Rose dipped wings spread wide, adjusting any stiffness to their structure, before withdrawing to the safety near the angelic's back. With dark tails sweeping calmly behind him, Embry made his way around this Headquarters structure. He had seen one before, but had not known that there were two of them. They were similiar, yes, but not the same. And Embry found it in his scout duty to investigate the area.
His heart tattooed ear gave a small twitch, listening for any other kitsusagi. But there were none to be seen. And the slim male had not dared to enter the building just yet, having smelt Nightmare tracks at its front step. And so the reaking scent had left him on the outside, peering through windows and under porches. Maybe it was even in efforts to spot the phoenix kit and her other guardian, but that was yet to be seen.(sorry, but for the life of me I couldn't think how to rp with Allen. So if you wouldn't mind using Fencer...?)

Chocolate colored eyes searched his surroundings as his white wings tucked neatly by his sides. His long royal blue colored ears flickered about for any noises belonging to Kitsus of any sorts, especially those of female angelics. Ah, the outdoors wooing the hearts of single and beautiful ladies was the best time to be outside. But to his dismay, he saw no females within immdiate sight.
As he made his way softly towards the relatively new HQ in his eyes, he spotted the darker colored angelic not too far from him. Thinking that angelic was possibly a female, he lifted up a paw, licked it then quickly groomed any messy fur back into place. How lucky of him to spot a possible female so far out here! On his first try, too, none the less. He could only wonder what reactions would stir if the possibility turned out to be female.[That's alright. And this may actually be good for Embry, Fencer may push him a little bit. ;p]

Ears flicked in quick alert, and Embry darted his head up. Where had that come from? That sound, and the scent seemed of angelic nature. Silver eyes scanned ahead of him, over the porch. Nothing there. The male turnedhis head to glance behind, and that's when he spotted the blue form. It had been another angelic, but not a familiar face. Embry blinked in quiet ponderings. This was only his second encounter with a stranger angelic, and he wondered if this one was 'psychic' too.
One brow rose softly to the others actions. What was he doing? A grooming, first assumed, but something told Embry it was too...proud to be just that. But it was none his business to pry. Gently, the grey angelic spoke up. "May I help you, stranger?"

To his disappointment the voice was not that of a sweet female's. But it wasn't as if Fencer would feel resentment towards this. If he was psychic, that would certainly spell dieaster. He would certainly read into the minds of fellow females and try to woo them based on those thoughts. No, he didn't have any sort of special powers. Though he would argue otherwise saying his beauty is some sort of blessing. Special powers in disguise.
"Ah, I'm sort of new around here. Just looking for some company, I guess you could say. What brings you out here on such a fine day? And don't call me stranger, my name's Fencer," he nodded gently.

What was that? Embry had perked an ear to the other angelics reaction. His face had shifted from enthusiastic, to a pause, and then to a sort of shrug. Had he been expecting somthing else? The slight male slipped his pause from the patio, stepping to the side of the structure with curled tails. "You're new as well? Then greetings."
His chin was nudged in the direction of the building, silver eyes kept to the other. "You may find company in there, if that's what you seek. Though all sorts of kitsusagi enter there, including the occasional Nightmare." Embry paused, before bwing his head shortly. "My apologies. Fencer, then. As for myself, I am Embry." What was he doing here? Feathers adjusted with a soft ruffle. "Nothing much on my end, just exploring so to say."

Of course he was expecting something, he expected a beautiful lady waiting to be wooed by the likes of him. Emrby didn't fit into that image at all. Well, save for the little heart-tipped ear. Aside from that small feature he was definitely not female, thusly not beautiful. "Nice to meet you too," he hid the slight disappointment in his voice. If only there was a beautiful girl here...
His ears perked at the mention of Nightmares, "Ha, Nightmares. Think of themselves as all high and mighty. We owe 'em nothing." Exploring? Perhaps they would meet up with some beautiful lady? That would be rather nice. "Mind if I join in on your...exploration?" His tails wiggled excitedly.

Embry's posture slipped down somewhat, ears drooping against his skull. "As much as I could agree with you, please keep your voice down." His eyes scanned to the frontal door before returning to the other angelic. No need for outside confrontation, let alone it coming from their enemies.
"Join me? Whatever for?" The male blinked before shaking his head. "Nevermind, that's not called upon. Join me if you like, though my company may be more quiet than expected." He highly doubted the other would be entertained with following him. But all the same, he wouldn't flat out deny his request.

So Embry wasn't one for confrontation? The opposite of Fencer, but he wouldn't take offence to such a trivial matter. More important things were at hand, such as finding himself some beautiful girl to..."befriend". Oh, would they fall head over heals for him. Or so he thinks.
"That's fine, Embry. I'll keep you entertained," he winked playfully at him as he followed. "So..." He started, "Are there any...attractive females around these areas? Ones of our kind, of course." Even though he wanted to keep small talk up to make it a little less awkward, he was interested in this matter.

Sand tipped tails curved side to side as they walked, Embry keeping a formal distance from the other and an even pace. Silver orbs would glance occasionally between Fencer and their environment, keeping open alert.
Until he faultered, front paws almost bumping into each other in suprise. What? The angelic turned to the other, bluer male. Attractive females? "Come again?" His wings moved like a curtain on his back, the male standing still for a moment. "Our kind is rare enough to come by. But yes, I'd suppose there would be... fanciful females about." The topic was an awkward one for Embry, and he soon pressed forward with his paws more than his mouth.

His ears perked up at Embry's response. Fancy females about. His newly made friend must know one or two, or maybe a whole hoarde. A grin formed on his maw as wide as the width of his face. It mattered little now if the subject made Embry feel awkward, especially since they only just met. There were beautiful females to meet!
"Really? So you must know one or two, right? And maybe even got close to one or two with your handsome looks, right?" He continued pacing behind Embry, but not too far behind. Only half steps away from him now. Subjects of interest were brought up.

He tried his best to ignore the other's enthusiasm, almost with ease. Almost. So, had that been why the other was grooming himself so intently just earlier? Silver eyes found themselves rolling subtly but no words were commented. A pretty boy, it seemed. But who was he to judge on such simple quirks? It certainly wasn't polite.
One heart made a turn to Fencer, his ear tip twitching lightly. Know one or two? Gotten close to them? The angelic sighed an amused sigh, shaking his head. "I know of some angelic females, yes. But as far as 'cloesness' goes, aquaintances are all that is made." His pace was smooth and even, despite the giddy stranger at his heels. What an odd male. Embry quirked a brow to Fencer. "And what of you?" He could only imagine the countless females he's tried to swoon.

He was a very vain creature. He knew it, but he was proud of it. It's not as if he didn't have the handsome looks to go along with it. Or so he thought anyway. His opinon on his beauty mattered the most, unless some attractive female he adored said otherwise. Then maybe he would consider changing it, maybe. But even then he'd have to think long and hard over it. He could only do so much. He was born looking so gorgeous.
Only aquaintances? How sad! "Honestly?" An ear perked up at the shocking response, "No close female friends, eh? Maybe we ought to fix that for ya'. Anyone of them particularly closer to you? Even in terms of aquaintances?"
Embry's question only stroked his ego even more, "Only a few aquaintances here myself, too. Though I did get closer a couple times, but I ended up here in search for love now. Don't worry, buddy, I'll help ya' out," he winked.

My what an ego. If Embry was any other jolly angelic, he'd fire back in the topic with just as much passion. But no, Embry was set apart. On the opposite end of the spectrum that Fencer had presented. And so, the angelic ignored his nerves to try and attempt a valid, if not continuing talk with the other male.
"Honestly?" His voice repeated the question naively, before he finally formatted it. "Yes, why?" Eyes tread over to the blue male with brows slowly lifting as the other continued speaking. "There's no need for fixing. What's here is managing just perfectly on its own." The very idea of terms above aquaintances, wel, Embry never even dwelled on. What need was there too? He was a scout and nothing more. That was his set purpose.
And so he ignored his other question, shaking his head while tilting dark hair from his face. "Oh? I see. You're into brief encounters?" It was a guess, but was all he could come up with at the other's explanation.

Hm, Embry would need some convincing it seemed. "You sure 'bout that? Why doesn't it need some fixing? Don't you ever feel lonely all by yourself? No closeness with others? We're emotional creatures, we need others. Don't you ever want to reach out and ever touch someone else? At the very least, holding paws or somethin'? Or nuzzling, resting in the other's warmth while you bathe in comfort?" Fencer asked passionately. No matter how asexual Embry made himself to be, even asexuals need others. They crave company, too, surely?
It was a guess, but not a very good one. "Well...about that," he lifted a paw, scratching with slight embarassment, "Some complications came up and we had to go our seperate ways. We still occtionally keep in touch. But anyway, that's not of importance."

Embry's muzzle seemed to cringe or twitch faintly as Fencer kept on. Must this really be an issue? Though, the grey male did have to pause his steps, giving the other a considerate gaze. "You're well impassioned on this subject, aren't you?" And here Embry had assumed Fencer nothing more than, well, a peacock of sorts. Flamboyancy without any depth. Seemed he was wrong. Ears tipped to the sides and he winced to his interigating, question upon question vibrating his skull.
"Those qualities are...intriguing, yes." Silver eyes skirted to the woods some distance off. "But touching? Nuzzling? What boundaries are there? No need to initiate them unprecedented and cause confusions." Besides, Embry couldn't trust his own instincts in such matters. How insulting would that be, to let his nerves take control of him? Who would want to bother with that in another, even if for just holding paws.
Head tilted down and back to Fencer. "I apologize, for your troubles." Seperate ways? But not important, how was that? "So...you're in nothing more than aquaintance? Friendship?"
