 Pya was all ready, psyched up to leave and explore the world! His father and mother didn’t know yet but he planned a final good bye and a ‘hey ma, hey pa, I’ll be back aroun’!” Looking at the budding trees of the spring Pya began to imagine how his family would grow and mature on his adventure just like how he’d grow and adapt to a new form of life. His first destination would be the heart of the Pridelands. From there he’d see where his heart wanted to lead him. Perhaps find a god and befriend them, he had a few life goals that he wanted and one of them beside finding a mate was to meet a god. With his many goals that he wanted to achieve he wanted to first say his good byes to the ones he loved, first being the first person he ever really attempted to hurt. Actually he tried to kill but the gods obviously had bigger plans for Ukoo than to die and serve as a life lesson for Pya and the entire family.
Called out her name as he at on the same stump the two fought on. He was curious if she’d remember the log he almost killed her on. Looking down to the sharp rocks below him, Pya shook his head in disgust. There would have been no way for her to survive that fall. Sighing he turned away and looked for his niece, ”UUUUUKOOOOOOOO!!!” His eyes darted around looking for her small cute form.

 Ukoo had been alone again, content with sleeping nestled between three large rocks. The sun had warmed the stones and she found the heat very relaxing... so she nestled herself into the small dip they created in their center. She had lain on her back, with her front paws tucked into her chest. She sighed in contentment as the rays made her raccoon spots warm. She was relaxed. Her dreams were getting less and less... but when she had them-they were terrifying. Now, she intended on daydreaming...
But someone called her name. She yawned and straightened up. She was just a bit downwind, through a patch of shrubs... so she could not see him... but she could smell him...
It was her uncle Pya.
She heaved herself up... knowing that she wasn't supposed to go around him... since that night. She looked around uncertainly... and then decided-perhaps he was in trouble.... or hurt.-oH No! Pyaaaa? She shouted, pulling herself up and off the stones.

Watching the glades around the log he waited and listened for a few moments before he called out her name once again. The two of them where told never to go around each other, how ever… Pya was of the age to defy his father because he really had no fear of him. Pya was only in the second stage of his life but he was already more than half the size of his father. Pya would out grow the old man once he reached full adulthood. His mane already began to take hold of his entire fore body, mainly around the top of his head.
Looking around for a bit longer he cleared his throat and just before he was about to yell as loud as he could he heard her reply. A smile spread across his maul as he leapt towards the sound of his niece. Landing with a hollow thud he took off as fast as he could, blades of grace and small plants being easily shifted to the side by his large muscular form.
Seeing the small form leave the rocks he took a large leap over the blades of grass that gave cover to the stones she was napping on. Again he landed with a hollow thud only about six feet from the hot spot, standing with a large friendly smile and his bangs covering his right eye Pya took a small step towards her, in a friendly manner, ”Ukoo?” He stopped and his smile faded slightly, ”I… I wanted to…” All of a sudden his perfectly planned speech was completely forgotten and a rush of nervousness ran through his entire form. His father told him… no actually, scolded him to never be with Ukoo alone, what if… what if he caught him with her alone!? He swallowed nervously and his mouth began to get dry, ”I… I…” Looking down and backing away slightly he found himself in a terrible position, maybe it would have been better to apologize with dad and mom around???

Ukoo could not help but feel an immense dread fall upon her. Her uncle wanted to see her. Oooooh, she could feel her hackles raise. She stopped walking when she spotted him. She stood, stiff legged and freaked out before him. Already he was bigger than she, and his mane was starting to develop. Intimidating was not the word for it. Since that night, they really hadn't any contact.. for it was forbidden. Seeing him bigger and more muscular than she-made her nervous.
But, now she was ready to fight him. She had redone the past in her head, trying out diffrent ways to defend herself from his attack. Anything diffrent to hinder what could have happened.
She gazed at him with her red eyes wary. She didn't say anything to him at first... but as he started to stammer, she cocked her head. What was he getting at. She remained silent until he finished his murmering and said something.

Watching her begin to get stiff and defensive, Pya lost all reason to talk to her. She had put up a wall and though it hurt him he understood why she had done it. He actually tried to kill her, literally! So with this logic he turned half away and looked down, an acceptance of his apology was highly doubtful. Closing his eyes with a sigh he spoke only one world, ”Sorry.” Looking away he turned completely from her and began his slow walk away, there was some hopeful wishing that she would stop him so that he could actually say good bye to her. She was family, and even though he attempted to end her life, he wanted no more harm to come to her.
Fighting was in his blood, a cold hearted killed lay dormant within his soul, but with help from his stern father, he was successfully able to push it completely to the back of his mind and back down to the depths of his soul. The only reason a killer would come out of him, would be to defend his family, to defend the ones he loved.
Pausing once again he turned and looked to Ukoo with sad eyes, hoping that she would say something… any thing…

Ukoo was confused by him already. For one-they hadn't seen eachother for a while and yet he acted as though... he was sad to see her. She blinked her crimson eyes awkwardly. She stepped closer as the words escaped his mouth-and for once... her fear for him left her. She cocked her head, a pained look on her face.
He was sorry. She ran past him and in front of him so he couldn't keep walking. She lowered her head so she could look him in the eye. Your... sorry? She said softly, her voice ringing with the love and longing she had felt for him... even though he did those horrible things... but... he was her uncle and she loved him.
I thought I'd never hear those words out of your mouth Pya...
Why all of a sudden?

Pya watched as Ukoo walked in front of his own form. He’d paused so walking forward was completely out of the question. His wish had been answered! He’d finally have the ability that he no longer hated her, but loved her with every muscle in his heart. His head remained low but his eyes focused on her own red eyes. He wanted to smile and cry at the same time. Pya had felt guilty once he reached this age, it hadn’t been a long time but it’d been long enough to drive him over the edge and actually wanted to say that he had no slight feeling of hate towards her. Weakness didn’t exist…
His head rose slightly then he nodded and looked down, closing his eyes, feeling the pain of tears beginning to inch their way into his eyes, but he sealed his eyes shut stopping the emotion of guilt hide behind his hard exterior. He wanted to say he loved her so bad, but his apology hadn’t been accepted, and if he couldn’t explain that he was truly sorry he would probably never hear her acceptance.
”I’m sorry for what I did… I’m not a monster any more.” Looking up tears threatened to fall from his eyes, ”I can’t walk away from home knowing that my niece thinks I hate her when I don’t.” Lowering his head once again his bottom lip quivered as tears fell from his eyes, ”I… I… I love you Ukoo.”

Ukoo couldn't believe she was hearing this. She looked astonished and surprised at the same time. When his tears began to fall, she stepped up and pressed her chest against her uncles... She didn't want to see him cry.
Regardless of all the hurt, fear and sadness she gained from that night... she left it all as she comforted him. Oh Pya... it's okay... I know... I know what happened wasn't meant to be a forever thing... don't be sad... I don't blame you or hate you... She said, bringing a dirty paw up to shove him lightly in the shoulder.
The one thing Ukoo learned from her dreams was to let it go of them... and that night was just a bad dream to her. She then perked up. You mean... your leaving? She asked, blinking worriedly.

Pya continued to weep until she embraced him into a comforting hug. Heaving one more time from his sobs he just took in her scent as he buried his face affectionately into her side. Ukoo was such a nice person, he’d been a monster just because he thought her as a weakling. Who was being weak now…
He too left the night behind as new words of love escaped her mouth he began to think of the brighter future, the day she might have babies of her own, the day… He might have babies! The thought alone put a small smile on his face. Ukoo… with babies… She was cute enough as it was, she didn’t need little ones calling her m mommy to help that. He’d probably just melt at the sight of it!
Though he used to know what happened during her dreams he left complete contact as his father told him never to be around her. How ever, now he was truly appoligetic and figured he was doing right by doing so. The monster within was all but extinct.
There was something bugging him though, he told her that he loved her, and she didn’t seem to reply to it… But, he did try to kill her, loving would probably take time, or that was his logic. ”Yeah, I’m leaving. I wanna find who I really am inside.” Pulling away from the hug he sat down in front of her, chuckling lightly after she pushed him, ”I’m probably gonna live some where else for a while. At least until I find myself a mate.” Looking back up to her he gave her a warm smile, tears still mated to his cheeks. ”I love you Ukoo.” He’d try it just one more time…

Ukoo felt his sobbing embrace and wondered what had caused such a change. She gazed at him and smiled. So he was wanderlusty... just like her mom. She smiled, bringing a paw up to push his chin high, so that she could look at him. I see... Well than... I wish you luck in finding someone for you... I hope that I can find someone for me someday. She said simply, letting his chin go.
Strange thing is... she would miss him so. She would miss everyone so when she left... if she was going to leave. She didn't know... she figured that someday she'd waddle away from her family... just like her other Uncle Tope did. She sat back and gazed at him...
I love you too Pya... She said, smiling warmly

Pya was in fact somewhat wanderlusty, not to just wander aimlessly or without a reason or direction to follow. He wanted to go out of his fathers small pride and venture some where else, perhaps to start his own pride or maybe just to find a mate for himself and live within her pride for a while; maybe even for the rest of his days. He would though, come back every so often and visit with his family. The beings responsible for bringing out his true nature…
He would miss his family but it wouldn’t’ ever keep him at him. He didn’t want to live under his parents protection his entire life, and even though he got along well with every single one of them, he felt that it was time for himself to become a lion and gain more responsibilities. On top of this…Pya was bored all the time here at home. Mom never being around an’ all…
”Thank you Ukoo.” Looking away towards the rouge lands he sighed with a friendly smile, ”Do you plan on leaving Ukoo?”

Ukoo gazed at her uncle and smiled. OF course she would leave, she was KInamasi's daughter afterall and both her parents were wanderlust folk. She gazed off into the distance and simply nodded. Yeah... I'll leave soon.
SHe recalled a recent dream of hers and looked down at the ground. I think... soon I'll meet a lion... a white one with black under his eyes... I think we might be friends. I had a dream about it.
I dunno when I'll leave. I still want to make sure that Mom and Dad are gonna be okay without me

Though it was within their blood to do such things, children always had a way of changing how the rules worked. Like Pya Miwanzo when he was younger. Attempting to kill another family member when the family itself was extremely close! How ever, Pya might be the only lion within the family that would be different from the other cubs. ”Have an idea where too?”
Watching her look to the ground he took a supporting step forward, ”Be careful Ukoo. Your dreams didn’t lie about me…” Reachign over he gave her kiss on the top of her head, ”You have a gift that none of us could ever understand, I think the Gods gave it to you for a reason.

Ukoo nodded. Her dreams hadn't really shown her anything like her brothers did. She had that recent one about the big male though... so perhaps she'd meet him someday. She blinked her red eyes as the kiss planted onto her forehead. She smiled and returned the gesture.
She had never really hated pya.. just had well earned fear for him. Now... that fear receeded from her mind and she was sad that he was leaving. She sighed and gazed off... Soon all her family members would be dispersing... Even though Ardhi stayed with the family... she wondered how many others would leave. Aren't you afraid to go alone? She asked, her tiny feet digging at the dirt. There was a worried tone in her voice

Watching her nod Pya smiled warmly as she accepted his love blessing kiss. With a surge of excitement Pya stood in attention and quickly and playfully ran a single circle around his lovely niece then stopped in front of her with a large warm and loving smile, ”I never noticed how pretty you where Ukoo!” A random but up-raising praise.
It was good to know that Ukoo never hated Pya, because Pya felt guilty every time he even heard of or seen his little innocent niece… Ukoo! Looking away for a brief second as she did he sighed and looked down, ”I’m really happened we’re talking Ukoo.” Looking back at her slowly he tilted his head to the side as he forced tears to stay behind his lids, ”I was afraid I’d have to leave home in curiousity and never get to say that I loved you… or even get to say good bye.” Looking down he shrugged sadly and sniffled, ”I still feel really bad about what I tried to do to you.” Looking back up tears escaped his eyes once again, ”I’m so sorry Ukoo.”
