Just a fun little game I thought up in the vein of Jeff Foxworthy's redneck jokes. Only cooler because people can actually relate to them. *canned laughter*
Anyway, here goes!
~Every pair of pants and shoes you own have some kind of paint splattered on them. And you can name which show that paint came from.
~If someone says something that reminds you of a musical, you MUST burst into song.
~Your friends have come to accept this.
~You've dressed up as characters from plays for Hallowe'en.
~You have, at any point of your life, been able to correlate your love life to a musical, characters and all.
~You think Michael Crawford is pretty damn good looking, despite the fact he's old enough to be your grandfather.
~The medicine cabinet doesn't lead to an underground lake and this upsets you.
Needless to say, I apply to all of these. I now hand it off to you, oh geeks!

~when there are multiple outfits of black in your wardrobe; this confuses those you know greatly, seeing as you are not a goth, punk, or any other type of angsty stereotype. In fact, you are a geek. sweatdrop
~when you have more OBCR CDs than other types on your CD rack.

~you cringe when you see "theatre" spelled as "theater"
~you hold theatre superstitions even outside the theatre (I dare not say the title of "the scottish play" anywhere.. and I cringe when people say it)
~you try to stay away from the "Highlights" versions of soundtracks.
lastly: ~you burst into song randomly...
~... several of your friends join you
[lesson: you're a bigger geek if you hang out the other big theatre geeks 3nodding ]

Shocks_dumb_cohort ~when your mp3 player or computer playlist comtanis more musical songs than regular music~ *coughcough* Yes...The only regular music I have is Barenaked Ladies and Queen ninja And that's only about 10 songs...and I have 244... ~When you walk through random places with the hand at the level of your eyes ~When random songs from musicals pop into your head depeding on the day of the week, what's currently in your CD player, and your mood ~When you use the word "punjab" on a regular basis.

~All your big word vocabulary come from shows that have used them so you can't forget what they mean.
~You get excited in history class because their on the topic of the french revolution and you know the answers to all of the questions because of Les Mis and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Also there's the musical Ragtime for the industrial revolution. You know what? You just get excited in history when any topic you are doing has a show based around it.

~ You literally spend more time in the fine arts building at your school than at home. ~ If the name of "The Scottish Play" is ever uttered, you make the utterer exit the bulding, turn around five times, and spit upon the ground before letting them back in. ~ You get really annoyed when people don't know what you mean when you say "catwalks" or "blackout" or even "monologue". ~ People who don't take theatre seriously or don't commit to their roles piss you off. OkatuGurl ~you cringe when you see "theatre" spelled as "theater" *Twitch*

Way too many of these apply to me...
~When exclaiming the lord's name, it usually comes out as "Jesus Christ Superstar."
~Every time you look at your watch and it's 9:15, you feel the need to sing "and our bedtime, 9:15."

~For all those still in school- If you aren't in drama class but the teacher knows your name because of all the plays and musicals you've been in. *Raises hand* Backstage!!!!
~You never have any money left in your paycheck because you spent it all trying to buy tickets to musicals.
~Your parents never have any money because you make them buy your tickets, even if they don't see the show.
~You join a club or summer program just to see the musical or play at the end of the program. *raises hand* Did it 2 years ago.
