So I've had my epic flying mount since April of last year. I had friends from out of country visiting most of May so I didn't start my Netherwing quests until about a week or two after they were released. I had it in a week and a half (easy money woo). Then I went on a mission to get the nether ray when THOSE dailies opened and of course the day 2.3 came out I got my hippogryph.
2 days ago I was doing my netherwing dailies for some extra cash and I've been offering to buy my boyfriend his epic flyer (or at least assist in funding it) and maybe because it was 2 or 3 in the morning I finally convinced him and made him buy one. (That's what he gets for telling me I get final say!) I paid for 3/5 of it (gosh 3100g down the drain XD). He acted like he didn't really want one, but when he got it (he got a nether ray instead of a wyvern cause he was already exalted with sky guard) he probably said "thank you, dear" like 5 times.
The most hilarious part of it was when he first mounted up and was running on the ground with it and said, "This isn't very fast." I was like, "You gotta hit the spacebar." Then he said, "Oooohh, that's better." XD
So any of you got your epic flyers yet? =P

Nope... working on it smile right now helping wife with her lower level character so my high level (only one 70) is doing daily for the cash smile

DGwar I dont even have my normal flyer... im too poor... I can relate to that. It is harder to make money BEFORE flyer. Once you have flyer it opens up daily (Ogril'la comes to mind) when you have a flyer you can open up at least 6 daily = 65g a day takes about me 40 minutes to do (prisoner you have to wait for it to spawn)

I have the cash but have not bought the epic flyer yet. I'm not in any rush. I get summoned to everything and don't really farm, so the only time I use my flyer now is to get from the Inn in Shat to the flight master guy.

I have my epic windride thing that i never use, a Netherdrake that i use mostly, and a Netherray as well. Im going for the Cenerion mount next.
Yeah, i have a thing for mounts. Its basically all i do on my lock aside from PvP. Yay for a guild that doesnt raid and me not having time to raid..

I must have spend some on my alt (I think I have) plus my wife.. no wonder i'm broke. I did all of other non-repeatable quests (except instances) for all and now running shadowmoon AND netherstorm smile

I made most of my gold from farming my b/f's primal water. Soo many greys and greens to vendor. A tip, NEVER EVER leave a grey laying around if you can spare the bag space. 2.5g a stack for the stuff off water elementals....almost as good as a green. =D

I hate dailies :p
I do them sometimes, but not every day so my money is quite static. What I earn in 1 day probably goes into the next raid, or enchant, or whatever. I have a habit of giving a lot away as well, so I never make much from the AH either.
The only thing that could inspire me to farm for an epic flyer is the Ashes of Alar. Which ofc went to someone else when they dropped sad

I don't know how people find it hard to have money with the dailies out. I got my flyer before the dailies existed. Without actually going out of my way to save for it. I just mailed gold to an alt until I had enough. Wasn't hard at all. O_O

Bought an epic flyer for my main today. It's cute, but like I said, I don't know how often I will use it. xp Don't have enough gold to buy one for my alt yet though.
