Description
Marvin is one of the officers located within the R.P.D. It seems like he was good friends with the S.T.A.R.S. team members as well as the majority of the R.P.D.
Biography
Marvin is the lone police officer you find at the RPD. While you never find out his name in Resident Evil 2, it is revealed in file form in Resident Evil 3. Marvin was commonly referred to by fans as the "Will Smith Cop" (because of his similar appearance to Will Smith) until his actual name was given. One of the original questions was if Marvin got his name originally from S.D. Perry's novels. He was first named in her novels of early 99, and then later the name was used in RE3. However considering the approach given by Capcom and Perry herself, chances are they gave her his name when she first asked.
While explaining what has happened to the town, to the S.T.A.R.S. members, and giving you a key card to the areas of the police station he forces you to leave the room he is in, locking you out later. You may find a way in, but the question is will you decide to come back and what will you find when you do?
