of Agia is limited to say the least, and although the basic concept is set many details are missing.
Agia is basically a giant salt flat, a big desert with not much loose sand, punctuated by large outcrops of sandstone and granite, scared by massive rips in surface, very little surface vegetation or water, most animals at least partially subterranean.
Agia does speak it's own language, this language needs to be defined enough to work with an RP system.
It needs to be detailed in phonic parts, naming structure, if we could make it so people can totally make up s**t but have it sound like one group is speaking the same language, that'd be great. also, Agia is a planet, the size of Earth, there will be regional differences so we should take that into account, maybe invent some other less used languages for realism
Things need names
since I started working on this about two days ago I've been referring to the government on Agia as ether "the government" if I'm talking specificly about Agia already, or "the Agian Government", just seems wrong to me, also the resistance should have a name, other stuff too.
Expansion on the war on Earth
As it stands I only really know how it started, and that the Chinese burned London, since it's been a month or two since Agia was opened to Earth, and many months since the war started, we should figure out where things are now, what has happened, and have like, journalistic war updates periodically.
The forces at work
I've tried to think about this a number of times, the resistance wouldn't just take off to Earth with out knowing what they were in for, and I can't believe that the Agian government didn't know about earth ether, it's fully possible that both sides have been sneaking over to earth for a while, they might even have sleepers in the various governments, or there could be other groups that we don't even know about yet that have infiltrated everybody else. One thing for sure though, Earth had no idea this was coming.
I've got details put up in one of the guilds I own, but the new one I think is much more suitable to this, I haven't had a chance to move yet though.
