 Jiona was laying in a tree, her legs hanging over the branch and her tail swishing behind her lazily. She yawned loudly, looking up at the moon above her. There were no clouds that night, and the moon was full, illuminating the savannah in a silver glow.
She leapt from her perch on the tree, landing on the ground with hardly a sound. She stretched her front legs out, then her back, then shook herself off and wandered towards the pool of water not far from her. The moons reflection was bright in the liquid, and she lapped at the water, causing the moons image to shift and waver.
Jiona knew the full moon always brought strange happenings, and she wondered what it would bring this evening.

"When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie thats amore'" The voice wchoed through the trees, gentle and melodeous yet full of glee. "When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine you're in love'" The voice continued growing louder until paw steps could be heard, clearly who ever was coming wasn't bothered about being heard.
A young tabby orange leopard leapt through the undergrowth without a moments hesitation ;llanding in a spread eagled manner his head tilted towards the full moon. "Yes thats AMOOOOOReee'!" He finished and dipped his head to lap at the pool never noticing the drinking companion.
It wa sonly when he lifted his head that he spotted the chocolate female against the dark backdrop of the jungle. "Oh hi.." He chuckled. "Sorry if I scared you."

Jiona's ears flicked around as she heard the singing voice, and she turned her head to see where it was coming from. A yellow-orange leopard came out of the darkness, and she raised a brow at him.
Jiona took in his appearance, wondering why she was meeting so many leopards nowadays without any spots.
"Oh, don't worry about it. You didn't scare me." She said with a smile, her tail curling around her legs. "You have a lovely voice." She said, tilting her head at him. "What's your name? I'm Jiona."

The young leopard smiled roguishly at the female and gave a low bow his whiskers touching the water as he did so. "They call me Beau miss, Beau the Bard an' a pleasure it is to meet you." he gave her a cheeky wink then as he settled by the side of the shimmering pool.
"I'm glad I didn't frighten you. Didn't realise anyone was about, was just singing at the moon. Tis a pleasent thing to sing to."

"It would appear so." She said with a smile, her tail thumping the ground as she watched him. Her eyes went to the moon for a few moments, taking in its beauty before settling back on the male.
"It is a magnificent thing." She said with a small nod, dark eyes sparkling. "I suppose you sing often, if you're called a bard. You do have a lovely voice."

The tabby male gave a grin and a nod. "Indeed I do, I live to sing it's in my hert and soul to let a chorous roll over my lips. Without it, I'd probably fade away in to nothingness. theres nothing better in the world than a tune." He beamed brightly one of his back paws beating in time to some imaginary tune.
"If you listen carefully the whole world has a beat, you just have to tune in to it to get a song."

Jiona smiled, her tail flicking behind her. "Ah yes, I must say I've never really been one to carry a tune well." She said with a chuckle. "I'm tone deaf, really. But you can sing very well."
"Do you travel all around to sing your songs?" She pondered, tilting her head slightly as she watched him.

Beau grinned cheerily the young tabby leopard giving a quick bow. "Why thankyou, I always like to hear that people enjoy my singing." He gave a roguish wink then and flickered his tail his ears tilting forwards. "Of course, the world is full of tunes you can hook in to. The more places you go the more songs you learn and each new face brings a song." He puurred and looked at the chocolatey female quietly. "I'm sure you're not tone deaf, you have a very relaxed tune about you."

Jiona smiled playfully at the orange leopard, her eyes darting down and back up again with a mock shyness. "Oh, well thank you. But really, I can't sing at all." She laughed lightly, her tail flicking behind her. "I would prove i to you, but I don't want to assault your ears."

Beau chuckled lightly his dark eyes shimmering int he dappled light from above. "Well I wouldn't want you to do anything you don't want to, but still, I'm sure you can sing the bioirds from the trees if you tried." He puurred settling ina seated possition to look at the dark brown female.
"It's strange I havn't seen a leopard for a while then I meet two in just a few days." he chuckles. "Perhaps you are all appearing for my music hmm?" He grinned playfully and winked. "I'm only playing, by the way, I'm not that vein."

Jiona smiled as her tail thumped the ground a few times. "Oh but you have good reason to be vain." She said, smiling playfully. "You have a lovely voice, being confident is nothing to be ashamed of." She said with another smile, a little more pure this time.
"Have you ever considered giving lessons?" She asked, cocking her head to the side. "That way you can spread your talent through others."

Beau chuckled and a slight flush rose through his fur, he felt very flattered by the dark brown female. "No not really, I didn't think anyone wanted to learn to sing. I just do it because I have to." He chuckles. "Sounds silly saying i have to but I dunno what I would do without a song on my lips."
He beamed foolishly and flickered his tail "Maybe I should teahc others though, this wokrd could do with more music in it." he mused quietly.

Jiona nodded in approval. "I agree. There's always room for a bit more happiness in the world. It balances all the grief." Her eyes glazed over for a moment at the mention of grief, she had obviousy had plenty of it in her life. She pushed the thoughts away and smiled weakly at him instead. "I'm afraid I'm not a very good conversationalist. I think I'm getting tired." She said with a small chuckle.

Beau smiled carefully, it seemed this female was a little down in the dumps. "What you need is a really good song to sing when you're feeling rough. Want em to teach you one? I have a good one that I think would be just perfect for you!" he puurred his dark eyes glistening happily. The one thing Beau insisted upon was that folks were happy and if his music would make them so he was happy to teach others his musical talent.

Jiona smilat the good-hearted leopard. Why not? She hadly ever heard songs nowadays, and if he wnated to sing then she wouldn't restrain him. "I'd love to hear it." She said, turning towards him more, her full attention on him now.
