Welcome to the guild!

Ello, ello. Name's Yummy Ukulele. How do you do?
Typically, I side with the Democratic Party, and consider myself a liberal. I can't think of a favorite political philosopher, as with most philosophers that I come across and learn to favor, I soon find one idea or belief that I do not agree with, enough that I lean away from them. This applies to political influences as well. But, if I must, I guess you could say that at the moment I am interested in the philosophies and ideas of Mohatmas Gandhi, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Martin Luther King Jr, and Henry David Thoreau. This being so because I'm somewhat a part of the transcendentalist philosophy, in the hippie culture sense, and believe in non-violent civil disobedience when it comes to protesting and urging to authority and government a certain idea or way of thinking. Because of that, I do not agree with the radical "it's okay to use violence if it means change for the best" way of thinking and do not consider myself an "eco-terrorist". Also, much against the common myth that liberals are communists, I do not agree with the Marxist ideas of utopian societies, because although they sound delightful in theory, simply do not work in action.
Oh, let's see. Anything else I'd like to share with you? Well, I've been paying attention to the presidential candidates since early last summer, and even longer with Dennis Kucinich in particular. Kucinich was my first choice (second being Barack Obama), until he recently dropped out of the race to put more focus on re-election of his congressional position, which he's been criticized for not showing enough effort and interest due to his presidential campaigning. I also sometimes find myself to be the most politically aware person in the Political Awareness Club at my school. Hell, the leader didn't know who Ron Paul was at our first meeting. Sure, in his defense, he knows a great deal about government, from what I've seen, because he's taking college courses on the subject, but when it comes to everything else that we discuss, he is very naive.
Well, I think that's that. If you're interested in further information, such as other interests besides politics, I suggest you refer to my profile.
EDIT: I forgot to include my age. I'm 16, 17 in April.

I cant believe I haven't done this yet XD and I helped come up with the idea for it,
My name is Jake I am 17 years old and this is me in a nutshell: I'm joining the Green party after the primaries are over with, but I'm an Anarcho-Communist. My favorite Philosopher is Karl Marx (of course). I'm influenced by tons of people to name a few here they are as fallows: Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, The Weather Underground, The Black Panthers, Huey Newton, Angela Davis, Subcomandante Insurgente Marcos, Abbie Hoffman, Bobby Seal, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. , Jello Biafra, Gil Scott-Heron, NOW (National Organization for Women)...Etc. Also I am a Vegetarian, I am a Feminist (and proud of it), I hate Racism, Obviously Sexism (including Misogynists) , homophobia, and Xenophobia (meaning I don't like it when people are afraid of immigrants.), I'm for legalizing soft drugs like weed, LSD, etc., to fallow that I am really interested in drugs and their effect on the minds of people, I also despise capitalism, its all bull, it holds down the poor and makes the rich, richer and richer well the poor get poorer everyday, anyway theres a lot of other things but they're probably things you can obviously tell, things like how I'm obliviously Anti-War and all XD.

Name: Just call me Red Age: Late teens that's all I'm saying Political Party: Well as an Agorist I would not wish to register for a political party, as elections are simply a way to make the State look legit. But if I were a minarchist or a partyarch I would side with the libertarian party. Favorite Political Philosopher(s): Samuel Edward Konkin III, Murray Rothbard, Benjamin Tucker, Ayn Rand (not an anarchist but her ideals did get me to lose a lot of my faith in the state), and lastly Gustave de Molinari. Biggest political influence(s): The individuals mentioned above as well as my own life experiences. Anything else?: Well I despise any form of collectivism such as Nationalism, Racism, Communitarianism, Xenophobia, Populism, patriotism, and lastly statism. Also I like counter economics.

I should hope so seeing that both variations of market anarchism. The differences between Agorism and Anarcho Capitalism are that Anarcho Capitalism (or at least the original Rothbardian Market Anarchism ideology) doesn't actually involve any comprehensive strategy to bring about Anarchy. Simply put Agorism is Anarcho Capitalism mixed with Counter-economics.
