He stumbled, falling next to a tree and remaining there. What was going on? His name.. he was Khajag. And there was this lioness,Avani. He'd left her.. yes, yes.. she wa smad at him. But he couldn't remember it. He remembered parts, snippets.
I'm Avani, whatsyour name?
I love you!
I'm sorry if I disturbed you!
I said what I had to say.
He covered his eyes with his paws. Why were they wet? What was so wrong? Eyes shut tight, Khajag began to cry, leaning on the tree and covering his face with his paws, curling into a pathetic ball. What... how...
And so he cried himself to sleep asleep.
He awoke, feeling warm,fuzzy.. satisfied. Eyes half closed, her glanced at the lioness next to him, his paws over her shape, the scent drowning him. He'd met her a week ago, and had hung around merely untill he got what he wanted. Fortunately, this lioness hadn't been able to say no.. and she was deliciously naive. She'd fell for it.
He smirked, licking her neck half-heartedly, before turning his face away and looking around. They were in a cave, but beneath them was dirt. Now.. should he get a little more enjoyment on her wake, or should he simply leave... he'd leave. He'd gotten his fun, and frankly, Avani was becoming boring.
With a sigh, he pulled away from her and stood up, stretching. He could take his time.
An ear flicked as she felt the one beside her move, and with a small smile, she moved her head to snuggle against him a bit-- untill he pulled away. She blinked, yawning and stretching slightly were she lay, rolling over to tilt her head at Khajag.
"Morning, " she said, smiling. "Sleep well? " She asked casually. Yesterday had been wonderful, she had him just for herself.. Finally, someone to be with her!
He blinked, looking at her for a moment, not bothering to smile at first, before forcing a small one, albeit it looked half-hearted. "It was good enough, I guess. " He half closed his eyes, looking at her.. almost coldly.
"How about you? "
Avani was too slow-- she hadn't picked it up. "I slept fine! " She said, smiling and getting up, only to sit next to the orange male and nuzzle into his mane, eyes half closed.
"I'm very happy. " She said quietly, almost a whisper as she pressed her body against his.
Oh, darlin, you're breaking my heart.. He rolled his eyes slightly, but offered her one more half hearted nuzzle. It'd be fun to watch her reaction after he was done... For a moment he contemplated a ltitle more enjoyment, resting his head on her shoulders and caging the lioness between his front legs, licking the back of her neck. It was so easy to get it just one more time before leaving, and she obviously wouldn't object..
But then.. He narrowed his eyes. There was the whole.. issue. He'd risked it once with her; cubs. Perhaps it was best lower the chances of cubs existing; usually it took a few times to make the lioness actually fall pregnant... He wasn't interested in her having them, them training them to hunt him down-- that had probably already happened once or twice. But he smirked at it; My, my, Khajag. You're such an a**..
Avani smiled, purring at the feel of his body against hers, closing her eyes and turning her head to brush her cheek with his. "Why you so mysterious today? " She asked, resting her head ponce more on his shoulders after turning her body a bit, breathing into his many.
Happy.. she was happy!
"Oh, about that, " He said, coldly, puling away so that Avani's head bobbed a bit as its support was suddenly removed. He didn't say much more after that, looking at her for a moment before simply turning around and walking towards the exit of the cave. She'd probably catch on to that.
She blinked, tilting her head and gaping at the sudden coldness of the lion. When did he get so cold? "Whats wrong? " She asked, folding her ears back and standing up, taking a step towards him. What was going on..?
"Where are you going? Do you want to hunt..? " Even though, slowly, she was starting to get it.
"Hunt? " He chuckled slightly, looking back at her with a smirk and cold, unforgiving eyes. "I'm leaving, of course. " He twitched his tail tip, stopping in his calm walk away.
"Why do you ask? "
Oh, so he was just tired of this place! With a relieved smile, she trotted to his side, looking at the older lion. She was a bit smaller than him, however, and had to tilt her gaze upwards.
"So where are we going? The savannah, the desert.. " She named a few paces, looking ahead blankly as she tried to remember them.
Oh, she was soo stupid. "Don't you get it? I'M leaving. " He said, quirking a brow slightly. "Whatever you do next is up to you, but I'm leaving. " He said, walking away from her.
"And you're not coming. " He flicked his tailtip almost dismissively, though he doubted it was the end. Besides.. he'd enjoy giving the knife a little twist. "I'm sick of you. "
She blinked, eyes going wide as she froze in place, confusion sweeping over her mind. "W-whats going on? " She gapes, sitting down and staring blankly at the lion, ears lolling limply to the side.
"What are.. You.. " She paused, looking to her paws as if to find words there, caught beneath them. "You said you loved me! " She said stronger now, standing up and chasing after him, running in front of the lion and putting her paws on his shoulders. "Whats going on?! "
It was about time to finish this. As she ran out right in front of him and held him back with her paws, he listened to her boredly, twitching his tail irritably. "Don't be stupid. Let go of me, now. " He said, folding an ear back. When the lioness didn't move he snarled, lifting his paw and swiping it across her face, claws sheathed, at least.
"I told you to let go, " He growled coldly.
She was surprised, to say the least, when the paw came right for her. With a gasp, she was thrown to the side, hitting the floor and losing any breath she had left, wiggling her way to the edge of the cave. This.. This lion.. No..
"You said.. " She stammered, folding her ears backwards.
"LOOK, I said what I had to say to get what I wanted. Now that I did, I've no use for her anymore. " He said impatiently, moving once more towards the exit. "Take a hint and if you're lucky, you'll never see me again. "
Khajag gasped, sitting up as he replayed the whole scene in his mind. No.. no, look back... go comfort her! What did she do? Did she try and stop him again? Did she just lay back and watch him leave?!
He lowered his head, looking pathetically to his paws. No.. this couldn't be him.. He didn't want it to be him...
"I'm so sorry. " He sighed. Hopefully.. hopefully this was the only one.
