A warped green and blue wall of fire piro erupts and when the flames die down, Mike is standing in its place in the old "Hurricane Helms" pose, paying homage to his roots. He stays on the stage and hypes up the fans, screaming at them at the top of his lunges until the chorus of his song comes around, and he drops everything to make a mad dash for the ring. He jumps over the bottom rope and flips up, then leaps to a random turnbuckle and resumes his screaming at the crowd, as if obsorbing the energy from the audience.

Mike was the new number one contender at Edge's WWE title, despite some foul play on Mr. Kennedy's part. He didn't like the way he won the opportunity, but he planned on makeing the most of it either way.

((Ding ding ding))

Mike meets Edge in the center of the ring, well aware and watching for any of his underhanded tricks he might use to start things off.

Mike just breathed in and took Edge's ridicule like he took from everyone else, he was expecting him to run his mouth a bit more and the forearm caught him off gaurd and sent him stumbling into the ropes.

Mike would stop short of Edge and go for a kick to his chest to bring him up, then go for a Leg Lariet to bring him back down to the mat.

Mike stayed on the mat and attempted to lock in a Kymura arm submission on Edge's right arm.

Mike couldn't stop Edge from making it to his feet, so he tried to adjust the hold into a front face lock guillotine.

Mike released the hold and backed off holding his ribs, coughing a little bit.
