About Me: Well, I’m on Gaia as a sort of break from work. Most of my time is spent working really. It’s not because I’m anti-social or my work is really time consuming. I’ve just really got nothing else I can do-I’ve got very few friends, and I’m a bit shy when it comes to the dating scene. So work’s all I really have at the moment. Oh! I forgot to say what I do for a living didn’t I? I’m a Candymaker/Illusionist but Candymaker first and foremost

Hobbies: I’ve found designing and making clothes to be somewhat interesting. I’ve also taken up gardening and reading or watching movies with my little one.

About Me: I’m pretty chatty really. I like to talk but I don’t always have the right thing to say. I’m pretty nice I think, and cheerful most of the time. I’m not too sure of my abilities but I’m trying my best. I don’t like being yelled at or pushed too much at stuff. I also haven’t got a clue where I’m going with this section so I’ma just leave it alone. XD

Likes/Dislikes (IN RP): Well, I’m not up for much OMGACTION! in RPs. I don’t really do fight scenes well, and I’m squeamish about Rping sex, so I’d prefer to just stick strictly with fade to black. I don’t think the characters shouldn’t be allowed to have intimate relations and I don’t mind establishing OOC that it did happen, but I’m not too keen on Rping it out is all.

Style: I tend to do about 1-2 small to medium paragraphs per post. That number can fluctuate depending on the situation. There’s only so much I can do in some situations, and a ton I can do in others. I tend to not go into exact detail with my character’s thoughts, or if I do, I don’t notice it. I tend to only RP in 3rd person, past tense. First person gets a little weird for me, which is probably why I don’t describe thoughts in detail. However, I do highly enjoy describing my character’s appearance and saying how the setting looks is a bit fun too. :3 I have no actual problem starting RPs other then the fact that I’m lazy and don't want to do it XD But if you actually don’t want to and we have stuff worked out, I can start.

Availability: I’m usually on for a while every day. Unless I’m really sick, but even then I’ll show up for at least an hour.
What I want for the character: Hatty’s been rather socially inept since he was young. When he was a boy, he’d put his time and energy into his schoolwork-particularly his magic classes-and after he’d grown up and gone to work in the world, he put his time and energy into his Candy Factory. So he’s had no real experience with going out or dealing with others out of the work and school environments. I’d like someone who can help him open up and keep him from killing himself with work. He’s shy and very nervous so I don’t think he’ll be getting super intimate with anyone very quickly. It’ll take time and love to really get anything of that nature from him.

In a love interest, I’d like it if Hatty had someone who wasn’t too extreme. He might be able to handle tagging along with someone who can sort of guide him into having fun, but he’ll get frightened if they’re too pushy or demanding of him. Harriet will never be a wild child, no matter what happens, but being a total shut-in shy guy isn’t good for him.

I'm kind of a vagabond, and live here and there, even though I do have my own, small cabin on the outskirts of town.

Hobbies: I like to make toys and presents out of scrap wood, and things. I'm not very good at it, but I still enjoy it. All of them are presents for friends. Playing with kids, again. I love being with people.

Likes/Dislikes (IN RP): Literacy is a HUGE neccessity. Also, decent sized posts-- no pages and pages of dialogue, but enough to give me the idea of what the character is doing, and what the character is thinking, ALONG with what they're saying. I like to take little details of other people's posts and have my character react particularly to that. Especially Leezus. He's the type to see the way someone fiddles with their straw during a date and swoon over it.

I think aim or msn messenger is kind of a must for me, actually. I like small planning outs, like saying, "Oh, I'm going to have the waiter spill the water" "Oh em gee she's wearing white!" "I KNO. >D" "HAHA K."...... and so on. I don't know if this really needed that whole little mental conversation with myself, but IT GOT IT ANYWAY. Well, I like to instant message WHILE board posting. And I'll generally chat with you inbetween spurts of posting about what should happen, what could happen, ideas, ideas, ideas.

I'm not an action-y writer, normally. I can do it, I think, to an extent, but I'd much rather have funny witty posts between characters than flying daggers and fisticuffs. Lee isn't a fighter, besides-- he's a lover.

I love it when things go wrong. I don't know why. Even if it's just little things, and throws the characters off for just a second, I love it. Stumbling on floorboards is a good example.

Style: Third person, past tense. Quirky.

Availability: I'm on almost every day, for at least a few hours in the afternoon to late PST.

He's a manslut. Completely. He CAN and WILL sleep around on anyone that lets him out of their sight. It's not that he isn't madly in love with your character, persay, it's just that he's also in love with that really nice nurse sitting at the other table in the restaurant they were having lunch at. It won't take much to hook him to your character, but it takes a strong person to deal with or understand his manskank ways-- and, given just the right personality (someone who won't try to change him, has a strong personality, and gives occasional signs that s/he, indeed, WANTS Lee to be with them... and, if it's a girl, a pretty curvacious bod. He likes the buxom.) he could even stop sleeping around on them... for the most part.

Lee's attracted to pretty much everything-- tall, short, strong, weak, childish, mature, happy, depressed... the only things that he doesn't particularly enjoy are physically unnatural things-- like piercings and tattoos, and dyed hair. He doesn't discriminate against them, though-- and has gotten into a fair few more serious relationships with heavily tattooed and pierced women and men. He can also maintain relationships with those most find emotionally distant, as he is such a giving lover. He holds his partners in the highest esteem, and sincerely thinks that they can do no wrong.

Lee cannot handle serious conflict. He just does not know what to do.

About Me: I'm a night owl mostly. I generally spend most of my time at bars and night clubs, and more than not, strip clubs. I'm very open about my sexuality and it's not unusual for me to walk up to any women and make some sort of advance. I'm a 24/7 bachlor but I'm not looking for any serious commitments. I don't enjoy being tied to anything. I believe that my upbringing on the islands has kept my spirit truly free and I don't allow people to influence my decisions.

I'm a very fun loving guy, however very laid back. I don't need a lot of things to keep me content and I would rather spend an afternoon soaking in the sun while fishing off a local peer. When you enter my apartment it's very neat and hardly cluttered.

I love the elderly. I'm a volunteer at the local retirement home. I do have a fetish for cars. Any make and model from any year I'm all over it.

I also spend a good amount of time working out. I mostly lift weights so I'm fairly well built. I have been able to take my own in a fist fight on the streets, considering I walk them all the time.

Well, I'm a very open-minded person and I enjoy talking about basically everything. I'm not picky and I enjoy doing things for others. I've been RPing for years however not actively. I prefer in forum RPing as I'm rather slow at RPing in IMs. I need time to plan out my thoughts on where I want my character to go, plus I RP in paragraph style so IMs don't really hold up to my needs.

I'm not completly against RPing intimacy. However I may be slow at it as I'm not very good at it and I tend to giggle a lot when it comes down to it. If intimacy is reached, I'd rather talk it over OOC wise before jumping right into it and unexpectedly. However during the process, it can be as random as needed. hehe

My name is Elijah, but a number of people call me Eli. I'm a professional performer living in the city, and I take my craft very seriously. I'm a magician and escape artist by title, but I fancy myself a comedian all the same. It is my greatest ambition to entertain people and bring them smiles, laughs, and thoughts of wonder. There's nothing more incredible than showing someone something they may not understand or believe. It adds a little charm to life, and that is why I greatly enjoy what I do.

I like to have fun. Mostly I like to experiment. Try new things, learn, venture, broaden horizons. I find that sort of thing enlightening. I really like to travel, particularly out to the country side where the grass grows tall and there is scenery to be seen.

I also have two rather special mice, Houdini and Leopold, who have been with me for a very long time. I like rodents, and I really do feel that people misunderstand their nature.

Over-all? I think I'm a fairly intelligent and nice guy. I simply enjoy having a good time.

Hobbies: Magic tricks, theater, entertainment, football (soccer), reading, and modern art. Caring for my mice. I also like science and history. I suppose you could say I'm a bit of a 'geek', though that seems relatively harsh.

Talents: Well, this seems a little tricky. I'm good with magic tricks, illusionary art, and escape art. I can do a lot of things most people wouldn't dream of doing; the longest I can hold my breath is for three whole minutes! I could probably go even longer. I think I'm fairly good with modern art and item arrangement to gain interesting visual appeal. I'm fantastic at football, though I'm not really any good at other sports. I think I'm a decent singer, but that has been subject to debate for years.

Looking For: Adventure. Excitement. A little pizazz to spice things up even more. Someone interesting, and smart - who at least knows what they're talking about when they open that mouth of theirs. About Me:

I rarely know what to put in sections like this. Ha, ha.

I'm eighteen this year, and a graduating high school senior. My college courses are due to start in July, pending tuition gathering and final transcripts to seal the acceptance into the program I applied. To be honest, I'm never really that busy. There are times when I'm genuinely fatigued or working, but I usually have more than enough time to dedicate to things - especially now that high school has wound down and the role of playing Underdog has ceased. I'm a conversationalist and enjoy speaking with my RP partners, getting to know them, and planning outside of the In-Character spectrum. There's no better way to hold interest than to collaborate, right? I enjoy that; I also enjoy mixed effort and sharing the idea production. I like to give suggestions, and I really enjoy it when others also offer me suggestions. The more situations I can conceive with an RP partner, the better!

I've been writing formally for a grand total of eight years at the last count, nine if you unofficially count experimental writing in Elementary. Naturally, I consider myself a seasoned writer --- though I don't take myself too seriously. I write for fun, and, at heart, I really just want my partner to have fun too, and for us to develop witty story, tense drama, and elaborate schemes. I enjoy plots and story lines, particularly things with great conflict or problematic issues. Part of the fun in entertainment is the suspense of tragedy blended with humor and happiness. Typically I like to explore bizarre twists, be they humorous in nature, or more dark and horrid. I fancy my literature tastes as those of authors like Oscar Wilde, Melville, and Alexander Dumas. Namely, I enjoy classical literature with adventurous and peculiar twists and takes on human nature. I also enjoy farce, satire, and comedy. Greatly. It's a wide variety. I just enjoy fine-arts and exploring creativity. I'm always looking to try new things and to keep my brain occupied and geared up for action!

That said? I do consider myself an open and nice kind of guy. I'm a gentleman at the core - though I can promise I'm not this proper in casual conversation. Still. Nice. I like meeting people, and I enjoy getting involved when I can. But, that's enough about me, right? I'm just an adventurous, intense plot-monger and artist.



Likes/Dislikes (IN RP):

I like plot-lines. Story. Direction. I suppose you could say I like the driving force of looming suspense and activity. Trials and errors, characterization, and general productivity. So one of the things I'm big on is working things in interesting directions. I really do enjoy it when partners collaborate with me to come up with events or happenings that may be fun for us both. I also like surprises in roleplay. Unexpected happenings are the best! Keep you on your toes!

I believe in quality over quantity. Sometimes I write large posts, but I don't encourage people to meet that same size at all. It's the content of the post, not its length, which counts.

I like forum RP, though I do AIM RP as well depending on the moment and fancy. I don't really have any roleplay limitations. Intimacy doesn't cause me to leap back and cover my mouth screaming "ONOES!", but if something like that were to happen it'd probably be better to discuss it first, yeah? But I find comedy and sexual humor to be realistic and quirky. I enjoy silliness and bouts of fun, albeit logical, immaturity in roleplay. I also enjoy serious, stern, moments. It's all about the feeling.

I also like when my RP partners can double-up characters - meaning play multiple at once. I do it willingly with NPCs and such, so it's a plus, plus if my RP partner can do it too!

Uh. Only other thing I can think to say is that I like novel-style RP. Third person formal. But that can be expected, yeah?

Style: Narrative format; third person, both limited and omniscient, though typically third person limited. I'm rather novel in style, writing paragraphs and using flows of descriptive language to convey feeling and setting.

Availability: I'm on PST time - but I'm available and online every day.

What I want for the character:

For Elijah? I'm really wanting to explore plot and intensity with him. I'd like to see great aspects of conflict and suspense --- but more so I'd really like to see someone who is going to balance out Elijah's reckless and stubborn tendencies. A voice of reason, if you will --- someone who compliments that unorthodoxy, possibly even with their own unorthodoxy. A competitor, or someone with a common sense balance. I would really just like to see a close and almost buddy-ish relationship for him. Strong, trusting, and bonded. Experimental and fun. Compassionate. That sort of thing.

I'm a bounty hunter from another world.
I'm part of a police conspiracy in which they believe me to be dead. I left my life behind and became an inter-dimensional bounty hunter to serve my time. Because my identity was foiled my commanding officer sent me away to Gaia. Now I'm stuck in a strange land with only my imagination family to keep me company.
There's nothing really to say here. My son's mother set me up for this. I'm a pretty interesting guy and my close friends are from another dimension, as am I. I use to work for law enforcement, but my time there was terminated. Right now I'm on leave from my current job as a bounty hunter. Something about being "found out". I like long trips in my space craft, dinner on the beach and 20th century music.
Hobbies:
I use to sit around the cabin playing Chess with Naite, our team captain of sorts. I must say I've gotten much better at it. I enjoyed chasing down crooks but since I'm still considered the "new guy" I seemed to get only the low level criminals. When I was younger I use to play the violin.

I'm an excellent sniper, I'm pretty good behind the wheel, and I have a talent for scaring strangers. My son says I'm a decent cook.

About Me:
I'm a 19 year old college graduate. I'm trying to get my BA in Animation from Chico then get an internship from Pixar but my dad, who I live with, wants me to get a teaching credential. I'm not an English major, and I have to emphasis this. When I write it's something I want to do, I want to express my imagination and I don't like it when it becomes a chore. I started role playing back when I was 12 or 13 when Avidgamers.com was still active. I recently started to pick it up again. I try and stay away from Novel length posters (people who can easily produce 10-15 paragraphs), they scare me, intimidate me and since I try to have the same amount when I post as my partner, if I'm with a Novel rper it becomes a chore. I do however love to rp with people who's post range is varied. I tend to post 2-7 paragraphs. When I get going on a jam I can get up to 14.
Likes/Dislikes (IN RP):
I like trying to stick to rules of the environment, an example of this is if I'm rping a real life situation I don't like someone coming in with an elf. I usually have a general sense of where things should go and where things shouldn't go so it's hard for me to accept something that shouldn't happen in that environment. And speaking of real life situations, I tend to strive for drama. My rps are like my Soup Operas. I do like fluff and all that stuff but it only gets so far so I do ask for a plot line, or have a plot line in mind when you start. I love to be surprised about the next post but if you like to discuss what should happen that's fine with me. Usually when I create a character they already have a story line, plot line, and characters that interact with them - I'm not going to ask that my partner has the same but it's nice if they have something to write about when the interaction between our two characters starts dying down.
Style:
I write in narrative third person paragraphs. Again I'm not an English major so I'm sorry if my grammar is off but I do try and have perfect replies so it does take a while for my next post. My best friend is dictionary.com and Word for Macs. When I get really into a rp I start to mimic my partners style of writing, not to a T but you can definitely see the influence.
Availability:
Really anytime. There's weeks where I'm doing nothing but sitting by the computer and only a few days where I'm off and no where near it. I love to make rp dates with my partners where we both get on relatively at the same time and stay on for a couple of hours or more to really get into the rp. My inspiration is like a fire and I need to keep feeding it before it dies out. I hate when I have to wait for my next post because then I get lazy and just kinda "forget" to post something until a week later. That fire I was talking about only lasts for so long before It dies away and I really don't have something to write about. I also get really excited when the story starts to unfold and I can stay up for hours on end to continue it.
What I want for the character:
Drama. You know those tacky Yaoi mangas that are so predictable, I just love them because they are filled with so much drama. And Yes I did get into daytime soups when I was little. Ethren has a family back where he lives who thinks he's dead and now he lives with a woman who he got pregnant after a drunken one night stand, the poor guy is subject to my abuse and I want to give him more. I like to get rallied up and live in my character's storyline. (=P kinda like what books/movies are supposed to do) Of course I would like to explore the wonders of his storyline as well as my partner's character's storyline.

About Me: I am an INDIVIDUAL~ just like everyone eeelse... Also, I copy and pasted my old form, for the most part. Made some edits. Coz. Life changes, yay!

Speaking a weee bit more seriously (but not much), I am currently nineteen and residing in the same town I've lived in for ten (eleven?) years. I work at McDonalds full time (usually, unless they're screwing me over) and am looking to acquire a second job for the summer. a government owned and operated Liquor Store, and while I don't get a lot of hours I make enough that this isn't a concern. I'm around a lot, because my new job is sweet that way, but if it's a day I'm working, I'm home at six pm PST at the latest- unless it's a Friday in which case the latest I'll be around is nine pm PST. I'm not really that busy, but I do have some form a life once in awhile, and occasionally it takes me away from the internet. But everyone is like to some degree I suppose. I'm very tolerant of pretty much everything and anything, but if something bothers me I'm not against speaking my mind and saying so. I try to always act mature, but on occasion the sugar goes to my head and I become a hyper little livewire that can spew random assortments of words and phrases that make that loony bag lady standing at the corner of your nearest fast food restaurant speaking into a walkie talkie that clearly doesn't work because the back is torn out of it and selling flowers she stole from the pots at Dairy Queen look sane by comparison. Nothing against bag ladies mind you, it was just an example. (And, a true story.)

I like getting to know the people I RP with, not just about the roleplay, but about their likes and dislikes and I don't mind listening to ranting, ramblings, and everything in between. All in all, I just like talking to people in general, and learning about their experiences as well as sharing some of my own. I am very shy at first- I'm terrified of saying the wrong thing and accidentally offending or upsetting people, but once I know you a little bit better, I tend to relax quickly.

I can be a grammar nazi if you ask me to proofread something for you or an opinion on an essay/literary piece/etc. but otherwise I won't stick you on a pike for the occasional grammatical and/or spelling error. Lord knows I am only human and make more than enough of them myself.

Something that should be kept in mind is that I am applying to go to work in Ireland come September for a year. If I'm accepted, I don't know what this will do to my online schedule. I'd really, really like to go, seeing as I'm not doing anything with my life at the moment and it doesn't feel particularly good to have no goals. Harhar. Scratch that, I didn't get my passport application done in time (thanks to my mother) and so the earliest this would be possible would be next year. Instead, I'd like to start school part time in September.

I don't mind writing, as one of my friends once put it, 'the ol' in and out', but it requires plot and a comfortable relationship with the other player to write it. In other words, I have issues with feeling people judge me about writing that stuff, but if I know for sure you're okay with it, then I'm fine with it too.

I like angst, I like drama, but I like it in balanced amounts. I like happy goofy stuff just as much as I like the soul-wrenching raging torments of emotion kind of writing.

I ADORE literacy, and I hate chatspeak with a loathing passion. I can't even use chatspeak when I text from my cellphone; it insults every english teacher I've ever had, and I had some great ones. I like moderately sized posts, but a couple of one liners here and there doesn't bother me. However, know that if you drop a one liner you'll likely receive one in return, as they don't usually give me much to work off of, and I'm inclined to get bored with one liner roleplay pretty quickly.

I very much love to learn about the histories of peoples' characters, and even if it doesn't come up in the roleplay if you have a random story about how so and so met a lion and walked away with a pet leprechaun I'd probably like to know. You can pretty much feel free to ramble at me as much as you want, because I like listening! I also ramble a lot in kind, (as is exhibited in this here form) but if you tell me to shut up I will. Promise. xD

Style: I am most comfortable writing in the third person past tense; I do enjoy writing first person musings once in awhile, but it's rare, as I enjoy describing things. (So I'll unpack my adjectives~)

I usually write anywhere from two to six paragraphs or more; I've got this... Habit of going off into tangents, or running off into a lot of description.

Asterix roleplaying is fine for fun and games and joking around, but I never really apply it to in character activities.

Availability: Week nights after six pm PST mostly, excluding Fridays, whereas the latest I might show up is nine pm PST, though sometimes I go to the movies or hang out with friends or play pool or just have a life in general. Saturdays I don't get out of bed until about 2pm PST (unless I work) because I still like to watch Saturday morning cartoons, and television gets boring after two.

Sundays I'm around generally all dayish, depending on if I decide to go and do stuff.

What I want for the character: Morian is cynical, grouchy, and overall- deathly afraid of change. He needs someone who is willing to be VERY, VERY patient with him. You could almost say he also suffers from a fear of crowded places. Being around too many people (usually more than three) makes him anxious, and so he lashes out- protecting himself with a wall of cynicism, sarcasm, and cutting words.

Also, although he doesn't have the kid yet, Morian is my planned guardian for the someday-hopefully-maybe Shattered child, which will also help in bringing him out of his "OmgpeopleHATE" thing..

Oh, and he has the (as of yet) undiscovered ability to very mildly disrupt time. I.E., slow it down for a few minutes, or speed it up. He's done it once or twice not really realizing it because he doesn't really talk to anybody, but he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

There was something else I was going to include about Mor, but I totally forgot now... OHWELL.

Other: Clearly, I ramble a lot. Sorry about that. Also, by the end of this form I was getting tired, so I got lazier. Sorry about that, too. XD; I don't get lazy in roleplays though, because roleplay is fun. Yes indeedy! Also, this is the third time I've copy and pasted this form. And I've changed it minorily every time. 8D HAHA.
