Alright now here we go!

Firstly you need a solo entry using the following prompt. It’s mostly just to introduce yourself and your Tea-Dragons as characters. Please feel free to either post right under here and in your personal Tea-Dragon thread in the main Guild. Preferably here, but if you wish to cross post it into your Tea-Dragon thread thats quite alright.

Uncle 'Tea-Dragons'

Welcome to the Shoppe!
The bells over the door chime melodiously as you walk into the warmly lit room. An older man greets you, introduces himself as ‘Uncle’ and offers you a seat at a clean table. Others begin to arrive, each at their own table. You are not alone long, Uncle returns with a tray and sets it in front of you.
Upon that try, neatly laid out is a teabag or tea ball. But there is something odd about this teabag/tea ball, it feels heavier when you try to lift it. Also if you leave it alone, it quivers slightly and is that a slight hum you hear emanating from its colorful exterior?!

React and continue this, playing both yourself and your teabag/ tea ball. At this first stage the essence of the dragon is present yet it is in small pieces so it can only hum and quiver slightly.

When your done with this you can move into the other threads that Uncle creates, or that you can create for each other.

*Those that have dragons fully emerged; you can also do this prompt. Then when you can actually RP your dragon in its final stage within the other threads. At that stage dragons can chirp chatter and slowly begin to speak our language.

With the soft chime of the bells in the front door, Blade slowly made his way on in while glancing about briefly to take in his surroundings. He hadn't been here before, and he figured that he'd try the place out while he had some free time. So after greeting the older man and sitting at a nearby table, he glanced down at the tray that had a teaball resting on top of it.

Hm? It's just a teaball...

Tilting his head slightly, the thief picked up the object while examining it with his dark red eyes, noting that the ball seemed to be rather heavy for something filled with tea leaves. He looked it over a few times and tossed it into the air once to make sure he wasn't imagining its weight.

Maybe it's just really dense inside or something, he thought idly while setting the black teaball down gently.

For awhile, he just waited, wondering if he was going to get some hot water or something to let the tea steep. And as his eyes wandered about the little tea shop, some slight movements coming from the table caught his attention. Blinking, he focused on the teaball again, furrowing his brows as he could have sworn he saw it move. Perhaps he just jostled the table slightly at first. However, while he didn't move again, the little ball quivered once more.

Raising an eyebrow, he just continued to stare at the object, wondering if some of the sleep he lost last night was messing with his head at all.

Carefully, Blade lifted a finger and prodded the teaball gently. It rolled slightly from being poked, and shuddered once again. Though this time it even let out a soft hum. Now being fairly bewildered with the odd actions of something that was supposed to be inanimate.

After a stressful day at work, Rain had went to an extremely neat Tea Shop to seddle down a bit. The store Keeper, who introduced himself as Uncle, had greeted her warmly and helped her to a table. She sat down slowly and almost collapsed. Rain looked up a bit to see a tray before her with a lilac shaded Tea ball, but no hot water.

"That's strange...Hmm?"

She placed it on her palms and noticed how the weight quite different than most tea balls or bags. She stared at the colors of the ball, and it seemed to be...Moving? Rustling about, the tea ball moved back and forth. She shook blinked slowly, and looked at it again. It...Moved...?!

((Sorry, but I can't post that much today...I'll edit maybe later... sweatdrop ...))

This is perfect! Meegs thought to herself as she pushed open the door to the beautiful little tea shop. A new place for tea! As Uncle greeted her, the dark haired girl bowed her head politely, and took her seat at a table near windows at the front of the shop.

This is sure to be the best tea ever! She silently rejoyced as the shop keeper brought out a tray. To her surprise, it lacked the hot water. "Well, okay..." she chuckled, her fingertips poking at the small pink teaball. I'm sure he'll be back in a moment with that, there seems to be quite the population already.

Taking the opportunity to inhale the sweet scent from her appleblossom teaball, Meegs sighed happily, though when the ball seemed to reflect her joy, she paused.

With wide eyes, the girl examined the small metal ball. Twisting it in every direction, she near opened it. No no, she silently scolded, it's just a teaball. Just a teaball that' I'll enjoy like the others.

When the small ball vibrated again, Meegs set it back apon the tray. "That...cannot be normal," she muttered aloud, and glanced about the shop to see how the others in the area were doing.

Oni walked quietly down the street. At only 13 she lead a stressful life of school and work. She sniffed herself, vaguely self-conscious and made sure she didn't still smell like the kitchen she worked in. Satisfied with the pear-ish-straberry scent of her body splash, Oni allowed a small smile to reach her lips as she found herself infront of a tea shop. She looked in to find several people inside and smiled. A cup of tea would be perfect.

She pushed the door open, listening to the shimes tinkle before slipping in, wringing quietly at the hem of her shirt as she shyly shuffled forward. As she was led to a table, she looked around, her eyes dancing amusedly as one person seemed to be talking to her teaball. She stopped when Uncle stopped and smile, ordering her tea as she sat down.

"I'd like Victoria Rose Tea please. Teabag preferred," Oni said quietly as she scooted closer to her table. She folded her hands lightly on her lap, her legs crossed as she smiled warmly at Uncle who smiled back, walking away to bring her her tea.

She waited patiently until Uncle brought back a tray with a tea bag and a mug. She glanced at it, a bit puzzled to why there was no hot water, but said nothing. She reached out, twisting the string around her finger and stroked the little teabag, not unlike how she usually dealt with her tea. She housed an odd maternal instinct for inanimate objects such as teabags, note books, pencils and sometimes even eraser shavings.

Oni withdrew her hand suddenly when her teabag vibrated. She glanced around worriedly, thinking it might be an earthquake, but when no more tremors were felt, she poked gently at her teabag and it hummed. She blinked, surprised at the teabag. It seemed to shift positions and sat kind of like a sack of potatoes leaning against a wall. She poked at it again, creating a lump. The teabag immediately shifted, smoothing out the lump. Oni snatched her hand back, staring at the tea bag in wonder.

Aldessa blinked and collapsed into a chair, leaning back. Normally, she liked dancing and flirting with everyone she met. Tonight was different. She'd spent an obscenely long time on the bus traveling across town.

It was freezing out so she had stopped into the shop. It was warm and comfortable inside. Before she even knew what she was doing she had ordered a hot chocolate and a red rooibos tea. She often had something sweet with her other drinks.

She leaned on the table and zoned out, and was slightly surprised a few moments later to find the tea and chocolate on her table. She blinked and dipped the tea into the cup a few times. It felt heavier than she thought it should, but then, she was exhausted, she figured everything felt heavier than it should. Then she dipped her spoon into the chocolate, starting to stir it. There was resistance. At first she grunted, certain they used a powder, disappointed. But then there was a tiny splash.

"Dear heavens I'm hallucinating," she thought at first. but then there was a second splash. She blinked and rubbed her eyes. A moment later a tiny head emerged. Green, somewhat lizardlike, yellow horns. It.... meeped at her. She blinked again as spots of blue appeared emerging from the chocolate, they were feathers.

"Oh my goodness," she said it out loud but quietly. It meeped again and fully emerged, sitting somehow on the surface of the hot drink. It looked at her and cocked its head sideways. The feathers belonged to wings. Feathered wings like a parrot's, rainbow colors. It looked over at the tea cup, and a bit of smoked emerged from his nostrils. The aroma of chocolate became stronger in the air.

Aldessa looked the cup too. There were ripples, and an almost subsonic hum coming from it. "Dear god there's two of them," she said, her eyes growing even wider.

Tygress Dream

Beloved Shapeshifter

Tygress thanked Uncle and took her seat at a corner table. She really loved corner tables giving her a chance to watch the other customers. They all seemed rather facinated with the trays in front of them so she was very eager to find out why.

Soon she had in front of her two trays one with a tea bag with dainty pink flowers on its tag. It had a wonderful scent so she picked it up for a sniff, it was oddly heavey and it quivered at the end of the string. She blinked and set it back on the tray carefully now she understood why the others were so fascinated. With a gentle finger she prodded at the tea ball on the other tray she doesn't see movement this time, but there was definately a humming in response....

"Well you certainly arn't normal teas are you..." They seemed to hum back in response... Tygress sat back to await Uncle and perhaps an explaination...

Sharonlady gently pushes open the door and gazes around the room in wonderment. There was something special and magical about this little shop!! She glances around and notices that most of the tables were taken and quietly heads for an empty table as not to disturb anyone. She slides into her seat and settles in...what a wonderful place to relax after a hard day!!
Sharon looks around for a menu and notices a kindly gentleman headed her way with a lovely wooden tray!
"Good afternoon Sir!!" The kind man introduces himself as uncle and sets the tray down in front of her."Thank you very much and it is very nice to meet you too!!" After their conversation uncle heads off to help more customers.
She gazes at the beautiful purple and orange teabag, wondering what flavor it is!! She gently picks it up and is amazed by its weight and scent, it was heavier than it looked and the scent was intoxicating!! she gently lowered it back to the tray.
She sits and stares at the teabag, mezmerized by it beauty and aroma!! The teabag quivered, Sharon rubbed her eyes in disbelief
"Wow it really has been a long day!!" she exclaimed to no one in particular. As she brought her attention back to the teabag it seemed to move and hum!!
Smiling, Sharon carefully picked up the teabag and stroked it lovingly with her finger, it quieted down and seemed content, so she cradled it in her hands and waited to see what would happen next!!

Hoshi sat down in her seat with a long sigh. The quaint little shop was just the thing she needed after the long day of drama filled classes and impassible tests that she had taken. As she waited for her tea to arrive at the tiny table, a laptop was pulled out of the side bag. Already on the screen were data entries waiting to be made into various graphs.

Hoshi didn't notice Uncle had long since set her tray down on the table as the clicking of keys silenced out the sound of the shop. Stretching out the fingers, she finally noticed the tea bag and cup waiting for her to see. Picking up the tea bag though, something was very off about it. Their was a glittery like substance coming from the bag...or at least what she thought was a part of the bag.

Her head tilted to the side as she realized their were wing like projections coming from the bag, making the glittery dust fall onto her hand, tray, table, and everything else. That can't be good for the tea she thought, as musings of drinking glitter entered the mind.

About to tear what Hoshi assumed to be a "decorative" item to the bag, the bag hummed rapidly with a violent flutter of the wings. "EEEEEEIIIII" letting out a very surprised yelp at seeing the movement of the wings. The bag continued to hum and move in her hand like that, as if it had known her intentions to harm it. The wings strained in the fluttering, unable to lift the weight of the tea bag from her hand as the glittery substance was blown into the air from the wings movements.

Craddling the bag in her hand closer, Hoshi was curious as to how and what was causing such movements in her tea bag.

Kibrika was invited over to this particular tea shop by a friend who said she would like it if she liked dragons and tea. Since Kibrika loves dragons and tea is her favourite drink, she did come.
On walking in the shop she noticed some of the customers sitting at their tables chatting to lovely little critters sitting on the edges of tea cups and swimming in teas. "Ooh, I want one like that!" she thought to herself, sat down not too far from Tygress' corner table and asked uncle for a pomegranate raspberry green tea eagerly waiting for a small bright colourful dragon of her very own.

Draconicfeline thanked the old man with a nod as he brought her her tea. It had been a depressing set of days- flatsales lost and people winning things she felt that she ahd worked hard to get.
It wasn't fair.
She had seen the tea shop and had thought it would be a good idea to get some tea. Tea always made her feel better.
She looked at the label for the tea. Honeybush.
She smiled tiredly. Nice. She'd never had that flavor before. She picked up some honey onto a spoon and licked it while she waited for her tea to steep. mmm... the honey felt good...
suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw... movement? but it was just the cup. How could it move?

the water began to darken as the tea steeped, growing opaque. she sniffed, letting the steam tickle her nostrils.
Suddenly a paw ponderously came out of the steaming water and rested on the rim.
Draconicfeline gasped, not quite sure what was happening.
The paw pulled the rest of itself up, and a dragon was revealed, beautiful and yellow.
A drop of honey fell into the water and the dragon watched it fall... then rise as a buzzing bee.

Draconicfeline tentatively reached over to the dragon. It was nice... soft...cute...

"Um... Uncle? I'm going to need a new cup..." she said, smiling widely, "mine just came alive."

Berri steps into the cooled air of the shop, finding relief from the early June heat. Taking her sunglasses off, she smiles and thanks the older man for the seat. She admires its pretty colors for a moment, then starts to look for something in the black hole she calls her purse.

The tea-ball shakes slightly and emits a sweet humming noise.

She hears nothing at first, still digging through her purse. She pauses, then looks back at the tea-ball on her tray. It's moving! Berri gasps and picks it up; it's heavier than normal. She feels the tea-ball rocking gently in her palm, wondering what the noise is. Putting the ball close to her ear, she hears the soft, sweet humming coming from the resident in her tea-ball. Berri smiles and puts the tea-ball down.

"Uncle?" she asks quietly, "May I have a some hot water?"

The tea-ball seems to shake a little harder as if it is excited to meet its new mommy.
