They said that peace would last forever...

Introduction

It is said...

Ever since the beginning of time, in a land shrouded in darkness, reigned seven terrible and evil demons. These demons belonged to different tribes, each having their own individual strengths and weaknesses. Each demon was strong in combat as well as using magicks. They ruled over their dying, rotting, and almost non-existent land with a brutal iron fist, keeping themselves organized in a strict council. As all hope faded and the people lost hope in peace, seven legendary hero's appeared from the shadows to rid their world of these foul beasts.

In the final combat for peace, only one hero survived. With the demons killed, the Hero wept for his comrade's sacrifices, taking revenge on the demons, the Hero, using unspeakable magicks, trapped their souls within seven masks of unspeakable power. The hero took these masks, and they where hidden away in unreachable places so that they would never be able to taint the world with their great darkness. Any a year, the hero passed away, along with the secret locations of the masks hidden.

The time known as the peaceful era began... but it was not to last.

Many years later, an explorer of high caliber had come across one of these ancient tombs, the resting place of a demon mask. Without realizing what he had done, it was too late, the sealed chamber which held the mask for so long was unsealed, the mask awakening from it's slumber and breaking free from it's imprisonment. That mask, took over this explorer and used him as a vessel. It then started to locate the others, each one attaching onto a vessel, whether it be human or demon, and used them to start their world over again.

It's still not too late, though the masks are gaining power, then can be stopped, hopefully before it's too late. Now, seven hero's must rise again, from the shadows to combat the evil demons, and save the world from certain destruction.

But this is only one version of the past, many more remain, but which one is true?

Neither race is defined by their features...

List of Races

//Note: These are guide lines to creating a type of demon or human. You can have a half breed character, but not more then one, and only limited half breeds. They aren't very common.

-Humans-

Characteristics: Humans are the weakest of the
inhabitants of the land. They can become very powerful, though they lack most natural magick abilities. Some are gifted enough to have at least one main element of magick. They can master any weapon, though depending on their abilities they can be slow but powerful, or quick on their feet but weaker. Over the past thousand or so years, humans had co-existed with the seven demon clans peacefully. Most humans would disown their child if it were a half breed. Like the demons, half breed humans would be burned, because they are known to be bad omens.

-Demons-

Characteristics: Demons are the more powerful of the two. They have the natural element of magicks, and are very powerful with them. Though their power lays within the clan they are born into. Each clan as a certain strength and weakness, and usually take on only one type of weapon. They aren't as flexible as the humans but can learn to wield different weapons if they took time to learn them. The magicks they are born with, is limited, they cannot learn what is outside their clan unless bloodline allows it, but it is highly unlikely to find a cross breed between two different clans. They would be considered outcasts, their parents killed, and most likely themselves if they cannot escape, or are sentenced to death.

+The Eclipse Clan-

Main Characteristics:

-Light purple/blue, to dark, almost black skin
-red eyes
-Long pointed ears
-Usually black tattoos on their face or body, tribal.
-Hair colour is commonly silver, but it varies.

+Weapons/ Clan Attributes-

The Eclipse Clan easily resemble close to elves, with their long ears and unusual skin. Their abilities also advance in armed combat, as well as speed and accuracy. They are also strongest of the clans in terms of black magicks. Which includes; shadows, and black flames.

-Important Facts-

They are ultimately the strongest of the clans.

~Mirror Images Clan~

Main Characteristics:

-Human-like features
-Paler skin
-Tall
-Silver eyes(common)
-Unusual hair colour
-They take on faceless white creatures, that look like a non-detailed human with long claws

+Weapons/ Clan Attributes-

The Mirror Clan is known for illusion tactics and confusing their enemies. They are the more powerful magick users of all the clans, and know how minds work. They can easily take advantage of humans, by suggestive thoughts, or playing around with images to try and get their prey to do what they bid. Their weapons are commonly thin weapons, to cause less suspicion. Their favorite type of weapon is thin thread, almost invisible, and a silent killer.

-Important Facts-

They are the second most powerful clan, following behind the Eclipse Clan. These two clans have a strong alliance, and work together perfectly, but can easily get frustrated at each other's mistake.

+Hell Raisers Clan+

Main Characteristics:

+bulky, muscles
+darker skin
+red hair(common)
+fangs

+Weapons/ Clan Attributes-

This clan is know for their brute force. They are bulky, but very powerful, though they have no magick abilities what so ever. These clan members can be easily pissed off and once they are, chances of survival are minimal. They are the muscle of all the clans, and are usually the ones who are starting the fights.

-Important Facts-

They dislike the Mirror Clan because they aren't as quick witted as them, and are tricked on a daily basis. They usually feud with this clan, but nothing has ever lead to blood oaths*. They got their name Hell Raisers because they literately look like devils when they get pissed.

&Crescent Moon Clan&

Main Characteristics:

&dragon-like appearance
&yellow eyes(common)
&long fangs, claws
&scale like skin(common)

+Weapons/ Clan Attributes-

The Crescent Moon Clan is the magick users. They aren't very strong with armed weapons, but they are the most powerful magick users of all the clans. They are strongest depending on what type of dragon they descended from. For example; if a dragon child has two different bloodlines (not very common), and fire was the stronger bloodline, then they would be more powerful in fire magicks, over the other bloodline, which is less used. They are the last ones to start a fight due to their pride, and skills in magicks. Unless you insult one of their own, they will not attack, as well as being provoked. They are the most loyal of the demon tribes as well, leaning their alliance towards the more powerful clan, Eclipse Clan. They heavily dislike the more brute Hell Raisers Clan, but will respect them.

-Important Facts-

They are ranked fourth strongest, out of the seven clans, and are highly looked up to, by all ranks. They are well respected, and because of their proud nature, they tend to act cocky around the lowest demon classes. This clan also has another form. Most of the time, they take on a half dragon. The do have horns on top of their head and some dragon like features, but that depends on how they wish to appear.

*Terra Clan*

Main Characteristics:

*thin, tall
*dark skin
*green eye/ hair (common)

This clan's specialty would be potions, though they aren't strong combat wise, they take on forms of innocent old humans or young children to trap their enemies with these looks. They blend into the humans culture, and can easily take down them by using variety of poisons.

-Important Facts-

They are the quiet ones, mostly avoiding the other clans.

This clan is blind, but they have heightened senses, and the ability to see into the future. Their blindness doesn't handy-cap them, because they are the most common and powerful assassins of all the clans. Their weapon choice is thin weapons, such as unbreakable thread, or easily hidden weapons.

-Important Facts-


The only important facts are that they are blind, and can sometimes see into the future. they are ranked second last, due to their handy cap.

They are the shift-shapers of the demon clans. They has small demon pets used for tracking purposes and so on. Their weapon choice varies on the demon. They aren't very powerful with magic considering it's only thief magick.

-Important Facts-

This clan is the lowest ranked clan. They hate all the higher ranks because they believe that they should be the rightful head clan. They always think they are superior, and will gloat whenever they can. They are basically the henchmen of the clans.
