It's Dir en grey's 11TH ANNIVERSARY!  11 yearsCome on, guys! How crazy is that. heart heart heart *the website says that the band 'formed' in 'February' '97--24.1.1997 was their FIRST LIVE TOGETHER (we decided in a thread last year that it would be their anniversary^^) eieio~~!! Let's celebrate, ne?

i thought it was 10 to since they released decade to celebrate there 10 year anniversary. They formed in february 97 anyways and first release was on 25.7.97 so we shall have to wait ne

KyotoPsycho i thought it was 10 to since they released decade to celebrate there 10 year anniversary. They formed in february 97 anyways and first release was on 25.7.97 so we shall have to wait ne oh no you don't mad There's no date for the formation of the band on their site, just... "February '97," so I went by the first REAL date that they did anything. 24.1.1997 was the first time that they came out, in public, as a band and all five performed together--which qualifies as pretty monumental in my eyes (and it's only 7 days before February >.<) And as for 10 or 11 years, I... thought it would be 11 @_@ I'll count it out for myself xd 1997>1998:1, 1998>1999:2, 1999>2000:3, 2000>2001:4, 2001>2002:5, 2002>2003:6, 2003>2004:7, 2004>2005:8, 2005>2006:9, 2006>2007:10, 2007>2008:11 It's 11 heart

Ha! So it is 11 years! I wonder what will be released this year... If they aren't touring. If they are, they better come to America!

woow..hehe (a bit late since i hadn't been online)
But they have made it pretty far now havent they. =] amazing.
I remember last year, when one of the venue staffs asked me and my friend about Diru and if they really have been together for 10 years, i remember nodding and saying yes. and now its 11. hehe those men are great =]

Im just holding out till my diru 10 year fandom comes about then im gonna buy a big a** cake. Besides right now shin-chans bday is what i look forward to most 30 years trumps a 7 day countdown to 11 years .. then again anything shinya trumps pretty much everything to me heart

on February 2, 1997
so, it would be 11 years. What was all this about 10 then? those kinds of albums should have came out a year ago.
