Hi! Well... I am sure there is a thread for introductions, but, I thought that I should say something....
Well, some of you may remeber me when I was first in this guild. I came in an athiest, and left a buddhist, in a short way of explaining things. Of course, I didn't belong to a buddhist society nor did many people know of my beleifs.
I stayed like this for... I would say, maybe three weeks until all of a sudden, I began to drift from the "Buddhist Way" Then, Christianity began to apeal to me. Every time I saw a bible, it almost tugged at me, begging me to open and read from it, and I ignored that feeling. Until finally, the wall holding me back from the Bible ruptured and I lost sight of Buddhism and moved to Christiantity. And, to this day, I am still a Christian, however, for the brief 3 weeks I was a buddhist, something happened to me! It... almost became part of me, and I knew that I would never be able to turn back from Buddhism, and so... I am back as a buddhist christian! Hi everyone!

To label yourself as something such as "Buddhist" or "Christian" is an I AM THAT expression of the ego. Which, is not in accordance with the way of said "Buddhist." However, I think it's good that you're opening up those walls. Just don't be tugged in by the non-existent I AM THAT self, by labeling that non-existent (sp?) self as something. Something existing. There's a quote I like, quite a lot.. "Defilements (belief in the ego-self) are like cats. If you feed them, they keep coming back." QUIT FEEDING THAT EGO SELF. There is no "you" to be "Buddhist" or "Christian." Aside from that, hello. =)
