Uber spellsteal!
We we in Mechanor or however you spell it, and we got all the way up to pocket calculator man...
About halfway through the fight he did that MC thing of his on me. Naturally, I didn't want to be his puppet, so I ice-blocked out of it.
When he got to about 30%, I realized "Hey! There's a new thing above my spells!"
Apparently, something happened, and I got his spell.
Domination:
Control a target up to level 70 for 10 seconds.
I wanted to use it, but we had just wiped out the place, and he's 72. So, hoping I would still have it when we left the place, we exited. I didn't have it. I was bummed out!
Has this happened to anyone else? It'd be cool if it stuck!

Hmm, don't know about that one, but in Botanica, the Mender mobs have a sweet buff, Holy Fire (or something...) that gives something like 250 spell damage. <3 I always force my priests to MC them for that baby.

In my guild if you get MC'd we'll kill you on the spot for shits and giggles.
When somebody gets MC'd try to spell steal their buffs and get some of those selfcasting buffs.

I was farming primal manas in netherstorm a while ago, and ran into some undead mage. He didn't start a fight, but rather, just kept spellstealing my water shield every 2 minutes. I thought it was pretty clever.

I was in Av one day and had preperation on me that gives 100% free mana cost to any spell, my battle group had shut down for abit and I got kicked but the preperation was still on me, that was a nice farming day as I was a mage =D

So did you keep the buff all day until you logged out?

I popped recklessness, death wish and was fully buffed when I got dominated, managed to two shot the priest, boy was he pissed.
