LOV3; lover

But is there a human out there
Whose perfect for you? Maybe,
But maybe not.
So, we create them for you.

SO H3R3'S TH3 D3AL -

Lonikka Miller and Jaymie Renolds have just turned seventeen. On the day of their birthday, they sent in their LOV3; lover applications. Both were answered with affirmation that they would, indeed, be eligable for a model lover.
They were guaranteed that their models would be in perfect condition, and would be on their way as soon as the specifics had been filled out.
Both girls finished it, sent it to LOV3; lover, and were told that their lovers would be there in two months.
It's been two months. They've recieved confirmation calls, telling them that their models will be there that day.
Lonikka's arrived first; her models were delivered, one marked Key, the other Lock, then moved to Jaymie's, so they could open them together.
Jaymie's arrived without problems, either. Her's were marked Day and Night.
After reading the intruction manuels, they opened the crates.
The models had been decked out in jeans, t-shirts (one white, the other black, each t-shirt had a model's name on it), and socks.
The manuel read "To activate your LOV3; lover model, douse it's head in cold water. This will stimulate the model into animation."

The roleplay begins with Lonikka and Jaymie dousing their models heads with water.

YOU R3ALLY WANNA KNOW? -

Of course you do. Here's what's what: Lonikka got her models. Key is the one she created, and Lock is the one chosen by the LOV3; lover company.

Jaymie got her models, too. Day is the LOV3; lover company's selcetion, and Night is the one she created.

There are seven characters in this roleplay; Lonikka (female), Key (male), Lock (male), Jaymie (female), Day (male), Night (male), and a human friend, Nori (female, age 16).

And don't make me spell this out for you; all the models look like humans. They vary in hight, colouring and personality traits as much as a human does. Unless you hit them with a bus or toss them off a cliff and find out they don't bleed or die, no one can tell the difference.

The models know what they are. They know why they were made, who they were made for, and become completely loyal to that person.

The models selected by the company aren't programmed specifically for their new owners. That means Lock and Day are free for whomever catches their attention, but Night is specifically for Jaymie, and Key is specifically for Lonnika.

RUL3S -

o1. Obey POD's rules and the freaking ToS. They go over anything I say.

o2. Be semi-literate to literate! Don't forget to use capitalization and periods, question marks, and exclamation points! Literacy has nothing to do with post length and everything to do with grammar.

o3. Don't use *...* or -...- for actions! Use "..." when speaking. This is in third person, people.

o4. Use (), (()), [] or something like that for when speaking OOC.

o5. Do not post unless you've sent me the PM and have actually been accepted. Get it, got it, good.

o6. Please use font 9 - 12, nothing smaller OR bigger! And please try not to stretch the page.

o7. Don't write in bright, bright colors like yellow. And don't write in pale colors like linen. Ick. I prefer not feeling like someone took a razorblade to my eyeballs.

o8. Follow my profile skeleton. It's there for a reason, darlings. All you need to do is fill in the blanks; and don't touch the ages on the models; they're set and unchangeable.

I'm agnostic, bubbly, charismatic, dramatic, egotistical, fanatical...you could go all the way to zealous for me, but let's not. I like being in charge, I love music, and I love being in the center of attention. I've been through a lot, but I won't let that get in the way of relationships. Just know that I'm not gullible like half of the teenage population out there, and I'm not afraid to put you in your place if you piss me off. If you do something to me or one of my friends, you'd better have a damn good place to hide, because I'll get you back.
Now, with all this, you probably think I've got it all, right? Wrong.
I've got friends, family, a cat, and a really great school to go to. But in spite of all this, I'm lonely. So I need a guy who understands my ins and outs, who loves me for who I am and who realizes I'll love him back regardless as long as he's committed. And that's why I went to LOV3; lover. I really hope this works out.

Me in a nutshell;;
Aaaaahhh, where do I even begin? Well, my parents divorced when I was two, because who stays together for very long, anymore, right? My mom married some parasite of a stepdad who turned out to be just fine once we established ground rules, while my dad took off chasing his dream in the music industry.
My mom pulled me out of elementary school in second grade, bought me textbooks, sat me down a couple hours every day, and said "Read." That's how I ended up in junior year now instead of sophomore year like I should be. But that's another story.
So my life goes on. I have a younger half brother and sister, ages nine and ten, and I keep them out of my hair as much as possible. Hn, not much else to say other than that I started singing when I was eleven, met Jaymie when I was thirteen, and we've been inseperable ever since.

Let's first get it out of the way that being blonde-haired and blue-eyed does not make me an airhead. Got it? Good.
Under most circumstances I'm very quiet. I mostly keep to myself in the classroom and at home, doing my work and getting good grades for it. I'm very shy when I'm uncomfortable with the situation I'm in or with the people I'm around. However, I don't hesitate to make it clear when I dislike someone.
Stick me amongst a group of my best friends, especially Nico, and I open up and can be as rowdy as anyone. And as it's clear when I don't like someone, I make it just as clear when I approve of someone, usually in the form of hugs.
I've found myself more artistically oriented in the past couple years, whether drawing or engaging in the theatre program at school. If anything has contributed to helping me come out of my shell, it's been drama.
Smart, talented, reasonably attractive; you'd think I'd have had a million boyfriends by now, yeah? WRONG. I've never even been asked out. I've tried everything I can think of that is within my actual personality and character, and nothing has worked. LOV3; lover is my last hope to find someone who will love me for me. I'm a very hopeless romantic, and I really want this to work. If not...I don't want to think about what I might do.

My life's been pretty stable. Mom and Dad are still together. My older brother gets on my nerves at the best of times, but that's normal, I suppose. I make good grades in school and have great friends to spend free time with. I'm a junior in high school, eager to graduate. Since I met Nico in middle school, we have been inseparable, and there is no one in the world who could replace her in my heart.

Modelled after a legendary Japanese actor/model/singer, Night exudes self-confidence in his personality. Quite cocky really, fully aware that he's quite good looking but not enough to make him completely obnoxious to those around him. He is brash, outspoken and extremely flirtatious; qualities that can be found on a real life famous celebrity just like the person he was based after. Really headstrong and will most likely end up fighting someone who disagrees with his opinions or ideas, Night is never the type who backs down from a challenge. He's really hasty though, often jumping the gun even before thinking out his options which more or less lands him into trouble quite quickly.

Me in a nutshell;;
Just like Key and the other models, Night was modelled after humans with the exception that they are considerably much stronger than the average person and made with denser material than flesh. He is specifically programmed to be compatible with Jaymie, with similar talents and inclinations to the artistic side of life.

Key was built to be pretty quiet and to like to keep to himself. He gets nervous easily and does not do well in front of crowds. He is extremely clumsy and often finds himself tripping over his own feet, falling down stairs, etc. This does not help his image much. He's not the self-confident type. He's the 'wishes he could just be invisible, but usually ruins that dream by tripping accidentally drop his something in the middle of the hallway, or something to that extent. Every so often, he'll feel brave enough to defend himself, but it usually ends in him saying the wrong thing, or something stupid. Sometimes he wishes he was cool or could be popular and other times he hates the popular people for existing' type.

Me in a nutshell;;
As a model, Key is stronger than the average human. Underneath the 'skin', he's a mesh of wiring, metal, and parts. Like most models, he can be hit by a car and not get dented, but he's been programmed to be attuned to the needs of his creator, and in Key's case, that's Lonikka.

The talent he was programmed with goes with computers. He was given a knack for all things electronic, but specializes with security systems.

Right. There's only Lonikka and Key right now, and seeing as how I'm too incredibly bored to wait for more people to join, we can just start. Jaymie will be in the bathroom and therefore unable to wake up her models, and Lonikka will just wake up key for now.

Key felt, rather than heard, the strange whirring sound going through his head, and he felt uncomfortably wet immediately after the water hit him. It occured to him that he was having trouble breathing. A malfunction? or was it merely the process of waking up? Key didn't know. He blinked his eyes open and after a few seconds, he shot up into a sitting position, coughing. The feeling of being wet didn't go away, so he reached up and patted his shoulders; they had water on them. So did his head; his hair was dripping into his vibrant aqua-coloured eyes. Huh, weird. Key frowned and cleared his throat, a completely unecessary action, and his lips tilted upwards into a hesitant smile. "Hi," He said, a little confused. His eyes fixed on the pretty brunette. He'd only just been made, so he wasn't too bright yet, despite his programming, and didn't really understand what was going on, even though he knew what he was and why he was there. It didn't matter, though; he'd learn quickly. He did know that this was her. "Hi," He said again. "I'm Key."

Having not known when to release the pressure with which to hold her model’s head underwater, Nico was glad when Key forced himself out of her grasp and sat up, bewildered.
She gasped, taken aback first and foremost by the startling blue of his eyes. As the two sat there, staring at each other, she continued to absorb other features about him. His thick brown hair clung to his skin in snaky wet tendrils. Her eyebrows knit in concern as the model coughed and finally cleared his throat to introduce himself.

“Hi…I’m Key.”

Her eyes flitted from his face to the white T-shirt, upon which KEY was emblazoned across the chest.
“Hi,” she finally said back, rediscovering that she had been born with vocal cords. “I’m Nico.”
She felt bad for the poor model she’d had to drown to activate.
“Um…do you want a towel or something?” she offered, then it occurred to her that her model could be many other things besides uncomfortably wet. “Are you hungry? Jaymie has a spare bedroom down the hall if you’re tired. –Or if you want to sit here and talk, that’s okay, too. Jaymie’s probably going to be activating her model in the bathroom if she hasn’t come out yet, so we have virtually forever to do, um…nothing.”

To say that this was an awkward situation would be the understatement of the century.

The model was startled into a quiet laugh. "Nah, I'm okay, I thik." He said, grinning shyly. His eyes sparkled with a glimmer of humour. "I don't need anything; I think I'm just glad to be awake." Key stared intently at the girl, completely transfixed. Nico. It suits her.. It felt so nice to have someone concerned about him. A moment of silence passed where Key couldn't think of anything to say. "Uh. A.. a towel would be nice, though. I'm soaked." He wrinkled his nose; was water always this... wet?
