I've read all over the internet that Jazz is blind. Is he really? O.o

Where did you read that? Cause there lots of reasons people think of as why Jazz wears the visor.
Here's some of the ones I read:
1.) He's optics are red
2.) He's blind
3.) He could bearly see (use visor like glasses)

I don't think he's any more blind than Soundwave or Rumble. No, the reason why Jazz has the visor is much more damaging. He actually has super-kawaii shojo bishonen eyes, and if anyone found out, he would lose all his street cred.

XD Or his eyes are as Tampon described them and so they're so freakishly out of place that they would scare any who saw them.

what way did they say he was blind? It could be that he was not a good officer (not good for avoiding a disaster).

Here's my take on it.
Before the war, while he was still a punk teen kid, he had a bit too much energon with his frat buddies. He put on the visor because in his drunken stumbling, he thought it would get a few laughs out of people.
After passing out, his frat buddies played a prank on him and welded the visor to his face.
And there you have it. Jazz wears a visor due to his frat-bot buddies.

Jazz doesn't wear his visor all the time in the movie i don't know where you got the idea that he did rolleyes and if you don't belive me watch the movie again and pay attention

I merely see the visor as a customization option. With the single optic visor as opposed to dual optic units, there is less depth perception available, but more surface area for scanning an environment. Perhaps that would allow for greater options in visual scanning (different wavelenghts of light, thermal imaging, etc.).
Then again, as was pointed out Jazz did not use the visor through the entire film- meaning it is a HUD/Optic protection option.

Blue-Naruto NeoPrime726 i dident think transformers could get blind LOL! I think that doesn't really count considering it might be their animal parts that made them blind rather than their bot counterhalf. As for Jazz, I think the visor is for extra perception and view considering the wider it is the more you can "see" or sense. Besides it looks cool on him gosh lol

I like that idea better XD actually i only read he was blind in like fanfiction (okay and i know that's not a good place to get the most 'accurate' information about Transformers) I'm just glad he's not~ I would really like to see his optics sumtime especially if they're super kawaii eyes like that heart

the only connection I have to jazz being blind is that jorde laforge from star trek next gen will be playing jazz in transformers animated. (one of magnus's elite)
