Myar~! What effect are you going for? The silver does blend well, however the the black has alot more.... How should I say? You stand out more with the black. It adds presence to you.

For the first set, both look awesome. For the second set, black's better, and for the third set, white's better, but black looks okay. 3nodding 3nodding

Black looks good with the top avi's,
but the silver looks better with the other two.

It really all depends on what other color you want for your avi. For example, lighter colors like the green would look better with the silver, whereas the darker colors like the red would look good with the black. Personally, I like the black ones. ^^

I have to agree with crazyevilgirl. Black does make you stand out more. In my eyes, the lighter hair colour makes it seem that your avi's face isn't really there 'cept the eyes, lol. No idea how to explain. xD;

Personally, I've always been a fan of the silver hair.
But in this case, the black looks better, because it stands out, and doesn't uhh... blend in? In other words, it's just got more volume.
... I don't think that made sense.
