Isithunzi sighed just outside the mouth to her makeshift den. She had really been hoping to delay today, but... There was no more holding it back. They had to meet him- Ezeoha. She sighed... It had only been passion, not love. She feared that they might find that out and be upset. She still knew they'd have to go. Today would be the last day of travel before they reached him. Isithunzi turned down to her girls. "You two ready to meet your dad?" She asked, trying her hardest to sound strong. She truly feared their reaction to Ez... But she'd just have to trust them. Drum around her neck, Isithunzi awaited her girls' responses.

Taka had been so excited since yesterday, when Isithunzi told them they were going to meet their father! She'd finally asked enough times, she reckoned. "Yeah! Let's go!" She said happily. Though she had said that she could live without her father, and she didn't need him... She was still getting eager to meet him. Taka turned to her sister. "You, Mawi?

Mawi Mai smiled as she trotted up from the back of the cave up to her mother and sister, she still was quite un-easy if she wanted to go or not, all morning butterflys were in her stomach. She took a deep breath in and bit her lip. "Yep!" She smiled as she playfully niped at her sisters ear and nudged her mother slightly

Isithunzi nodded as the bunch of them headed out. It wouldn't be long before they'd be in range of where Ez's lands. In fact, she could see where they had met. She figured that'd be as good a place as any to meet up with him, or at least to start a search. "Your father and I met here," she said as she reached the smooth land on the border. "He's not right here though. We're going in, stay close. The Pridelands are supposed to be friendly, but you never know. I've never been inside, only close." She checked behind her to make sure both of her daughters were staying close.

Jua Na-Taka stayed behind her mother a little bit as per her request. She squinted her eyes and could've sworn she saw something golden, but she wasn't sure. She had padded along in silence, she didn't really know what to think. She couldn't draw much of a conclusion until she saw him, she guessed.

Ezeoha yawned a yawn that could make it into the record books, stretching in his near-empty den before deciding that he better get up before the day passed him by. Most of his children had grown up to adults by now, the only one left at a young age being the daughter that had stayed with him when Isithunzi had her cubs. There were three beautiful girls from what he could remember, and if Jini'kekaya was anything to go by it, they were even more beautiful now. Ezeoha was dying for the opportunity to see them once again. Perhaps because his newest children were on his mind was the reason why he went to the very spot he had first met Isithunzi. It was a magical spot, as he considered it. Isithunzi had sung to him, and it had been beautiful... and their union had been nothing less than that. Ezeoha saw nothing wrong with it, and he knew Isithunzi saw nothing wrong with it as well. It was his cubs he was worried about, though. How would they react to knowing that their mother and father did not love each other?

He came to that special spot where he and Isithunzi had first met, and to his surprise he saw that beautiful grey lioness once again, and as an added bonus he saw his two daughters trailing behind her. There was Mawi'Mai, who looked more like his mother and aunt than she did her actual parents. Then there was Jua Na-Taka, who was practically his reincarnation. That same golden pelt, his back markings... Oh, he loved the both of them dearly, and he even loved their mother in his own way. "Isi!" He called out the grey lioness' name, closing the distance between them quickly. He nuzzled his face into her neck, happily licking her chin, being overly affectionate because this was the lioness who had carried his children. "How have you and the girls been?"

Mawi Mai looked up as she spoted a golden figure walking. Was that her father? She blinked as he started to walk over... that had to be him. She leaned over to her sister. "You know you look... just like him." She nudged her a bit and it made her start wandering what her other sister looked like. She knew that her, herself really did not look like eaither of her parents. She did have a few of their markings and colors but not much.

She looked up as the male came up. He nuzzled her mom and she blinked shying a away a bit but then he spoke. She looked out a bit. "Good?" SHe looked up

"Ez!" Isi cried, seeing his familiar figure approach. Seeing his handsome face made her just want to flirt with him again. It wasn't love, but desire that had really brought the pair of then together, but it was good to have the feeling of someone nuzzling her again.

She gave him a greeting similar to his own. She gave him a few licks, purring and happily flicking her tail as she did so. Mawi answered her question, and Isi smiled. She hoped her daughters weren't mad at either of them for being separate, but she had no idea of the feelings they held.

"As she said, we've been doing wonderfully. They've got to go on their drum quests soon," Isithunzi said, glancing down to her cubs. "By the way girls," Isi said, leaving the warmth of the charmer, "This is your dad, Ezeoha." She hadn't ever said his name to them, they hadn't ever heard it. She'd been... kinda scared to discuss him with them, for fear of negative feelings. She couldn't have kept it from them any longer, at any rate.

As the speck got closer and closer, Taka's face grew... quite indescribable. That was their father? She looked... so much like him! She shuddered slightly before he reached them, then listened in detail to what he said.

"I know," Taka responded to Mawi. Her tone sounded... disgusted, though she kept her voice down so only Mawi would hear. She knew she'd look like him, but not that much like him! Taka's ear flicked nervously. She didn't want to make him feel bad, but at the same time... She didn't need him. She'd always told herself she didn't need to have a dad, but now that he was in front of her... She wished he would come back with her. The little lioness was conflicted inside, and as such only nodded at Isithunzi's words. "Yeah, drum quests."

As they'd discussed before, Mawi and Taka were determined that they could out-music the male. She leaned into her sister as if to gain some strength from her. "I don't know what to think..." She whispered to Mawi, her paw covering her muzzle.
